The nice thing about this park is that it is suitable for kids of various ages. The smaller equipment will be fun for toddlers and the larger equipment will for kids older than toddler. The splash pad doesn't look like much, but it's got a nice variety of things that kids seem to enjoy. There's also a nice paved surface for walking and running, as well as bathrooms.

Going to this park for the Peterborough Folk Festival is always a good time. Small crowds of familiar friendly Peterborough locals. Lots of talented vendors, and tasty diverse foods to choose from. The hillside is great for viewing the stage. It's so wholesome.

Great Peterborough Pagan's Club House on site with facilities & bar which is open for all Men's, Women's Pagan's Rugby games & is also used for Birthday Parties,Stags ,Jack & Jill's etc. The playing Field is in good shape & kept up well. The Field is also used for various Local Company picnics with A Nice water & play park for kids. There is also washrooms on site that are kept clean for events but do need to be upgraded by the City.

I go there often..has a circular roadway so I try to walk it at least 3 x a week if not the zoo . I take my grandson there to practice his driving and parking perfect place for learners . I take my pups there to run around outside and far away from the children's play area ...good place for sports or just a fun game of ball or freezbee..good for picnics and family get together also has a water works for kids which is great for kids and parents free day out . And it's beautiful . Restrooms yes . And a big hill to roll down if u dare ..just don't wear white . And there is a walking path at the back and down the hill of the park . Bring ur running shoes . Enjoy

Beautiful park with very beautiful trees. We are here for the folk festival which is amazing. Great free music in a very beautiful environment. Lots of parking here as well. Had no problem to park even though the park is super busy because of the festival.

Here for my sons rugby game. It’s a nice park and field. Lots of parking. One thing that can be improved is the in and out of the park as the roads are narrow and there is only one way in and out of the park

Really nice playground for kids of different ages. Smaller play structure for little kids and bigger one for the older kids. Great splash pad, lots of benches and a public washroom near by.

Peterborough's Folk Festival is absolutely the best once yearly event on the sweetest spot on a hill in Nicholls Oval Park. Peterborough and surrounding area folk come yearly to see top bands in an intimate setting with a river in the background of the stage and dancers dancing and kids running around infront of the stage. Worth the outing! EnJoY! & ChEeRs!

Local community programs often take place in this naturally beautiful park. A great place to stroll, play with kids & pets, picnic, or just meditate.

Seems like a great place to go for a walk, hang out with friends, and take the kids to play. Decent amount of Pokemon Go stops and spawns and a few gyms. Bathrooms on site were smelly but visually clean.

For an in city park Nicholls Oval Park is Quite Large! With a small handful of paved pathways and plenty of green grass to run around in there is plenty to discover, you could stand by and admire the Dam in the river, you could have a picnic and feed the ducks, you can do what I do and Fish off the shore just North of where the day rests. I noticed a bride and groom Plus wedding party doing photos here 2 weeks ago, it's a beautiful opportunity for those seeking a change of scenery
