It is loacted at shahi bagh near arbab naiz cricket stadium.its new name ia shalimar garden now.A good place in the heart of peshawar to enjoy with your friends. I Will not recommend it for families as it gets very crowdy at evening and many lofer types boys come there.specially on friday sunday and in Eid days. So i hope u can understand that what i want to say..It has a proper jogging track a mosque.. Shalimar garden is Created in 2013-2014 in Shahi Bagh Peshawar. Entry Fee is Rs 20, Parking is good enough..

Shahi Bagh is located in Faqirabad Peshawar. The literal meaning of "Shahi Bagh" in local languages is "The Royal Park". The total area of the park is almost 100 acres and was built during the time of the Mughals. It holds a significant recreational as well as historical value for the city and its residents. According to the government, the garden is a national heritage site and public property. Shahi Bagh is a very popular place among students. Students used to go for recreational activities in the park and even study in the olden days. According to Sant Kirpal Singh, who used to study in Edwardes Church Mission High School (Edwardes College) Peshawar writes that he used to take his book and study in the Shahi Bagh

Shahi Bagh is one of the beautiful, green and peaceful place at Hashtnagri, Peshawar. Shahi Bagh is located adjacent to the Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium Peshawar. You can enjoy here your time with your friends and family. Clean and green environment. There is crowd during after noon and evening. Masjid is also available.

Presently it is not worth to visit because of heavy traffic and crowed. Major part of the garden is used in building a college and a sports stadium. There is always a great rush inside the garden. Not a clean place to visit. Better to visit Bag-e-Naran situated at a distance of about 14 kms from the main city.

It's a great place for a walk, for study, for enjoying the lush green grounds and for exercise . The maintenance of the Shahi Bagh is good but the authority need to have some security inside the park and they should strictly not allow the people to smoke and throwing wastes in the park. Otherwise it's a superb place for healthy activities.

It is one of the oldest park of Peshawar. We used to go there few years ago. There was so much fun. But no land Mafia is totally destroying it. And now that area is fully crowded and due to traffic issues too, no one is willing to go there. Government must take proper action to make it beautiful and clean like it was before
