Amazing experience and ambience. You can get the vibes of the old city and the surroundings. The food is good. A bit pricey but definitely a place to visit once. Plenty of open and closed sitting space and separate area for families. Expect a wait of at least an hour for your order to be served which is common in all shinwari restaurants. The taste is average but I was impressed by the energy and atmosphere. Menu is simple, you make your choice of meat and get it cooked in form of barbecue or karahi. They also have chicken sajji which is not very impressive

Traditional Pashtun Culinary Skills applied to Mutton & Beef. Includes items Karahi 🥘, Tikka😋😋, must try. The smell all over 😍 wow You can order meat 🍖 by your choice and watch the whole process from slicing to cooking. This one is one of the oldest and renowned places in Peshawar to try meat with amazing taste. The place name has become a brand. Prices andlong waits are worth the taste. Seating arrangements on traditional wooden 'Charpoy'. The place has frequent visitors fro across the country and abroad. I believe, if one comes to Peshawar must try all the different Culinary tastes 😋 😋 around the city. Enjoy your food but Don't waste it 🥳

This place is overrated. Wait time was over 2 hrs after placing an order. The food was so so. Nothing exceptional. I was constantly lied about getting my food ready. It's not a place for families or bigger groups. They were busy serving individuals or smaller groups first. Very bad setup for such a pricey meal. Cutlery was old. It's not the most hygienic place either. Total waste of time and money.

I’ve had dinner here twice. Their taste is amazing and great sitting place for gents and families. Loved the ambiance totally. Just one thing: be cautious and do not assume that everything served along with main course if complimentary. They charge for roti, salad, raita etc.

Nisar Charsi Tikka is one of famous restaurant in Namak Mandi. We tried Mutton Karhae and this was delicious and Hot naans were amazingly tasty. Mutton BBQ is good and must try! The meal must be ended with Kheer and Khawa!!! They charge 2700 PKR for 1 KG of Mutton Karhae.

Heard of NYC ghettos? Its one of those places. Set in Peshawar, KPK, the place offers traditional lamb and goat cusisines. Amazingly, u get hash cigarettes on the house. So get high on the pure hash and ravish the meet.

Seating arrangement awesome. Entrance is very attractive for new comers because of it's special design. Best thing about this place is that they cook fresh mutton (Selected by guests). It's taste is at another level due to using of Salt instead of other un-healthy chillies etc.

Highly impressed with the quality of Nisar Charsi Tikkas. Tikkas were better than muttom chomps. Mutton Karahi was also good, chicken karahi was OK. Haven't tried their Chicken Sajji so can't comment on that yet.

Heard a lot about this place… I travelled to Peshawar specially for a Dinner at Nisaar Charsi Tikka… Taste is Good…But it is better if u already inform the waiters/staff(At the time of giving order) That the meat must be Tender… So you can enjoy at full swing… They served us the lamb meat, taste is very good but meat is not tender…

The taste is good if you want a feel of real peshaweri cuisine but if you are a BURGER BACHA, this place is definitely not for you.Open air sitting for gents (charpoys & dastarkhwan) and a Hall for Families. Chicken tikka/karahi is 800 per kg Mutton/Dumba karahi is 1800 per kg Karahi is cooked in LAAT(Dumba's Fat) tomatoes, green chilies and Himalayan salt only and the taste is really different than what is offered in regular restaurants. Tikka is only coated with Himalayan salt no extra masla. Taste 9/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance Family Hall 5/10 Open Air 10/10 Hygiene 0/10

The experience was awesome. Mutton Karahi was hell from the heavens, out of the world. The flavours of mutton were overwhelming. Along with karahi, I ordered mutton bbq, meat was a bit chewy but it was worth it. The hostility was out of this world. And not to forget Tea was fantastic. PS: If you are lucky you can meet Nisar Charsi yourself, he usually sits there in the evening.

I visited this restaurant for having dinner with my friend, sitting place is good and relaxing, we ordered mutton karahi, although meat wasn't cooked very well what we needed, I think this was because of gas shortage in that area, but upon our request they cooked it again and our final meal was ready in 15 minutes later. Naan was also delicious.

Great place to eat mutton. We ordered charsi tika and mutton karahi In my opinion tikka was better than the mutton karahi You can order food on phone call before going there to save time as it takes almost 50 minutes prepare your order The food was served as soon as we reach there so the service was excellent, very quick and cooperative. Overall it was a great experience. 100% recommended

Aaaaaahhhh... Nisar Tikka... it is actually just a Tikka joint but the charsi thing isn't really a charsi spot. Really good food, had Arabs sitting next to us on a charpai!!! One was from KSA & other was from UAE and chatted with em. Great experience and great food! ❤

Nisar Charsi Tikka is not just a restaurant its a feeling, there is no better place to have a lamb karahi like this anywhere. Chicken karahi is also very delicious here. However the environment for males is a bit noisy and not that cozy as you would expect in any Good restaurant. The seating area has a typical pathan hujra look which suits it a lot.

