    An decent place for eye checkup. Usually crowded. The staff are quite polite and courteous. Like the aspect of calling out names of the patient when waiting the tests and consulting doctors seems like a good practice. But sometimes when it is crowded we never know how long we will be waiting. A token number system would have been better. All the testing centres across all branches and doctors opinion are uploaded to the cloud which was an interesting thing. Feel like most of the doctors and lab technicians were not trained in typing which causes some delay in the report and consulting time. Saw many using one finger to type out long reports. Has valet parking. The food on 5th floor was terrible. Would advise to go for some small hotel nearby or swiggy it. The coffee was terrible. The sitout areas are neat and comfortable.

    This review is based on multiple visits as my mom had gone through two cataract and a retina surgery. Doctors are polite is an understatement, they make it a point to explain the patient's condition with calm and composure, which is really liked a lot. As I've mentioned all three surgeries were scheduled like a breeze, absolutely no hassle for us. Mom was lucky enough to have her surgeries performed on her by top brass of the group and we were thankful for that. I personally feel staff members are the back bone of smooth operations in this facility, they are courteous and always ready to help with any queries that we ever had.

    The care and attention seeked towards bed ridden patient on wheel chair is very poor . We are here for second time and we are made to wait in every room again.there is no courtesy with staff to follow up what action is being taken

    I liked the way the appointments and slots were organized. The main doctors were very professional. They listen to you completely and guide you thoroughly. I noticed that Every patient is treated equally and respectfully. In other branches of Dr. Agarwals, i have always seen people being unprofessional and being careless while attending to patients, but in this particular hospital (especially cornea floor) I found almost everyone working here being committed to work. There is a lift right from the basement to the topmost floor. There is a small snacks corner in the ground floor. There is a reasonably good parking space with a lift (easy access for elders especially). The waiting rooms in the cornea floor were clean. The lady who cleans the 3rd floor kept the floor and the restrooms extremely clean and I found that she was committed to keeping the floor clean. Recommended!

    Can get crowded, need better time management with patients. Better if they have any token system. Also the canteen is placed 5 storeys above, with no much variety. The snack kiosk near the entrance usually is out of stock with most options. Treatment wise nothing to remark as yet. It'll be great if the above mentioned factors are looked into. Love the upkeep and maintenance.

    A very good eye hospital. This has got all facilities and very good doctors for treatment of eye ailments. Large number of people visit every day to this hospital and hence you can expect a good crowd. You also need to wait for your turn to meet the doctor which can take up to 2 hours. Prior appointment is required here. Patients need to book at least 10 days in advance. Surgery and other treatments are very good. Overall a good experience.

    It is the best eye hospital in Chennai, especially due to Dr Soosan Jakob, Dr Soundary, Dr Amar Agarwal and Mrs Mimi of Global Patient Support Staff. Their support was really appreciable and excellent. From day one, we got their prompt service. Bangladeshi patients are really grateful to Mrs Mimi for her excellent support and service. Everytime, we saw her to give fast service to all global patients, especially, Bangladeshi Patients. 🇮🇳🤝🇧🇩

    They are like very rude especially receptionist. Personally no proper service. No proper communication to patients. My father did cataract surgery, there are very bad in service. Surgery was good,but lack in patients caring. Only few members care well. Other people like if u ppl having money they care well otherwise worst in patients caring. Very costly. Especially TTK agrawals bad.

    This is a common issue with all 'corporate' hospitals - push people to surgery. For that reason alone I chose to meet their head of quality doctor to get some clarity on my issue. Shockingly and sadly she refused to explain my situation after I showed my reluctance to surgery. She gave me 3 options, all surgery without explaining the situation. I kept asking why is this happening, neither she or her junior explained - because I insisted to know the junior went and asked her again, still no response. You have to do surgery, without any reasoning!! Such a terrible treatment of patients, it's one's choice to do surgery and get rid of glasses. I wish they held the dignity of doctors, by treatment us as humans and not money machines. This sad state of hospitals now is terrifying.

    A well organised hospital were the moment you are registered as a patient, you are told to be seated in the waiting area. Within 5 minutes you are attended and the process of your eye check up starts. Very neat and well maintained reception area. The hospital has got a good team of doctors who attend to your problem and advise/ guide you accordingly.

    The admin , reception staff are taking too much time for a new patient registration. We reached at 8.45 AM and filled the form and given for new patience. They called at 10 AM for some clarification and completed. No control or system to send patient for different tests. Directing to go 207 , after waiting more than1 hour again some one came and told to go 210. It is totally uncontrolled and they treat the patient is not having any choice other than this. Not at all organised and the staff are very Harsh.

