It was our first time in Petropolis and we were lucky enough to visit this restaurant as soon as we arrived in the city. The staff were extremely friendly and made sure we felt comfortable by being able to speak both Portuguese and English which made it easier for my partner (who is Polish) to choose his food. One of the table hosts Danny was very engaging which got all of us chatting and laughing about various subjects. We had a great time waiting for our food. If you are a burger fan, make sure you order the "hamburger de costela" - it was out of this word!!!! Well recommended. Lastly, the interior design is very rustic with some historical little touches all around the building - the restrooms are a little attraction of its own. We can't wait to go back there.

Tired of tourist traps and want to have a burger meal? Pellegrini is a no fuss place where the food is tasty, drinks are nice and the staff is attentive.

Pulled pork sandwich was excellent and the beer was very cold and refreshing. The staff was friendly with me even though I struggled with the language. Highly recommend!
