It seems I’m the first one to review this place. Has a great ambience, relaxed atmosphere almost like a zen room. Coffees were good- had my usual espresso drinks. Yet to try their nature products, & smoothies- will definitely try sometime.

If you’re into healthy, clean eating or even just want to learn more about proper nutrition and local, whole food sources check this place out! All the ferments are made there on site using organic and locally sourced ingredients. The smoothies, which feature the house made yogurt, are absolutely delicious with perfect flavor combinations. And the inside is lovingly decorated with an earthy and cozy atmosphere. Definitely a must see new spot in New Haven that will continue to evolve its menu and offerings.

I’ve been to this cafe a few times already and each time I go, I’m more amazed. There is a very relaxing vibe with the plants scattered around the room and the murals on the wall and ceiling. You’ll think that you’ve been transported to a Zen Garden in the middle of New Haven! I’ve tried the Iced Mocha Latte, Straw-Nana Smoothie and a Hot Chocolate. The Iced Mocha Latte is very smooth - you can tell that they only use high-quality coffee beans to make their lattes. The Straw-Nana smoothie is a good balance of sweet and tart. You can also get it with coconut yogurt (which is my favorite) to add a touch more sweetness to your smoothie. The Hot Chocolate was the perfect drink to end my day. They use pure cocoa and fresh milk. I added the myco-rest powder to help me with my evening jitters. This place is a must-see. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new cafe to relax and unwind at while also working on your health!

This haven is an alchemist’s dream. If you want cultured cannabis connoisseurs, this is the place for you. The drinks are carefully crafted, the smoothies are delectably delicious, and the chocolate will send you to the moon. The atmosphere is very nice with all the plants. The artistic detail of the celestial backdrop is mind blowing. The the birch columns are iconic. Please support, they are amazing.

If you're looking for a beautiful, calm and relaxing atmosphere to grab a sip this is definitely the place! There are so many plants decorating the interior and lovely wooden chairs and tables made from the crossection of a tree stump. I ordered a matcha latte and my friend got an espresso. My only criticism would be that when asked if I wanted some extra anxiety reducing tictures added and I agreed, my drink was upgraded from $5.00 to $12.00!!! which is pretty pricey considering the amount of matcha only filled about 1/3 of the glass and the rest was frothy latte foam. The taste was enjoyable, but next time I would skip on the extras or just order the tincture itself so as to get more bang for your buck. I loved the decor though!

Culture Cafe is a great addition to the East Rock neighborhood on State Street, in New Haven. I've been many times, mostly for their fruit smoothies. They make their own fresh yogurts, kefirs, water kefirs, and kombouchas, and lattes too. I really like that they make their own yogurts fresh each day, so you get even more of the probiotic benefits. There is even a special L. Reuteri yogurt; this yogurt is reported to have more health benefits than traditional yogurts. You can choose to add a variety of healthy offerings from protein powder, or their proprietary blends of CBD/CBG/CGN and even THC to smoothies, coffee drinks, or mocha latte's. The cafe itself has a nice, welcoming, and relaxing vibe. Highly recommend.

I saw the article "Its all about gut health" and as a physician I knew that Alex was onto a very healing path of truth about the way our bodies work optimally. My experience was full of wonder because the milky way stars are on the ceiling, and I grew up under the big milky way kansas sky. The service from Chris and Alex was wonderful. The shakes and tinctures added really left me refreshed and energized. I have now brought my wife and friends to this very exciting Cultured cafe experience!

Alex is one of the most knowledgeable individuals on fermentation science that I have encountered. His personal touch in his decor from the plants to the bark on the walls creates a calm and comfortable environment to hang out and enjoy your beverage. Highly recommend stopping by for a drink. It's a great spot to meet new people and get together with friends.

What an incredible surprise. The vegan Botanic Tumeric was outstanding. I definitely plan on another visit soon to try their bowls and toast.

Amazing place. Such charm and kind staff. We had the quinoa bowl with the organ meat sausage. It was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Kombucha was so good too.

These guys have delicious smoothies and drinks, amazing house-made fermented products, great staff, and fantastic atmosphere. It's always great to stop by and grab some delicious gut healthy products from the Cultured Cafe.

This is the number one place in New Haven for the highest quality ingredients in regards to healthy food and drink. Outstanding selection of fermented foods and vibes. Great place to go and hang and they always have cool events happening. Highly recommend!!!
