Great music and atmosphere

Nice and loudly place - in a good way. Not a mishlen restaurant, but great choice for everything’s.

Very nice interior. Looks like a very popular place because it is full all the time. The bar in the middle divides the place into a bar/café area and a restaurant area. The food was nice, they had live music. Service tends to be slow and when the place was full it was very hard to have a conversation. It is quite loud in there. They were friendly, food was good and we had a nice evening. 4 stars

We had lunch at Casa D'Angelo as part of our Portuguese language school's tour of Petrópolis. It's location is ideal, directly across from a park right in the center of town and very close to the Imperial Museum. We asked the waiters for a main course recommendation and they suggested one of the many steak dishes. Most of us ordered filet mignon. I would rate the beef as just OK, but nothing special. I'd love to return to Petrópolis one day on a less hectic individual visit for R&R and as a weekend getaway trip from the craziness of Río de Janeiro, rather than trying to visit all of the historical and tourist sites in the imperial city. However, on that future visit, I think that I'll do a bit of research on other restaurant options in that lovely small city.

This is very old historical restaurant in Petropolis and it is located in the heart of Petrópolis City. With good brasilian food but and bar. But a little bit expensive.

Good vibe. Right on the corner in Petropilos. Great for people watching. Pizza was decent. And the beer is beer.

Excellent atmosphere and delicious food. The maître and the waiters are very kind. Try the D'Angelo's beef tornedor.

I'm usually not one too complain but the service was very poor.

Wonderfull bar and Bistro

Traditional place, recently refurbished, Caters to local residents and middle aged crowd. Focus is on simple dishes at the right price and draught beer {chopp} The pastels are very well made and perfect choice to accompany the chopp. As with similar places in Rio it too had to adapt to survive with a streamlined menu. Kudos for the ambiance, the nod to the past with wall photos, indoor patio heaters and prompt service. Good collection of wines on display to boot. Live music later at night which can get loud as is always the case in Brazil but helps bring the place to life. Will repeat.
