My boys grew up in the shopping mall when they were very little, they loved the frogs which were at a fountain in the middle of mall, and were now moved to a side corner. They could watch the frogs and fountains for hours without getting tired of. Amazing! 😇😇😀😀

It’s a pretty good shopping center. Has a lot of high end stores but not as must variety when compared to Westfield. Bathrooms are always pretty clean and there are spots to charge your car. Also the food options are not too bad.

Great shopping experience at Stanford Shopping Centre. This outdoor mall offers a pristine environment with well-maintained green spaces and even allows shoppers to bring their furry friends along. The variety of high-end shops including the iconic Louis Vuitton. Plus, the availability of both open and covered parking options adds convenience to the overall visit. Recommended for a leisurely shopping day.

Definitely a one stop destination for everything!! Located in the heart of Palo Alto, it is a Premier Open-air Shopping Center and delightful dining experience with more than 140 World-Class Specialty stores ranging from Luxury brand to Local favorites. Here at Stanford Shopping Center, many people came to enjoy extraordinary mixture of restaurants and cafes from Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bars, Chang China Bistro, Pacific Catch Westcoast FishHouse, to True Food Kitchen, Yucca De Lac, and so much more!!! Shop the European Street Market for the Freshest California Produce and Gourmet Specialty Foods. Breathtaking Gardens, Sculptors and Fountain accent the garden environment that many people come from all over the world to see. Whatever the season, it’s always beautiful, Fabulous, always magically in full bloom. Experience the Garden of everything. Stanford Shopping Center is Truly one of a kind experience!!! It was my first time here at Stanford, I’m absolutely in awe, and totally enjoying every moment! Two to Three hours here is not quite enough for us. There just too many things to do and too many to see!!!😎🥰

Lovely outdoor mall with plenty of higher end stores to choose from. Big department stores like Nordstrom, Macys, and Neiman Marcus anchor the smaller shoppes. Not a lot of shaded seating, only the outdoor public area near La Baguette, which seems to be the most popular spot at the mall. Parking is fine, not too difficult to find a spot. Some highlights include Max Mara Weekend, Velvet, and Vuori.

It is a place for people from all walks of life. Top to mediocre brands amplify the need to visit this open air market place. There's fresh breeze with blossoming of multiple colored flowers in full bloom of spring. Beautifully decorated and stylish layout adds color to lifestyle. Palo Alto and Stanford has this added color to it's already fabulous surroundings. Eateries and coffee houses were great, boutique shops had awesome things to select from and made the selection very tempting. Neat, clean and tidy washrooms were much appreciated and so was the security of the area. It was a treat visiting Stanford Shopping Center and would love to come back again with family and friends.

Delightful open air shopping mall with high end retailers like Tiffany, Shreveport, Louis Vuitton, Barberry, Nostrum, Neman Marcus, Tesla, big Apple Store and with range of restaurants etc. The garden is beautiful in the wealthy neighborhood and Stanford University campus nearby.

The quality of the products was exceptional, and the prices were surprisingly affordable. The store layout was intuitive, making it easy to browse and find what I needed. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring I had a great time shopping. This is my go-to destination for all my shopping needs!

Nice concept of an outdoor shopping mall. Fresh air + shopping experience are so cool. This is also a high end shopping center. They have lots of expensive brand shops here, but there are also some local stores such as Macy’s, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales. Many restaurants, coffee shops, boba shop and juice bar. I personally love the outdoor parts. Many available seatings throughout the mall with greenery. I spotted many types of flora here, too.

Very safe during COVID. Every store I visited took necessary precautions and monitored the number of customers in the store. Also, being as this is an outdoor mall, you quite literally get a little more breathing room. Recommended for in-person holiday shopping during this "pandemic winter"!

Nice place for shopping with international and renowned brands. Good place for eating too. The shopping center had restrooms and parking lot. All most all the eating outlets close by 9 o' clock except a few.

A nice outdoor mall where you can meander and do shopping. They have it set up do you can stay safe during these uncertain times and I appreciate that. Just needed to get out of the hotel with the girls since my husband is at Stanford for open heart surgery and it is hard to keep my girls (2&6) entertained in a hotel room. Will return soon.

A great option for upscale shopping during the pandemic. All of the stores follow covid guidelines well and I didn't see anyone without a mask when I was walking around. There is plenty of parking and it's also a good place to walk your dog

If you live nearby, a very convenient place for shopping, eating-out, and hang in-and-around upscale stores. Its starting to come alive after the COVID lock-down. Its vast and spread out through roads and parking lots. We often need GPS to find the right store, even while walking.

Luxury shopping mall next to Stanford University. Lots of expensive brand outlets. Very clean and has a nice cool vibe. I bought a couple of Apple products for my friends and relatives. Had a Nola cold coffee from Blue Bottle cafe as well.

