Shalimar garden is a beautiful place for visit. It was set up by Mughal Emperors. Silent place but nice sound of birds really amazing here to listen here. For family picnic it is a good place, family can bring their food from home and have here a good time....

Created in 2013-2014 in Shahi Bagh Peshawar, it is beautiful park & garden to visit and I am very surprised to see the condition and facilities at this garden because in 2012, the same place as part of Shahi Bagh was in terrible condition. Used to go there in my young age in 1990s for early morning walk.

Shalimar Garden, Previously Known was Shahi Bagh garden is a Historical Place in Peshawar which has Roots Back to the Mughal Emperors. The Garden was In a Bizzare Condition untill ANP government in a Province turned it to the Visiting Place for the Public. People Often visit here with Their Families to enjoy the Beautiful Sights of the Garden

Shahi Bagh is a nice place for outing, exercise and entetainment. Many people come for photography purpose and spend time here.... Whenever visit this green and relaxing garden (Shalimar garden) I feel awesome here....

Shalimar bagh is a historical garden. The government has invested a lot of money in building it. But they have failed in maintaining the environment of the garden. I will not recommend traveling there with your family.
