Very peaceful and place of serenity even when the summer sun is shining in the mid day.. The breeze, the stotram or devotional songs in the background take you away to the era of the Puranas.

This is a divine temple dedicated Goddess Durga. Famous as Mata Tripurmalini Mandir, it is one of the Shakti Peeth among other 50 Shakti Peeths. There's a story behind the establishment of this mandir that when Maa Sati sacrificed herself after her own father, Daksha insulted Lord Shiva, then Shivji performed tandav dance in anger with Sati's body in his arms. Then in order to pacify lord Shiva & save the universe, Lord Vishnu cut Sati Mata's body in 51 pieces & wherever the pieces fell on earth a Shakti Peeth Temple was established for the welfare of humans. Mata Tripurmalini Mandir marks the spots that received Maa Sati's right breast. It usually takes 4 to 5 hours to take a complete tour of the mandir. You can visit this temple with your family. There a Temple dedicated to goddess Kali and a replica of Amarnath Cave Temple has been added to the Temple Complex. It's a must visit place in Jalandhar. This temple is very popular among the devotees and is visited by thousands annually.

The well-known Devi Talab Temple can be found right in the middle of the city of Jalandhar. There is strong evidence to suggest that it is older than 200 years. One of India's 51 Shakthi pithas, this temple is devoted to the goddess Durga and is considered a Shakthi pitha. The representation of Lord Shiva that is housed within this structure is referred to as Bhisan Bhairav. The Devi Talab Temple underwent a recent renovation, during which time a lot of alterations were made to the previously existing edifice. In addition to that, a whole new temple has been built on the existing grounds of the temple. Even a replica of the Amarnath Yatra trek was built at some point in the past. Let's talk about the historical connection. According to the puranas, Maa Sati committed suicide by sacrificing herself in a fire because her father, Daksha, ridiculed her husband, Lord Shiva. This infuriated the god Shiva, who then uncovered his fearsome third eye and performed a ferocious tandava dance while carrying the body of his devoted wife Sati in his arms. The gods asked Lord Vishnu for help because they were afraid that Lord Shiva's wrath would destroy the universe. Lord Vishnu responded by sending his all-powerful discus, known as the Sudarshan Chakra, to cut Sati's body into pieces. Sati's body was then scattered across the universe. Every location on Earth that was fortunate enough to get a piece of Maa Sati's body eventually became a sacred site for devotion by devoted followers of the goddess. Devotees of the Goddess, who are also known as Shaktas, consider each of these locations to be sacred and honour them as Shakti Peethas. One of the 51 important Shakti Peethas that can be found on the Indian subcontinent is the Devi Talab Mandir. This gives the temple a unique distinction. The location where Maa Sati's right breast bestowed its blessing is now marked by the temple. An older Temple dedicated to the Goddess Kali can be seen just next to the larger Devi Talab Mandir. The temple has a structure that is similar to the Amarnath Cave temple that is located in Jammu and Kashmir. One of the primary attractions of the temple is an old tank that is revered by the Hindu devotees. The eyes catching time can not be overlooked, a View of the Temple at Night Particularly during the navratras The Mandir is stunning in its appearance. In point of fact, this location makes one feel at ease in their hearts. The structure of the Temple is very similar to that of the Amarnath Cave temple that is located in Jammu & Kashmir. Devi Talab Mandir. The "Harballabh Sangeet Sammelan" is held at the temple on a yearly basis during the month of December, and it is the primary reason for the building's widespread notoriety. In the month of December, when one can also take part in the festival, the temple is at its most beautiful and enjoyable for visitors. This event brings together some of the most renowned vocalists and instrumentalists in classical music, and they perform for the attendees. People will have the opportunity to hear some of the most beautiful music ever created, sung in a lilting manner by renowned singers from all over the country. This is one of the few opportunities of its kind. Finally it is Really peaceful place. Must come and experience by yourself. Jai Mata Di 🚩🚩

I love this place.. whenever I feel off or wanna visit a place to relax I'll choose this place.. the atmosphere is calm... They even introduced small kids friendly rides, including a balloon house, as well , trampoline, mini kids rides like cars, Jeeps etc... There is a small pond in which the main temple is situated. There are various kinds of fish in the pond.. except the main temple.. there are small other temples.... You can also see some shops in the temple building as well as the rest place .... As I heard there is a small cave somewhere in the temple which I have yet to explore.

Excellent place to visit with family. If you wish to avoid rush hour then it's good to reach here by 10 AM, you can go around all the temples inside the premises. You can complete it in two hours and have fixed thali provided at @ 50/- at Annapurna Hall. The food was delicious and hygienic. There is facility of Dharmshala inside the temple premises if anyone wishes to stay.

Very auspicious place. This temple is built and maintained beautifully by the trust. One of the best thing is the different types of caves like Amarnath cave and maa vaishno devi cave. Annapurna hall provides unlimited and best quality food in just ₹50. The food is pure veg and very very tasty. Here the left breast of Maa sati fell. It is one of the 51 Shaktipeeth in India.