    Both the Doctors as well as staff/nurses /metrons/attendants are working as a TEAM and all are very cordial. Hence the work flow is very smooth, systematic and quick. The hospital is very neat and clean. I am seeing & visiting this hospital since last 15 years. A lot of improvement has taken place. Wish this trend will continue for the satisfaction of the customers.

    I travel all the way from Ghana, West Africa to Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital, Chennai-Southern India for medical treatment and reviews. No doubt they are a team of professionals who know exactly what they are about, are so down to earth, serviceable and give excellent customer satisfaction. Prof. Dr. Amar Agarwal, Dr. Soosan Jacob and her team, Dr. Soundari, Mr. Gopala Krishnan and Mr. Mukunth B. were exceptional!. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone who wants a one touch eye care.

    Eating up the whole day. Patients were coming only as per appointment based on the confirmation from hospital , then why we need to wait for the whole day. If one patient taking 15 mins of operation, then y should all patients have to wait for long hours. It's worst thing. They should plan accordingly. Very bad experience of waiting for the whole day. Irresponsible replies from employees. It's not free treatment, we are paying the amount and waiting for the whole day, it's worst thing. They should plan accordingly, rather making all the persons waiting to show that the hospital is always with more patients. Both aged people is suffering, also the attenders too get spoiling there work for the whole day. Hospital should consider this accordingly and have to take proper action

    Ive visited for my grandmother's cataract removal operation. They asked us to reach early morning as given time but actually they don't know for the day how many patients they are gonna operate. It is not went as per timing and planned. Waiting hall is very room and conjested. They are many rooms to improve the hospitality. Communication and polite response needs to be improve between patient, Gudien and staff. Hopefully this feedback would be helpful for management to take action accordingly. Thanks!

    The technology was up to date, however the payment for SMILE surgery seemed like a scam. I was initially told by the operation scheduler that the cost for smile was 220,000 rupees. However, he was reluctant to provide an invoice. After we paid 220,000 rupees they still did not provide the receipt. On the next day, another cashier gave an invoice of Rp 195,000 which looked legit. However, the following day the previous cashier asked us to return the bill receipt of 195,000 , and provided us with a invoice which seems forged. The stamp and the font used was totally different than all the other bills provided.

    Today visited this branch. They don't have proper payment facility in their pharmacy. They asked for cash payment or only google pay. How could everyone knows about Google pay or everyone has cash for buying medicines. The staff is not ready to give a proper reply.

    Doctors and technicians are thoroughly professional and provide kind service. Place is cleanly maintained. Ambience is very good. Only drawback is, people at reception are not having right information to guide patients to the correct floor at the right time. I had a feeling of being in a government office having been made to go to several floors several times to avail a particular service. During lunch time i was made to sit idle for more than an hour without being guided to go through the tests planned. Hope this issue would be rectified by management soon.

Agarwal, Dr. Amar Agarwal, Dr. Sudha, Dr. Palanivel and their team of doctors and staff for their personal care, advise and their knowledge and expertise over all these years. I feel truly blessed in every respect to have them guide me over these years.

    Hospital activities are good. Procedures are good except front desk whose duty is to inform patients whether review after surgery after one month is chargeable. I think it is a failure on the part of front desk to inform. The patients neatly when they are giving next date of review. Balance all good.

    I recently did my squint correction surgery, i was referred to this amazing team by one of my brother Mr. Anand ( OT manager). The whole team was so kind and caring ! Mr. Asif guided me throughout all the procedures with patience . Dr. Manjula ma’am and her team was a star as usual. So kind , made me at ease , explained the procedure well. Ms. Nivetha was so caring explained regarding medications clearly and took extra care . And last but not the least the OT team = AMAZING , sister Pramila was the biggest star she made sure that throughout and after the procedure i was in comfort . Mr. Mohammed did a painless cannulation. Dr . Manjula ma’am skills were so lush i felt like i went to a picnic not a theatre. It was my first surgery in my life . And i was an amazing experience . I would strongly recommend this hospital and the team. Thank you all for your amazing care. Forever grateful .

    I am satisfied with ur service with few riders.The hospital lounge is nearly 69 ft length and 35 ft width, hence the staff who are calling visitors name for various preliminary tests not audiable because of the visitors conversation with ech other.Please call the visits thro mini microphones particularly first table, second table and room. No. 2,3,4 etc.Further when the eye drops poured for dilution of the eyes, the attendant may be advised to inform the visitors to wait for a particular time for further update and maintain the seniority, it is not being followed now. Today I myself was the victim, for both eyes the dilution period could be one hour it is learnt.Some strict instructions may be issued to the ground staffs, to safe guard the times, which is precious in the Metropolitan City, because the visitors are visiting from one end to another end and they will have to reach again, since the visitors are having high faith in your institution, and this is your duty to safeguard it, which I brought to the notice of your good self, in the common interest.The ground staff is voice is not able to travel more than 10 ft I hope my message may invite the kind attention of the high command. Don't thro it to the dustbin.