This is the absolute best shinwari in the world. It's famous for a reason and the reason is very simply that the taste. The place itself is very basic and usually quite crowded too. It takes them over one hour to prepare the food and the service although considerate can a little slow. However, the taste simply cannot be beat. Both the tikkas and the karhahi are to die for. We travel to peshawar just for this and its worth travelling for.

Lamb Tikka and karahi is something else 😋 10/10. Must visit a place for food lovers. Located in the heart of Peshawar. Though we reached late around 12 am, but luckily we have ordered the food before. Closing time is 12am. That was my first time in Peshawar with friends. People come here from very far places just for the sake of eating. I would love to go again someday whenever I get a chance. Nisar Charsi Tikka is a delicious and flavorful meal that is sure to please anyone looking for an amazing taste experience. Overall, Nisar Charsi Tikka was a real treat, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and flavorful meal. Nisar Charsi Tikka from Peshawar is an amazing dish that is sure to tantalize your taste buds and leave you wanting more. Great experience 👌 Highly Recommended 10-10.

Great taste and quality. It expensive in terms of value for money. 2kg Meat dinner costed 7600 Rs. On 5 november 2023. If you spend 7600 in Islamabad you ll get better sitting and ambiance/experience. Parking is not friendly . There was a huge parking lot nearby but it was full. Luck based parking.

Peshawar is historical city so everything in Peshawar has a history behind it. When i visit Peshawar my beloved friend Nawab Khan Recommends me a delicacy of Peshawar which is Famous in All World Called " Nisar Charsi Tikka " So we taste them and experience a unique taste which i never tasted before in my whole life. So i recommend personally whenever you visit Peshawer must be taste this Ultimate Delicacy. You will never forget the taste of Tikka . This Tikka mostly made of Lamb Meat, they made small shots or boti of meat and fill them with lamb fat and cook them on smoking coal... So finally they cook in their on Juice or Fat and arose their own taste.

Definitely the best meat cuisine I've had in my life. I travel to Peshawar specifically to eat this. Keep in mind it's a little tough and the only condiment used is salt. But the taste for a true carnivore is simply mind blowing. True to its name, once you eat it you would want to keep coming back for more

I'd say that it's overrated. I visited the place in February 27,2021 . Staff attitude was very rude and were not cooperative ,maybe due to so many orders. After waiting half an hour ,they served tikka and karrahi and the worst part was that it wasn't cooked properly. It was so hard to eat the meat that me and my family have to leave it. If you can't speak pushtu or you don't have pushtu speaking guy with you , don't visit this place ,there are plenty of other shinwari's in this line.

Not Recommended. totally disgraceful. I complained about Uncooked food and hard meat but staff was rude and have aggressive behaviors. Complained directly to Nisar about his poor quality food and found that he is a mentally upset person. He started shouting and threatening us that why we complained about his uncooked food. they are kind of looting people by creating hype on social media and all presence on social media does not reflect with their service. better stay away.

I had a very bad experience at nisar charsi we did all our gatherings at kashmali shimwari restaurant in opposite to main mosque of namak mandi. I personally advice and suggest to all of you to visit once and you found it thousand time better than nisar charsi. Believe me nisar charsi is just a name

Great hospitality located in the heart of Peshawar Host gave us a 10min review of his own place, and was very welcoming Unfortunately for all the hype and media, this place is only worth a visit for the name of it. Liver starter was the best part of the food lamb chops were too chewy and not flavoursome. the Curry was again undercooked and never had the best taste. when we gave our feedback they mentioned that we should have told them to cook it for longer, but by then it was too late.

truly awesome, every bite is outclass, equally deserves its fame, perfect value for money.. takes round an hour to serve as its cooked from raw.. No fancy spices just basic ingredients. If u plan to come to Peshawer, do try it..

Flavour of the Karahi was excellent however the meat was chewy and the naan wasn't fresh. Takes at least 30 mins to be served although the seating and ambience behind are great. No menu available and difficult getting service if you can't speak Urdu or Pashto.

Nisar charsi restaurant is a famous and best restaurant of Peshawar for spicy & recipy mutton, and lamb tikka. It's located in namak Mandi Peshawar. This is the most famous restaurant of KPK. Almost known by every one around Kp. It is famous for its unique taste of mutton recipes etc. But we had not a good experience during our visit according to our expectations . Parking is the big issue around all the area. They also do not have good seating capacity, we were being kept awaiting for more than 30 mins because of less area with them. That's why I m giving it 3 stars only.

  • 1/5 Muhammad Adeel K. 3 years ago on Google
Order over the phone is not recommended. It will break your teeth. I don't know if there is any specific way to order them and make them good Tikka and Karahi. I know it's famous. But I think this level of cooking and ignorance will lead to towards fall of Nisar Tikka name.

