Room smelled like cigarettes, I got asked for money by multiple people around the area. I was in the room for around 4 hours before I decided to leave and find a different place to stay just by the amount of cockroaches I counted crawling around. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

This is my experience and thoughts. Not all people use common sense. If you do you'll be fine staying here. Great place when you need someplace, to temporarily call home. Since I've been here have seen positive turn a round. Management may be strick and may seem to be unfair. They are working on keeping the flagship safe for all. If you know you can't follow their rules, or have respect, don't stay here. Since most troublesome have been removed, the illegal cooking stopped, the pests are under control. You may see a strangler or two (bugs), if you kindly report it, the office will have pest control out and spray. All I can say is that if you keep your room clean, follow the rules, and not cause trouble. You are good. If it wasn't for the girls in the office, the understanding of management and the maintenance guys we All wouldn't have a safe place to live. Thank you for all you do.

Wasn't in there 30 mins and we saw bed bugs. Told the guy at front desk. He sent house keeping and they verified bed bugs were in the room, I recorded it. Then front desk want me to get another room and wouldn't give me my money. Then he snatched my receipt. Next day rude owner denied bed bugs and wouldn't look at video nor give me my money back. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THOSE CROOKS

This was the worst hotel I've ever been to..This lace ade me feel unsafe...the dead bolt did not work and was damaged...it had no way to block out the beaming light into the room at night. I took a nap of 2 hours and felt like something was crawling on me..The bathroom was clean but needed update. After 12 hours of driving and 5 more to go ,sleep was needed..But I couldn't find it here.. Front desk attendant was nice , location was good. But no thanks..

This is the worst place I have ever been in my entire life. I wonder why the city of Petersburg, Virginia still gives them license to operate. It needs to be closed down. Dirty place with a lot of roaches and buds. Expedia should take this place out of their site cos it's very deceiving.

I have booked this hotel through Hopper on 31th of March and when I went there the lady working at front office was at the parking lot without getting of the car she asked if I had reservations when I said yes she told they had no availability and cancel my reservation, I tried to cancel online but couldn't Sent email to Hopper but when they reached out hotel , hotel stated that first refused to stay then no show not to refund my charge. My recommendation is ever go close to that hotel ..

The woman was nice and said you don’t want to stay here. The man in the lobby said the room’s ceiling have caved in. There were lady of the night there. Look outs sitting in the window.

Was shown two rooms one room had roaches in the bedroom. The beds were to close to the floor. The second room smelled like bleach and mold. There was no refrigerator in the room.

If your on a low low budget this might be your place. But in my book I wouldn't book a room here for my worst friend.

The pictures of FLAGSHIP INN Petersburg Va. Are all fake when you walk into the room a terrible odor knocks you down along with the heat because the ac unit did not work it was busted up. The floor looks like it had never been cleaned and stained with only god knows what. The toilet did not flush the sinks were filled with spit hair and who knows what else. My suggestion is to stay on I95 and keep going. Me and my husband did not even stat we slept in our truck. I can not rate any lower than a zero.

Desk clerk was nice when I came in.My room had roaches thankfully no bed bugs ,loud people with music off and on during the night loud as heck with thuds from the wall from people downstairs tonight, nobody ever gave me a towel or washcloth for three days so I had to use something else to dry off with, nobody has came to get my trash since I been here,door does not lock so I had to keep a chair in front of it.i did get some of what I spent back but it was a credit.All in all just book a hotel somewhere else because it's not worth it.

