Parking is $11.50, however the machine was not working today so we got to park for free. The trail is beautiful and we got some amazing nature shots. My daughter and I loved the information signs along the trail that gave us information about the trees, how the stones arrived in the area and other info about the local wildlife. Biggest top I have for novice or even older hikers (DON'T FORGET YOUR BUG SPRAY)! lol

Beautiful, relaxing ,park with 2 walking trail loops. Pet and family friendly. Bathrooms are open in the spring summer fall. There is a lovely picnic area for lunch or a great place to pop up a canvas and paint.

Beautiful park for a short walk. I really enjoyed walking through the long trail. I took my time and and struggled to make it last longer than an hour while I waited for my car to be serviced across the street. Close to highway so there a bit of road noise in the picnic area but otherwise a good spot for that.

Great provincial park for a short 1.4 km or 900 m walk into a 200 y.o untouched forest. Thank you to the Burnham family for donating this land for the people of Ontario to enjoy.

Forested trail with a smaller and larger (with short uphill portion) loop. Parking is currently closed and the trails are still a bit muddy. We enjoyed reading the signs. Spotted a small snake and some birds - you'll definitely hear lots of spring activity!

Small little provincial park that takes about an hour to explore completely. Great place to stretch your legs. Unmanned so you can purchase your pass online or purchase the yearly pass.

Great nature walk just outside Peterborough. Not usually very busy so it’s quite peaceful. Nice place to walk the dog or just for an evening walk. Park is clean. Only complaint is the charge for parking but it’s reasonable with an Ontario Parks pass.

Such a magical place I've been walking through since I was a toddler. An incredible array of plant life, and fungi galore if you're into mycology! But BEWARE OF TICKS! I had a black legged tick bite me a few years back. Wear protective clothing! Also wish people would keep their dogs on their leashes as it's not an off leash park. Too much room for potential incidents.

The washrooms here have been so useful during the pandemic. Makes for a great little outdoor rest stop. Mosquitos are wild when it's wet. -- my original review referenced parking rates which are now outdated, parking is done via app now --

Small but very pretty. Nice easy walking trail, we did the big loop twice without breaking a sweat. Maybe don't bring a stroller though, you will be climbing a hill. Gorgeous old trees. We went off season (closed) so parking outside the gate was tricky but we made it work!

Nice trails and never encountered any off-leash dogs (for a change).

This park isn't huge but it's a relaxing and accessible hike. It's absolutely gorgeous in the fall and a really great place to see naturally growing Trilliums in the late spring.

Gorgous park. Lots of old trees and the trails are well maintained. Fall time is the best! The colors are beautiful. There are toilets and its an easy trail, can do it in half an hour if your in a rush, or take your time.

We took our 3 dogs. they were able to explore and race through crunchy leaves. We were hiking for 3hrs dogs were off leash entire time with no problems. There were 3 other cars in parking area but we never crossed paths with anyone so dogs were able to remain off leash. It is very beautiful here and I can't wait to go back!

Nice forest with trails. Pay parking meter was out of order. A few people had their dogs off leash despite it not being an off-leash park. There are washrooms at the entrance. Bring big spray!

Cool little park right next to Hwy. 7, on the way east to Ottawa. The park is on a drumlin, so interesting to see the differences between the north and south side of this formation. Lots of great fall colours.
