Apollo Proton is a very good place for breast cancer, The biggest thing is that there is Dr. Bhavana Sirohi she is a very experienced complete doctor, I went to Chennai with my mother-in-law, she has a breast cancer patient & my mother-in-law received very good treatment there. I was the first to visit the Apollo Proton Hospital in Chennai so I had trouble understanding their rules. One of the people who helped me at that very moment was Miss Nabanita. I must say I am profoundly overwhelmed at the care, concern, compassion, empathy and courtesy of all the staff members - Nursing, Food, House keeping. Everyone was eager to help and ensure that I am comfortable. I must make special mention of Sonipriya, Monisha, Gayathri, Christy and Merline who cared for me every minute of my stay. I felt absolutely comfortable and assured the moment I met Dr. Sujith K. Mullapally and Dr. R. Srivathsan that nothing will go wrong. The confidence they gave me was fabulous. I had visited the Proton Cancer Centre for taking my first dose of the covid vaccination. Everything was extremely well organised - parking of cars, seating arrangements etc. Thanks to all the staff members. They did however accept payment only by cash. Fortunately, there’s an ATM unit inside the main building adjacent to the pharmacy. This was also my first visit to an Apollo hospital and was pleasantly taken aback by the ambience, cleanliness and upkeep of the place. :)

I had my proton treatment here in Apollo Proton Cancer Centre in Chennai India, i am from Philippines but currently working in Dubai UAE. We were picked up from the airport by Mr. Leggins who brought us safe here. The Guards in the Lobby was very polite and accommodating, the housekeepers from all floors of the hospital are very friendly and made our room tidy always, Sipun and Monu in Proton Are very kind. The nurses in Proton Joy and the other nurses are very friendly and kind. The technicians in the proton area are very sweet and caring, they made me feel comfortable while i was in the treatment table.The nurses in Ward B are all approachable, from Ms. Pani charge nurses, ward nurses like, Vinudhini, Merlin, Soni, Shruthi, Therase, Lavania, Rada and most of the nurses are very pleasant. They take time to talk and comfort me. They go beyond the call of duty as what the theme of the hospital is. The infection control nurse is also caring, reminding me to wear mask as protection. The staffs like the International Patient Services are also approachable and sweet. The Porters who takes me to my treatment are also kind. The nutritionist and ENT Doctor Joseph are professional too. Words are not enough to thank my Doctors who made me feel loved and important, Dr. Sapna, Dr. Nagar, Dr, Patrik, and Dr, Sujith are such a splendid team of experts. I would like to give soecial thanks to the Dr. Who made the plan for my proton treatment, which i am deeply sorry i forgot to get His Name.All in all i have so much gratitude to all the people here in Apollo. I requested for an appointment with Dr Roopesh Kumar on 05/10/2021 2.30 Pm. We had reached there before time. We came to know that Dr was in OT and we had to wait bit long. The assistant was a boy who told us he will come only after one hour, so we were waiting and it was more than two hours then I told the assistant that if the doctor is busy then I will come some other day I understand that OT takes time, then he told me that doctor will come in 5 minutes and I was waiting for almost an hour and more. After 3 hours, the assistant took me to another doctor , first I thought that he was his assistant and I thought he will examine first then Dr Roopesh Kumar will Examine second. After all examination he suggested me to take MRI, then i asked will I meet Dr Roopesh Kumar, coz I only came here to meet Dr Roopesh Kumar. He said that he is not available, Now I really got irritated. If he is not available please say he is not available or they should have asked me if I am willing to consult another doctor without discussing anything with me they just asked me to consult another doctor and they asked me to pay 2000 rupees for consultation. If I want to consult someother random doctor why should I come to Apollo Proton. I would have consulted any other hospital nearby. Dr Roopesh Kumar did lumbar disc surgery during 2016. Hence, I specifically wanted to meet only Dr. Roopesh Kumar as I felt that I am getting the same pain again. I am not complaining about the doctors but the administration is really poor and manipulative. If the doctor is busy say that the doctor is not available. Very bad experience. When I asked confronted with the same to the people at the reception, I got a irresponsible and lethargic answer.

Food is tasty. And the staffs are so kind and supportive. Well behaved. They provide complementary apple juice until the food prepared this shows how they take care of patient. On experience - The best hospital experience ever. Visited Dr Venkat Sir and Revanth Sir, they were really good and they were very supportive in all stages. I want to thank you all Nurses and especially the ward members in Floor 5, they were very helpful always. Good parking facilities, restaurant food was really good at affordable price. Management and process was really good and you don’t miss any communication.

Hygienic and clean environment is the prime point of this hospital. Handling patients very politely is impressive one. guidance and updation about treatment is good. My father had undergone Tomo therapy for 10 days. The next day reporting time been informed in advance (previous day). During the treatment time the house keeping persons helped much. Especially, they helps to handle the highly sick patients from the entry time to exit time. staffs, radio therapist, nurses and doctors all are doing their parts promptly. The way they care the patients is appreciated. Overall very good and hopeful place for the treatment.

We traveled from Ethiopia for better treatment for my brother just a few days ago. The facilitation after we arrived was excellent and smooth by the international patient service, especially Mr. Govinda Krishana.s. He was always there to support us with humbleness. Though we arrived on sunday, he was active in replying to all our quaries and he facilitatined to meet to our Dr. right away the next day. We have had the best experience in being admitted to the hospital, and he is still helping in our next steps.

Everything is best. 5 star for doctor, 5 star for cleanness and hygienic, 5 star for facilities but 0 star for cash counter. Very lengthy billing process. Cash counter staffs are very rude behaviour.

We are from Bangladesh and My wife is a patient of breast cancer metastasised to bone and other parts of the body. She has been treated by Dr. Prasad E (clinical oncologist and Dr. Sapna Nagia (Radiation Oncologist). And also Dr. Vishnu ( surgeon orthopaedic). All the doctors are very good at their field of subjects and and found this hospital as specialised in cancer treatment for multiple organs cancers in advance stages.

My mom had her surgery in Apollo. Firstly, amazing service by Dr. Imtiaz Ghani who is truly a gem of a person, answering all the questions and listening to the patient. Secondly, amazing services by the hospital ward members, nursing team members like Praseetha, Vijayalakshmi, Karthika and from physiotherapy team Akbar, Santhosh were very kind and empathetic towards my mom and helped her to recover early. First of all i would like to thank apollo proton for treating and curing my father. Iam coming from a from a small village in villupuram district. We admitted our father on Dec 21 for Nuero related issue. Dr Roopesh Kumar . Hats off to Dr Roopesh Kumar sir . His experience and kind attention towards my father cured my father head injury. The staff nurses worked with caring and love towards my senior citizen parents . The nurse staff make feels my senior citizen parents that they are in safe hands. Writing this based on experience for the treatment of my brother Shrey vijay singh. This hospital is one of a kind and it is a speciality cancer hospital. The hospital has a very good infrastructure and have good experience with doctors as well. The concern is their administrative staff , they just are slow and try to delay things as much as possible like payments, their machine is not working or there is an issue with billing. Seems like they want you to be there forever. Its understandable there maybe some bad days, but their overall attitude doesn’t reflect like they really want to serve people. The operations are slow as a snail. It will be better if the operations can be improved.

One of the finest specialized hospital for treatment of cancer. Came here for treatment of one of relatives. Patient management is excellent. They ensure patients get the right kind of attention and a coordinated treatment plan is provided to the the patient. Overall highly recommended.
