Arrived
during
evening
to
this
Travel
Inn
where
I
had
made
my
reservation
3-months
earlier,
and
they
did
not
honor
it.
Upon
arrival
into
the
parking
lot
I
realize
it
is
NOT
in
a
safe
area
of
town.
The
paint
is
chipping
overhead
of
the
entry-way.
A
bathroom
smell
hits
you
first-thing
as
you
open
the
door
to
enter,
and
the
place
does
not
smell
clean.
The
“manager”
was
very
unprofessional.
I
greeted
her,
she
ignored
me.
I
greeted
her
again,
showed
her
my
receipt
of
the
multi-day
reservation
I
had
made
and
her
reply
was,
“We
have
NO
rooms.
What
can
I
tell
you?
The
people
that
are
here
don’t
wanna
leave.
We
have
NO
rooms
for
you.”
They
did
not
honor
it.
As
I
was
leaving,
she
calls
me
back
and
says,
“we
do
have
a
room
reserved
for
which
the
person
hasn’t
shown
up,
and
they
paid
$800.00
for
it,
I
can
give
it
to
you.”
😂I
almost
fell
over
laughing
within
me.
I
said,
“
no
thanks!
I
wouldn’t
want
to
take
someone
else’s
room,
nor
do
I
believe
anyone
would
pay
$800
for
a
room,
and
even
less
that
they’d
want
to
stay
here!
I
think
you’re
doing
me
a
favor
by
not
honoring
my
reservation,
and
everyone
will
hear
about
this
trashy
place.”
I
made
my
reservation
through
a
connection
through
a
link
from
the
Southwest
Airline,
with
Bookings.com.
DO
NOT
EVER
RESERVE
A
ROOM
AT
THE
TRAVEL
INN
in
Petersburg/Ft.
Lee
VA.
NOT
A
SAFE
NEIGHBORHOOD.
After
I
left
I
called
the
Ft.
Lee
Base,
and
the
person
I
was
visiting,
and
they
assisted
me
in
finding
a
room
in
the
very
lovely
Hampton
Inn
in
Hopewell,
VA.