    Worst service. booked appointment for senior doctor but they sent me to a junior doctor who couldn't identify the problem. I Travelled more than 2000 km to see a senior doctor. As I was new patient I couldn't identify the doctor. Came to know her name after getting the prescription. Worst service

    Indeed equipped with experts and modern technology. Had my whole family scheduled for consultation. All was done so efficiently and effectively. Staff were so helpful especially Mr. Karthik from Optical Services who went out of his locating my kids glasses from Uber that seemed impossible...even personal delivery to hotel was done. Can't thank him enough. Really happy overall with service, assistance, expert advice and reasonable fees.

    Went for pediatrics eye checkup. We waited for almost two hours. When it was our turn, they realised that the kid's eyes weren't dilated. They asked us why I didn't ask for dilation. As a patient, how can you expect me to know that the next step is dilation. We had to wait for another hour after that, only to be told that the doctor has left. We were attended by her assistant. I understand it is a weekend. If you are under staffed, pls address that. Or else pls limit appointments to the number that you can handle. Having a kid wait for more than 3 hours and expecting her to corporate for the checkup is not possible. I wasn't even given a 6/6 prescription for the kid. How can I purchase glasses knowing that glasses is not going to give her 6/6 vison ?

    100% full satisfaction I have, including reception staff to attending doctors all are very cordial and having updated knowledge. All places including restrooms and canteen all very hygienic. All AC units are functioning well .Any possibility of reducing Waite time in the hall even though systematic Q system through system online are followed that too on appointment patients are only inside.

    Such a worst parking facility here. If you don't have parking space, then you should accept wallet parking. When I requested for the wallet parking, the security and drivers at parking space asked me to go out and park somewhere outside. As I needed to provide my blood test ontime, these guys were declined to get my car for wallet parking. Even I went out and came back in 15mins, again the same old story, parking securities and drivers declined to accept wallet parking and forced to go out. Frustrated experience. I don't recommend this hospital.

    Excellent hospital for optamology consultation. Good experienced doctor's and attendent make it feel comfortable visiting them. Good spacious lobby and comfortable furniture for waiting. Good parking facility available for both two wheelers and cars. It would be nice, if canteen facility for patients is available at an accessible location within the premises. Only a coffee outlet is not sufficient

    I came to Alwarpet branch to check my daughter's vision. Mr. Anwar , in optical department explained clearly about the special glasses for my daughter. He also helped me to get the glasses quickly. He followed up with me throughout and I am so satisfied with the support he provided me. Thank you Mr. Anwar and Ms. Indra.

    Hospitality is appreciable. Though the appointment timings are not met exactly owing to crowd hope in future they can regularise that without keeping the visitors in waiting for an unduly extended time. Late by nearly one and a half hour. Otherwise the doctors ,assistants all are friendly and explain in detail the observations and clear our doubts of the procedures or treatment. There is no coordination among various departments I suppose. I got a message from the clinic that my order for the new spectacles were ready. When I sent my person to collect I was in for a shock to know that I'll be informed once it's ready. What a high level carelessness. They are insensitive and cause a waste of time, money and efforts. So much of negligence shown in coordination will make everyone to choose another place for ordering specs. I would reduce my star valuation by 1 point for this high level.carelessness

    Thanks. The care in the children's ward is excellent. But they said that they have made several bookings in the last ten months in the booking system for adults and all of them have been cancelled. Bookings canceled in the first month may be confirmed in subsequent months.. otherwise priority may be given to them. But even though we re-registered, they canceled it and made more waves.. Due to this, I transferred some of my relatives to Aravinda Eye Hospital.

    Right from entry point to exit, I had the privilege of true royal world class treatment. Front desk, doctors and technicians were extremely empathetic and so cordial. My only problem was being a CGHS referral patient, proper prescription was not provided. When contacted over phone, within no time system generated medical report was forwarded to my mail id. Parking was an issue, and I feel it is a grey area. Thanks for the personal care.

    I saw the services in this hospital deserve very good appreciation. The supporting staff are well mannered humble and efficient. The consultants are thorough with examination and confident with diagnosis and treatment.l got my IOL implantation done here recently and Iam fully satisfied with the result.I recommend all my friends and relatives for treatment in this hospital. At that time we came to Agarwal hospital TTK road chennai. At that time Gnanavel bro and Prabhu bro both gave good directions and he took and went to Balasubramaniam sir he checked my father the way of treatment and way caring is too good I never see this type of hospitality any ware Thank you Gnanavel bro thank you so much for your help and caring 🙏❤️And my father is doing good now.
