Fluffy cheese crawfish omelet, home fries,a grilled biscuit and beignets. Some strong coffee to wash it all down. Staff and who I assume was the owner very eager to please you. I didn't order it, but I witnessed it being served... make room for something called confession cake. The serving size is huge, and it is popular...call ahead and reserve one for your table or take out.

Amazing food and service. We tried several of their dishes and pastries; none of them disappointed. Their portions are large enough to satisfy any hungry customer. I would recommend the heartstopper plate.

Went to this place to find out they are under new management with a name change as well (no longer DJ's Rajun Cajun) I ordered a burger and there was a wax paper wrapper balled up in the cheese.. manager didn't really seem that apologetic about it and tried to explain to me that they lone the pans with those wrappers... either was it shouldn't have made in on to my burger. My friend also found hair in her Mac and cheese. I will never eat there again. I also ordered the pineapple and sirloin kabobs, asked them to be cooked medium well.. they came out damn near raw

EXCELLENT experience at this Petersburg classic. Service was fantastic and timely. I had the Cajun Benedict and it was one of the best things iv ever had at a restaurant. My best friend got the jambalaya with a Caesar salad. The sausage was very flavorful and vegetables complimented it well. I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who is tired of waiting 2 hours to eat at Golden Corral and wants fresher, more flavorful food.

This food is amazing. I had the heart stopper, which is a grilled cheese cover in gravy and topped with egg and bacon. It was so good and will probably stop my heart. We also tried the beignets and bread pudding, which was delicious. Their gravy is the best. Definitely try this place out!

Great food, friendly staff, laid back atmosphere but feels ✨fancy✨. Had the chicken and sausage gumbo and it was delicious. Friend had a poboy and reported that it was also perfect. Can't wait to bring more people here!

This place is amazing! If you haven’t been here yet you absolutely need to. Staff are very friendly, food comes fast and most importantly it is DELICIOUS. First night we got chicken and waffles and came back the next day to get the same thing because we couldn’t stop thinking about it. Don’t let downtown Petersburg scare you off, this place is a must visit.

Truly enjoyed the music and the whole experience. The hurricane drink was delicious. The crawfish etouffee omelet was very good. We really enjoyed the alligator bites as well.

In Petersburg, Virginia this is a place worthy of your time. The food is good, the atmosphere is welcoming… indoor and outdoor seating, and great service. Our waiter , Brondesh, was exceptional. The Cajun pasta with blackened chicken strips was awesome.

We stopped in on a whim because we were walking the street and noticed two people walk out with amazing looking lattes. Everything we ordered was so good. Fantastic caramel latté! We got food and drinks. We loved it so much we went the next day and dined in. Food and drinks were so very good. The service is also fantastic. Highly recommend stopping in!

I'm going to give this a 4 1/2. Music wasn't the best but other than that GREAT !! Food was like I was in New Orleans or Baton Rouge. Service was 2nd to none. Everyone asked how our meal was and if we needed anything. This will definitely be on our return trip to Petersburg. Ok 5 stars.

I loved the experience honestly. Got a seat right next to the music and the food was great! Edit: I forgot to mention I went on the brunch schedule - so I don't know about the other menu items but I still recommend.

We had the peach mimosa.. on point. 10/10...the alligator bites were also good, I would recommend.. the crawfish tower was a bit bland.. wasn't really impressed. The gumbo didn't look too appealing... gonna give it another try because the mimosa had us feeling good😂 but next time we'll try the breakfast or dinner menu.

Great customer service, cool New Orleans vibes, good food and lively music. We arrived at 10pm and was disappointed we t²w was could only order from the limited late night menu.

What an amazing experience! The atmosphere, inviting. Food, freaking AWESOME. And Lance, true example of owning the moment. Even though the patio belongs to their adjacent (not yet open) business, he invited us to enjoy our breakfast with nature. If you don't know about this place, get to know.

My friends and I had just an okay experience at DJ's Rajun Cajun. There were several menu items that they were out of which was quite disappointing. The positive is that the atmosphere is cute, especially on the patio in back.