Very friendly and welcoming temple, lots of shrines and an interesting way to learn about Hinduism. They have a large man made holy pool full of coy carp and others were shy, which they deter people from feeding but they still do. Only slight negative was one of the shops tried to sell us bottled water that had already been opened but thankfully we spotted it, very cheeky.

Could be far better in cleanliness, hygiene and upkeep to make it a truly peaceful and serene religious place. The temple somehow lacks the truly divine atmosphere and that typical serene feeling of peace and bliss that it should have for some unexplained reason. The management should try to introspect and act accordingly to bring the necessary changes.

Good temple, good ambience. No restrictions on photography in most places. A good place to spend time with family and friends. A lot of temples and replicas of places like Vaishno Devi and Baba Amarnath Dhaam. Pond in the center of temple has good number of fishes and one can spot them if water is not too dirty. Overall a good place to visit in Jalandhar.

Devi talab Mandir is one of the must visit place in Jalandhar as it has temples of almost all Hindu god and goddess. It is spread in huge area and lots of temples is there. Atleast it will take around 2hours to visit the whole premises. Security check is at the gate and moving ahead shoe rack is available for everyone at free of cost. Replica of caves of Vaishno devi and amarnath dham is there and it will excite you there . There is small park which contains motor based swings and kids play area. Lungar is available here but has fixed timing. In the centre of talab Goddess Durga temple is there. It's so peaceful. You must visit this place with family and it will make your day as it made mine.

Considered as one of revered Sidh Peeth of northern India is a wonderful place for ages, caste and creed. The lay out of the temple is great surrounded by numerous guest rooms well furnished and at a very nominal cost. The replicas of Maa Vaisno Temple and Sri Amarnath Cave are master pieces of innovation. At least we make it a point that whosoever guests comes to us, we take them there the same way we take them to Golden Temple at Amritsar. Temple is being developed on continuous basis . It also hosts the more than a century old international fame classical music Mahotsava Hari Vallab in winter . Beautiful temple excellent and wonderful atmosphere I reached there at 8.30 am on 28 June 2022. Temple is very well maintained where as per shivpuran and shri Devi bhagvat, maa parvati's right breast portion fall here.(As per Pandit told me the mythology) The bhajans played in temple premises energizes and we feel calm and peace. Other temple of maa Kali as well as maa vaishnodevi and shri Amarnath is here. They have tried to produce real cave for maa vaishnodevi temple like original and similarly for baba Amarnath also Jai Matadi

Recently i got the opportunity to visit there. If you are in jalandhar then definitely do visit there. It is about 9 km from bus stand about 4 km from railway station. You can easily get auto from both the places. They charges decent but be aware as they charge more from tourist. you have to buy puja material from outside. There is ample of space inside temple surroundings. Almost every god temple's there. For me the main attraction was the replica of amarnath and mata vaishnodevi caves. They are just incredible. You need almost 3 hour to enjoy every things there. You can get food easily from anapurna hall at decent cost. However you can also get free food from langar hall. Overall it's worth to visit there.

For some birdwatching! Maybe corona and the lockdown has resulted in that change..drongos, babblers, kite, eagle, robins and a rofous treepie among other common birds! Happy :)

This Temple complex is built around Sri Tripuramalini Mata temple which is one of the shakthi peethams. It's said that the right breast of Matha fell here and hence became a shakthi sthal. Other temples in the complex are Kali matha mandir, the Gold plated Devi Talab mandir, which is amidst a pool, Ram mandir, Salasar Balaji Mandir, a replica of Vaishno mata gufa and Amarnath Cave (Shiv ling here is not of Ice, but looked like a limestone made.. white in colour. Not much rush, had darshanam in few minutes. Felt good, do visit this Temple if you happen to visit Jalan dhar. It's just 15 min drive from Jalandhar city. Hope this helps. Cheers!

Devi talab temple is a famous Hindu temple located in the middle of the city of Jalandhar. This temple can be easily reached by an auto from the city railway station. There is a pond and the temple is said to have connection to the ancient times.

Very nice place in Jalandhar, must visit temple. Huge place to spend around 1-2 hrs here, many are doing bhajans in the evening, which allows you to just soak into the holy spirit of the place. There are a couple of cave like temples created inside, which gives you a feeling of being in an actual cave, a very creative way to receive god's blessings. The Gaushala just outside the temple is a cow shed wherein you can feed them with eatables, please don't miss feeding these beautiful animals, you will surely feel good while doing so.

Devi talab mandir is quite famous in Jalandhar. One of the most attractive place in jalandhar. You can park your vehicles inside the parking arena. The mandir has alot to explore. There are many mandir inside this. Alot of attraction places where you can click your pictures. Easy to locate on map. Roads are very smooth and it is directly attached the main highway road with adjoins to asr-jld highway.

👍 Pleasant atmosphere with basic pious and sacred feel. The temple is neat but can be cleaner. Sadly, you hardly see priests here immersed in prayers. Instead one can see them busy on their mobiles sitting before their assigned temples inside Geeta Mandir.

👍 It's a pretty popular place among locals for morning and evening walks. There's a dedicated pathway for walking and plenty of green and open space for enjoying nature. A dedicated play area for kids and toddlers. But you have to be extremely careful since the floor is cemented instead of sand.