Nice shopping mall. I came here with my daughter. I did not go with her to Nespresso. I sat on one of the benches and waited for her. However, I just took a few photos of the surroundings. I noticed they will have a new Japanese restaurant opening soon. It has been almost 40 years since I shopped at Stanford Shopping Center. It sure changed a lot. The only retail business I recognized was Macy's. Since I live in Alameda and I don't drive anymore, I doubt if I will be here for a shopping excursion.

Stanford Shopping Center is more than just a mall—it’s an elegant retail oasis nestled in the heart of Silicon Valley. With its open-air design, lush gardens, and a curated selection of world-class stores, this center invites visitors to indulge in a refined shopping experience. Dining at Stanford is a culinary adventure. Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, True Food Kitchen, and The Melt are just a few of the delightful options. Whether you crave a juicy burger or a sophisticated wine pairing, the center’s restaurants cater to every taste. Stanford Shopping Center is a destination for discerning shoppers, where sophistication meets convenience. Whether you’re browsing designer boutiques or savoring a gourmet meal, this center promises an unforgettable experience.

Great place to spend your afternoon with family. The mall is dog friendly, and outdoors, so if you want to walk around with things to look at and enjoy some dessert, highly recommend it. We always stop by pink berry when we go here. Also the La Baguette has the best Parisian sandwiches. Perfectly toasted and warm!

  • 2/5 Reshu A. 4 years ago on Google
Yes, it has most of the major American/ Californian brands but I dread going here. Something about all the brands here that all clothes look exactly the same, just the brand name changes. The shades grey, white and black dominate each and every store and everyone visiting the all also looks similarly dressed. I am aware how Californians have a relaxed fashion sense but it makes no sense to me to shell out top dollar for merchandise that looks the color of death. Everyone seems to be selling zombie colors and absolutely no life seems to sprout in any of the brands here. I've tried Banana republic, Nordstrom, Macy's, Eileen Fisher, Kate Spade and many more here but nothing seems enticing. People like it because it shouts sophistication and the who's who of bay area shop from here but everyone looks like the other person next to you. Nothing and no one really stands out. I am a fan of Colombian fashion, Korean fashion, Japanese styles, Parisian wardrobes but this mall is full of dull colors and patterns for me. I'd rather go to LA, New York or somewhere outside the country to shop than shop here. :/ That being said, the mall is pretty clean, store staff are mostly attentive and smiling and the mall is never full of mad crowd. Always an upscale vibe!

Nice mall with variety of stores. Nice flower plants through out the mall, looks pretty. There are Apple, Tesla and Microsoft stores. Also several high end stores. I haven’t been here in awhile but l was not disappointed! Years ago there actually used to be a Woolworths her, but not it is very upscale. I visited the Microsoft Store and they were extremely friendly and helpful for a 68 year old not too computer savvy consumer. Five Star Service!

Lovely mall and one of the only outdoor ones in the area. Most of the shops are able to stay open during Covid-19 since it’s outside. The restaurants here have outdoor dining patios in the mall to eat at. There is Bloomingdales, Macy’s, Neman Marcus, and many other stores throughout the mall.

The security team is amazing! I have had the chance to interact with them both when I worked at several stores in Stanford as well as having them assist me when I wasn't working. If you are there late at night they are pretty good about escorting you out to your car if you are a single female. If you need directions or you've lost a package they will also help you out with that.

I had a bit of trouble maneuvering around to try and find Starbucks (20 minutes at least) through the current building project. When I finally found it, I had only one thing in mind and that was to get a Tomato Basil Sandwich (I already had coffee earlier). They were out! So then, I walked over to their (mall) outdoor Farmers Market. I was disappointed that they carried small amounts of Organic Produce. I left with a yogurt (a store was attached to the market) disappointed.

I can't imagine any other place for a little retail therapy. On this occasion, with the continuous looming pandemic, Stanford Shopping Center is foremost an outdoor space, lending itself to a greater feeling of safety and ease of social distancing. I can't help but feel its proximity to Stanford Hospital is a positive influence. Of the other shoppers, I only saw one individual unmasked, revealing her true identity as Sloppy Sue (random name nonspecific). I was able to satisfy my need to drop a little cash (actually a credit card, but that doesn't sound as chic) without anyone invading my space. Parking, for once, was generous. A big hats off to the expert gardeners that make all the plantings show stoppers! Great photo ops!

A nice place for shopping with outstanding high end stores. A relaxing place without stress unlike indoor malls, specially safer in open air in individual separate stores. Many eatery spots with variety foods, but too bad all closed due to the pandemic. I saw people pick-up orders and eat at the benches. Seems like a nice picnic though, let put that way. Very well organized and clean and I feel safe with security staff patrol often in campus and the parking lot.