  • 5/5 Muhammad Jawwad K. 2 years ago on Google
If you are looking for authentic meat karahi then this place is a must visit. We visited in day time and the area is kinda congested, you can give your car to the people there (local Valet) for parking. Upon entering, you will be required to select meat (how much and what part) . And then you may cook it either Charsi tikka or Karahi. We tried both but the karahi was the winner. The tikka was too dry but worth trying once if you are going there. There is a place to eat indoors on the upper floor and lots of outdoor tables if you visit in night time. Just know that it takes around 60 minutes for the food to be ready. Finish the food with some green tea.

Nisar charsi is a great place to rest, have a massage, drink qehwa before you can dwell into the most amazing dumba meat ever... Tikka is amazing, and the karahi is to die for. Although they take alot of time to prep the food atleast 1 hr or more due to rush, so order first hand all u want, the BBQ station is very small compared to the seating space they have, karahi cooks in its own fat and very less tomatoes.. Taste is beyond anything I have had in Pakistan.

  • 3/5 Anil S. 2 years ago on Google
We waited for almost 1.75 hours, yet the served bar b q lamb chops and Karhai meat wasn't tender at all. And the taste itself wasn't that good either. I would rather spend the same amount and have better karhai at Kolachi or Spice Bazar.

I visited this place about 3 weeks ago. The best karahi I ever had in my life the way it melts in your mouth is undescribable and unbelievable and you can't stop eating (at least I couldn't). Ordered 1 kg karahi with tomatoes and 1 kg without tomatoes both were unbelievable. Sitting area was good but they took time to prepare was too much so if you are planning to visit there order ahead rather then ordering in the restaurant. Satisfied with the experience and will visit soon inshallah.

AOA, the parking space in back side is always full , so they parked our car on the road, (parking charges was 50). Take 50 minutes to one hour to ready the order. The taste was good 👍 , the sitting area was clean, but they need to discipline their waiters, No one ask us for something as we have to called them loudly, in the start we order for drinks they came after we finished, they are so many but we didn't recognised them as they don't have a proper uniform.

Great quality food, seasoned only with salt. The karahi is made in the fat of the meat with just tomato and green chillies the taste of the meat comes out fully with this technique. If you want lamb karahi or lamb tikka there is nowhere better in the world. It truly is a world famous restaurant!

They really give you the best experience. Friendly folks, also food is outta words. Note: Get there before 10pm they don't have meat after that.

I really liked the seating arrangement at this place it was proper desi style on the floor with big cushions. The floor is elevated from the original floor, and it's separated, so you are not sitting with random ppl. The food was average, and the charsi chicken was overrated. The service was great, took time, but they made it fresh. The place was quite clean and they had a usable washroom with both English and desi washrooms.

The best tikka I've ever had. This place is a must for any foreign tourist. The quality of food was excellent as well as the helpful staff. Family seating is also available. Prices are reasonable as well.

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Nisar Charsi Tikka Shop, and I must say it was a flavorful experience that left me satisfied ( also the kheer they serve as dessert is wonderful ). The service was prompt and courteous, and the ambiance had a vibrant and lively atmosphere. The only reason I haven't given it a full 5 stars is that the seating arrangements were a bit cramped, which affected the overall comfort of the dining experience. However, if you're in the mood for delicious tikka in Peshawar, Nisar Charsi Tikka Shop is definitely worth a visit.

Nisar Charsi Tikka is one of the best restaurant in #Pakistan offering amazing food with its natural flavour. Specially Mutton Karahi here, is best product one can have that is made in its natural flavour without adding spices or other food additives. To get best taste of mutton karahi, one have to wait for long. So if you are in hurry then I recommend to gave order on call prior to arrival here at Nisar Charsi Tikka.

The best Mutton BBQ ever! The meat was very juicy & tender and its combination with lamb fat made it very delicious. The spices were also perfect. We ordered green tea after the BBQ and it was perfect thing to drink after all the meat & fat. Service was also great - we got our food on time and servers were responsive to our needs they made sure we have everything we want. They also have really good seating for families. Overall, great experience and highly recommended.

Peshawar chersi tikka restaurant is very bad they are totally thief and they don’t care customer value, if you take 1KG tikka Karahi then you will get 750gm only even food was not cooked fully meat wasn’t melt just we felt they don’t want to deal with customers, the barefaced owner of this restaurant don’t accept their dishonesty as we have showed them about served meal. We got very bad experience, but beside of Nisar Charsi tikka is very good and they are honest. Can you believe this is 1KG Nisar Charsi Tikka.

This place is somewhat overhyped for its food. I tried their Lamb Karahi, which tasted excellent, but the prices have skyrocketed as the restaurant gained fame and became an internet sensation. I would recommend giving Redigul Shinwari's restaurant a try, which is located on the same food street. They offer much better quality at more affordable prices.
