This place is a historical place of Peshawar. It was built by a king during the Mughal rule. And persists to this day. Every government of Peshawar has done some work on it but under Imran Khan's rule this place was made even more beautiful and encroachments around it were removed so that the beauty of this historical place is maintained and every viewer He found this place even more beautiful. Fish are also available at very low prices near Ghanta Ghar. The clock tower is located in the middle of Peshawar and is close to Qissa Khawani Bazaar.

This tower was built in the memory of locals who fought in World War. The tower is at crowded place, so don't mistake to bring your car in the market. You can almost everything from the nearby Bazar.

Apart from the historical perspective, this place is famous for the fish market. You can get fresh river water fish at a very reasonable price. There are shops which sell fried fish also, they are try-worthy too.

A Historical and very congested place, locally named as "Ghanta Ghar". There are almost every type of bazars around here, like Fruits, vigetables, meat, fish, electronics, ladies shopping markets, spices, food stalls, tea stores, general stores, and other home appliances. Rates are also moderate here. Whole sale dealers. In fact a good market place in all aspects.

Also known as Ghanta ghar. Best crowded place, clock tower where you find Fish market, Shaheen Bazar, food street and many more. You can see old age houses 🏘️ made of wood with a good hand work over wood.

A historic place to watch but mostly crowded. Fish marker is there too so the smell is obvious. If you wanted to explore this tower in peace, you better visit this place in late night or early morning.

Designed by James Strachan, the Municipal Engineer of Peshawar, the foundation stone was laid by the George Cunningham, Governor of the North West Frontier Province (now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) in 1898. It was opened to the public in 1900 to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. The construction of the building was funded by Balmukand family. Cunningham served as the governor of the North-West Frontier Province three times, twice during the British Raj and once after the creation of the Dominion of Pakistan. After his second term ending in 1946, Cunningham returned to Britain. However, he was invited by the colonial government in July 1947 to return and resume the office at the request of Pakistan's incoming governor general Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Sir Cunningham Clock Tower is one of the oldest places in Peshawar. Quite a lot of buildings are still preserved and intact which belong to the same era of the tower. Lots of hustle and bustle is present specifically at night. A lot of Fish shop are present around the tower as well as traditional Kehwa and barbecue. Lights and beautiful lamps were installed to beautify the streets leading to this historic place, however most of them are now out of order and only a few are illuminated at night. This place can attract so much more visitors if the administration pays a little attention towards cleanliness and beautification of the streets in and around this historic landmark.

Now a days, still my elder brother runs a shop in mina bazar.

It is a historic place also called clock tower the old government created I really beautiful food street with it. But could not maintain the beauty of the food street due to which it is now not the way it used to be its shape is completely destroyed and ruined. Fish shop present there that is ruining its beauty that should be removed from the place so that it becomes more beautiful the way it used to be.

The historic Sir Cunningham Clock Tower commonly known as Ghanta Ghar has been a symbol of Peshawar's past for many years It was built by engineer James Strachan and funded by the Balmukand family in 1900, and is named after then-Governor of the North-West Frontier Province Sir George Cunningham. The Balmukand family migrated to Amritsar, India following the Partition of British India, where they now operate a food company under the brand 'Clock Tower' The Cunningham clock tower stands as a reminder of the rich history and culture of the region Inside the clock tower, one can find artefacts and images from the past that tell the story of Peshawar's history Visitors can take a look at portraits of Sir George Cunningham and James Strachan, as well as photographs of Peshawar fire brigade's old vehicles and other historic landmarks. The city of Peshawar is a great source of historical richness. Its clock tower offers an incredible view of the city and its numerous historical sites like the Qila Bala Hissar, Gor Khatri archaeological complex, Qissa Khawani Bazaar, the home of Raj Kapoor, and the bustling markets of Peepal Mandi. The Kabuli Gate, one of Peshawar's 16 historical gates, is located in close proximity to the clock tower and can be seen from its peak. Visiting the clock tower allows one to take in the sights and sounds of each of these fascinating places and it can easily be done in a day's time Overall its the best place to visit Thanks