We went to pick our Curbside order from Macy's. We entered the parking lot opposite to McDonald and turned right. At the end just being the handicap parking in lane 2 are the Curbside parking for Macy's. I had pressed the button on the email to let Macy's customer service at Stanford know that I am on the way. After parking I put in the details and waited. It was quick and we had an associate drop the package in the trunk and he also closed the trunk on his way. It was a good experience for curbside pickup

Variety of high end fashion stores. There’s Tesla showroom which you can browse different models of EV. There are cafes, restaurants and the market sells fresh produces. Starbucks is right in the middle of the shopping center to sip coffee for a break.

One of the centers that I really like. I cant say it is the perfect mall since they miss some stores that I really like. But still have some great selection of stores and it is ALWAYS clean.

If you’re in the Bay Area and want to shop, this is a must visit section of the Peninsula. Stanford shopping center has a large range of shops from low end to high end, interspersed with incredible places to eat. It can get a little crowded on the weekends but great for a day visit. It is also quite close to Bryant street where there are amazing places to eat and Stanford where you can walk around.

Restrooms by Starbucks is the only one I know of and is dirty. Last two vsisits the family and mens room was closed. Not cool being that my 3 year old was aching. New buildings put in place and already see king crack down the middle of floor. Tesla charge on second floor

I was obsessed with the decor here. so many well groomed flower beds and gardens all around. Refreshing to the senses. There are high quality stores and good food. I visited the sprinkles here near the previous Tesla showroom and tried their salted caramel and I loved it.

The whole place was very beautiful and clean, but most stores here are on the (VERY)expensive side. I only recommend going if you have a specific store in mind or trying to buy expensive gifts/clothes.

Nice place to walk around, shop & kill time! Louis Vuitton needs appointment; otherwise, wait for 45min-1hr. We gave up! 🤣🤣🤣

An open air mall with lots of upscale shops. Really enjoyable to walk around. The landscape and floral set up is beautiful. Most stores are dog friendly. The parking can be a bit crazy during busy times but we always end up finding a spot.

Shake shack is in this shopping center. Don't come here on the weekends, service is horrible. Waited 40 mins for fries and cheeseburger 🤬 I got tired of waiting a asked for a refund. Came back on Monday st 1:50pm, but service was not great either. Paking is plentiful.

The best in town..no more to say. For shopping lovers you'll find what you need with regard that it is a small town so this mall fits the city herein. It have shake shak which I consider the most tasty burger in the neighborhood. It has lovely views and seating areas too.

Stanford Shopping Center offers an exceptional shopping experience. The open-air layout makes for a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. With a wide range of high-end stores, dining options, and beautiful gardens, there's something for everyone. The center is always clean, and the staff at various shops are courteous and helpful. Ample parking and its location in Palo Alto make it easily accessible. Highly recommended for a delightful day of shopping and dining.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Stanford Mall, and I must say it was an exceptional shopping experience that exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped foot in the mall, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The variety of stores at Stanford Mall is impressive, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences. Whether you're looking for high-end luxury brands or popular mainstream retailers, this mall has it all. I was delighted to find a great selection of shops offering the latest fashion trends, accessories, electronics, and more.

What a great collection of shops! The middle pathways consists of huge, colourful garden pots, artworks and outside seating areas. Understandably, devoid of shoppers on a weekday but perhaps full of life on weekends. I’ll time my next visit when hopefully it’s jumping of busy bodies ready to part with their dollars! I love to feel the energy of people rushing to and fro when in a mall.

It's conveniently located in Palo Alto with many upscale stores go here of you really want to feel poor I do! I actually go here for just a couple of places the Nespresso store and the P.F. Chang's they're both tip top! The shopping center has beautiful flowers all year long it's outdoors but in this California climate it's fine. All in all a wonderful shopping experience to make you feel poor.

Despite all the difficulties & hardships through thick and thin that came along the way, first of a very bad & terrible economy & + later the most awful 😔 😞 but also dreaded novel sars corona virus 2 ,this awesome & lively shopping center of a place is still open for business & barely standing it's ground after all these years. Cheers, & Kudos to you!! 🙏💪👍👌🤜🤛🙏

Excellent parking. Lots of food options. It was not as expensive as it once was. There are lots of well-off people with pearls and high skirts and heels in the winter. So lots of eye candy from those surgeries and tummy tuck lives are well seen here. But it's a great atmosphere. It's not totally Christmas here yet. There's a few restaurants and coffee shops here. Parking was fast. You pay only if you're here an hour or more.

High end, not-enclosed mall with mid grade (Macy's) and higher level stores lining the main corridors, which are clean, well lit and populated. Some of the narrow interconnecting passages are dark, not so clean and don't have the same high end vibe. One feels like hurrying to get out of there and into the mainstream, with the result that the stores in those spaces don't see much traffic. I also didn't get a sense of personal comfort, but perhaps that's just me. The warmth was missing.