My Stay At Flagship Inn Has Been Nothing Short Of Unacceptable and waaaayyy below satisfactory..... Literally have been staying in a wasteland,   I'm a travel cna and I figured I should at least have some quality service... tonight returning to my room around 330 pm , My Power turned off and I was told I had to wait to get cut bacc on , there should be an emergency maintenance team on deck , because the man lives out here , If his power had tuned off he would be on it immediately  , why can't I have the same energy????? I've been living with trash appliances and no hot water but they expect a weekly payment when I'm literally living in a wasteland... I'm Not One To Complain  , But Unacceptable, If I Could Leave Zero Stars I Would

The room had an a.c. unit that was so funky, dirty and globs of dust in every crevice. Once I removed face of a.c. unit, 1,000 deadcockroa he's & other small insects were layed out inside the back face & in the a.c. itself. Not only thousands of dead ones however, thousands of LIVE cockroaches & small spiders, & insects. In every drawer & corner & window seal, behind bed, EVERYWHERE they were Alice or dead or millions of black specs from their feces & the shells of the cockroaches were EVERYWHERE!!! IT had old furniture that been torn out another room sitting right in front the door against the railing. The bedskirting not only was ripped along with the top sheet, they both had orangish rust spots all over.$50 on a Thursday afternoon for 1 night, 1 person, 1 bed, no refrigerator, no microwave .... ($230 weekly rate) I'm disabled with a service animal and was put on top floor hours before checkout, I hear knocking on the door like it's a S.W.A.T. Team using a batting ram just to ask am I checking out or staying? I was running behind on packing and checking out by mere minutes & the housekeepers (one female & one male) come into the room before I am finished & she grabs my tote and purse & tells me she's waking it down to my rides truck. They literally were putting my stuff outside the room on wet ground. The maid said the woman at desk wanted her to hurry. 4 black trash bags and a If u are desperate or ain't picky, do like me, being your own cleaning supplies & roach and insect killer, ur own towels/sheets/pillows/blankets, etc.

Oh I've stayed in that hotel before many many moons ago back in what was it 2006. It provided a roof over my head at that time in my life and so grateful. I went over there because a friend of mine and I went to hand out food to some of the residents. That is the only reason I visited that day it was not so that I could rent a room.

I've never had to stay here, not saying I never will. But for the amount of people I see here whenever I've given folks a ride. Get busy at remodeled! It doesn't matter where it's located, what your feeling are, or who you think the residents are...they're still paying you. So fix your establishment up....

Roaches, rooms not cleaned. Special needs child locked herself in the bathroom and there was no way to open door or pop the lock. Motel was worst of any hotel in Petersburg.

Very dirty and women are out there selling them self and owener don't care

Nasty roaches are bad nobody should live like that never have toilet paper u have 2 wait on sheet washcloth towels u get back what they wash they don't have extra

This place has real good potential to be more appealing...its pretty much like its own little city..its lit up bright at dark im sure its visible from space

Horrible experience. Arrived to find out my reservation had been cancelled without any notification. Just as well as the placed looked like a homeless shelter. I am better off, as long as they don't try to charge me for the stay.

OMG. Wasn't in the room for more then 2 seconds before I saw a roach. Looking around, it just got worse from there. Couldn't take shoes off as the floors were SOAKING wet WITH LORD ONLY KNOWS WHAT. ROACHES EVERYWHERE. Went to turn TV on out of curiosity, wouldn't turn on, moved the dresser(that was missing a door and several handles)to try and see if it was unplugged and there was trash and all kinds of stuff behind it. Paint peeling off the walls. Toilet HADNT been touched as far as cleaning. "Water" was yellow in it. Sat on the bed, and it was broke...almost fell to the floor. 3 of the lights didn't even have bulbs in them...what I am assuming used to be the paper towel holder had roaches in them...it was DISGUSTING. NEEDS TO BE SHUTDOWN ASAP! Checked out IMMEDIATELY and went to the Motel 6 down the street. $30 more a night but rooms were at least CLEAN. STAY AWAY! FAR AWAY!

This place sucks. Don’t stay here. Unless you only have $57 dollars to your name, continue your journey onto someplace else. Definitely the dumpiest place I’ve ever stayed. You can tell some serious stuff has happened at this place when you show up. Business is booming at this motel if you know what I mean. Chair, broken night stand, bed, broken tv stand, tv. That’s what was in the room. Definitely dirty. They don’t have a very good drywall guy also; lots of patches.
