Great place for small children with a easy trail to the pool. There are both small and large pools to swim in. There are ants on the ground so be mindful when putting clothes on the ground. This is place you want to visit in Dominica.

Beautiful pool and waterfall. The trail is well-managed and paved, fairly flat, not slippery (it did rain while I was there), and the steps are perfectly manageable. It took 10 minutes to walk, and the tour guides were around to assist older folks if they needed it. The platform is large enough to suit many people and there are tour guides who can take photos of you. The pool is cool and refreshing, and you have the option of walking up behind it. There is a little cafe with drinks and bathrooms and a room that tells you about the geology and history of the area.

One of my favorite spots in the area. Clean clear waters that are great for a swim. Lots of parking and some small souvenirs sold near the lot. This site is protected under UNESCO so you'll need to buy a government pass, either EC$5 for a single visit or EC$12 for a week pass, able to visit multiple sites. A quick 10 minute walk down a marked path. Very easy and peaceful walk until you reach a few wooden platforms at the base of the falls. Easy to step into the water and you can also walk up pretty close to the falls and behind the falls.

Beautiful slice of nature. You can swim in the pool that the waterfall cascades into, not really any facilities at the waterfall, but back at the entrance is a snack shack and clean bathrooms. Short loop trail with good views of the mountains. Go on a day when cruise ships aren't in port and get the whole place to yourself.

We stopped by during a good rain, it absolutely worth seeing but you definitely are going to swim and it's not emerald.

Dominica is so lovely with its natural beauty. Visited Emerald Pool and I loved it. The water is cold but once you get it, you do not want to come out. Very simple but nice visitor/ interpretation centre and a nice walking path with railings down to the waterfall/pool. It takes about 10-15 mins walk.

Beautiful!!! Water shoes not mandatory but advisable. You can take a lot of photos with your phone (action cam not essential). Easy hike.

This was a very picturesque place. The air is crisp and clean. There is a charge of EC$14 for entry. There are a few trails that take you to spectacular views.

Amazing place , easy walk with some steps to the pool and waterfall , wear water shoes the rocks are sharp, an extra towel is needed to sit on if you came on a tour bus

Beautiful place to visit. Short walk to the falls and pool. I would bring a swimsuit so you can get it. Suggest water shoes as rocks in some places are slippery. This is a must visit. Try to avoid cruise ship days or go early those days and it is less busy.

Go early! This is an easy 15 minute walk to the waterfall. The cost is 5 usd per person, but if you do more than three sites of the island, you better get the weekly pass for 12 usd. Emerald Pool is a MUST visit when in Dominica, beautiful UNESCO heritage site. Put on your bathing suit at the main entrance and do enjoy the refreshing water of the fall. Also, once inside Emerald Pool, on the right side you will see what looks like a natural kids pool where the rocks are brick red, and it's because of the sulfur, get in there and put some sulfur on your skin!! You will look younger in seconds! (You welcome 😆!!!)

Very cool little spot for a quick swim. Lots of people came on the tour which kinda takes away from the moment but definitely a must see.. the water is cold but refreshing! There's some steps getting to and from so not accessible for everyone.

The water is cold and clear, but once you get in 10/10. It's so nice and refreshing to be in. Onve the sun hits the water you don't want to leave. There is a short 10 min walk to get there but it wasn't anything to hefty. I have terrible knees but I made it!

Trail to falls is somewhat steep. well constructed, but you need to watch where youre stepping. Pool is very rocky with uneven surfaces. Best to wear old sneakers or surf mocs if you plan to dip. Water is chilly but pleasant, and going under waterfall is electrifying! Rain forest was refreshingly cool. Overall a

Really beautiful spot, if you get there early and avoid the crowds you have the whole falls to yourself. May not be worth visiting if it has rained as the water won't be crystal clear. You will need to have a site pass to visit this and many other of Dominica's natural wonders. I would recommend buying the week pass ( I bought mine at a gas station, not sure if that is standard) they are $5us for one day or $12US for the week.

This rainforest is a truly amazing place! The water is so refreshing to swim in. I definitely feel younger, and the waterfall force gave the best back massage ever! So beautiful .

Beautiful pool serene, surrounded with lush greenery and wooden walkway. Good for taking a swim, but take care because of the stones.

Wonderful place for a quick dip in under a waterfall. Easy 15 min walk down from the parking. Very refreshing

very nice and refreshing dip in the pool. A little bit of a climb coming back up but with the trouble.

I nice waterfall with a pool. The park has an easy walking trail down to the pool, for those who have mobility issues. If you do the full loop, you get two additional viewpoints which are nice and the park connects with the Waitukubuli National Trail. There are some local vendors in the parking lot, if you’re looking for gifts and souvenirs.

Really beautiful waterfall. Sufficient parking. An easy 5min walk down gravel pathway and concrete steps with handrails.

Nice place, ideal stop for a refreshing bath. Parking and getting to the waterfall is without problems. After the rains, the water is colored

Easy to find and an impressive day lodge with toilets, cafe, interpretive centre, paved parking lot. Must pay for parks pass at $5 US. Completely professional path and facility.

Was more chocolate milk than emerald when we went. Took excursion from ship and it takes longer to get there than we actually spent there. It is a 10 minute walk to get down to the pool. They serve food here and you can get souvenirs. Road to Emerald pools is narrow and twisty and could do with some paving.

Peaceful place. I visited it via bus and walked a bit. The bus was 5 EC per person from Roseau. Official tours charge a lot more. Make sure to walk the trail with the great viewpoints.

Breathtaking! A short walk in the jungle (5 minutes on gravel and a few stairs) will bring you to a gorgeous waterfall with a small "pool" where you can bathe (water is cold but so worth it)!
