Wonderful setting for an intimate evening wedding. Miss Rachel and staff were a delight. As for the food...WOW. Four course meal (see menu picture for details) capped off by a blueberry lemon with lavender frosting wedding cake. Sublime.

I booked a table for two and this was the most amazing experience as always. First things first you must book ahead of time, I recommend signing up for the emails on the website. They are not a walk-in restaurant and while that may damper it for some, this is an experience, not just a meal. Second, come ready to eat. You are coming for a multiple course meal and you will want every bite. They will also give you amazing rolls and butter at the table. BYOB with no fees! Plus, your meal comes with water, coffee, tea, and sometimes lemonade. Third, you are coming to a restaurant with atmosphere and ambience. Keep that in mind, it's great for a date, or anniversary, or a great meal with a person you really like. The atmosphere with the other guests has been nice several times when I've gone. I would recommend this place to anyone, it doesn't matter what you eat or don't. It's amazing quality and delicious food that will leave a lasting impression.

Rachel is a class act. She graciously accommodated my clients who had booked (and re-booked) their Covid-wedding four times! She was sincerely willing to pivot when their big wedding became a smaller cocktail party reception. And that’s just Rachel the person. The food was out of this world, and I’m not even vegan! Everything was generously portioned and absolutely delicious - my favorite was the gnocchi and the “salami” made from beets - wow, I had no idea how delicious vegan food could be. Can’t wait to dine at her cozy restaurant in Philly. Thank you, Rachel, for your kindness, flexibility, generosity and serious foodie skills. I’m a fan!

Exquisite dinners here at the farmhouse table. I don't ordinarily like sitting too close to people I don't know at dinner, but they've made the experience really enjoyable. We've made a number of great connections with other dinner goers here. The food is always delicious, inspired and filling (6 courses). The brunch is great here too, knishes, french toast, sticky buns, quiche. All vegan! It's almost unbelievable how good the food is. Now that they're on Caviar, I've turned a few of my omni coworkers onto Miss Rachels.

Went for their Philly vegan week BBQ and wow did I leave satisfied. The seitan was in a rich dark sauce and was not too chewey at all. The biscuits were some of the best I ever had and the Mac and "cheese" blew my mind. I don't usually go for the Mac, but I ate all of it. The owners were small very warm, welcoming and attentive. If you ever have the chance to go, definitely hit up miss rachel's pantry!

Our experience at Miss Rachel’s Pantry was incredible. I have a few food allergies and they graciously accommodated me. I typically can only eat 1-2 things on the menu at most restaurants due to this, and was grinning ear to ear when they assured me I could enjoy each course that was prepared. Not only was the food amazing, but the experience was top notch. Such a cozy location too! We will be back.

SOOO happy we found Miss Rachels as our wedding caterer!! Nichole was the coordinator for setting everything up and she was so professional and helpful throughout the entire process. It took a lot of coordination and planning and she was on the ball throughout the whole time. I was amazed at her kindness and easy going nature in such a stressful time. The staff at the wedding was also wonderful and of course the food was ridiculously good. All of my family (non-vegans) were commenting on how amazing the food was! This little dinner spot is hidden on a quiet, tree lined street in South Philly. Offering a prix fixe vegan dinner (you can't even tell it vegan it's so darn good) on Friday and Saturday nights. You'll have to book about a month in advance but it's definitely worth it. The small storefront only seats about 30 so it's an intimate experience. No FOMO here since everyone's getting the same meal. I will definitely be going here again (and again)!

Some of the very best vegan food I’ve had in my life. I’ve been in for several dinners and have bought her catering for Thanksgiving for the past 2 years. My only complaint is that she’s not open more often! I love this place!

Wow! So impressed and extremely satisfied with this delicious meal! The atmosphere was warm and cozy, you felt like you were eating at a best friend's house! The biscuits were out of this word! The soup was perfect temperature and just the right amount of heat! The pasta course was my favorite with the ricotta filling( BY FAR THE BEST VEGAN CHEESE I'VE EVER TRIED). We had the pumpkin cake for dessert and it's the most incredible cake I've had! We will be back for sure , we might never leave next time a!!!!!

There's a reason an entire month of reservations sells out within an hour: it's worth the wait! Every single course exceeded expectations (even my omnivore mom was impressed). The herbed chevre cappellacci was one of the best things I've ever eaten. With its warm, intimate setting and welcoming waitstaff, Miss Rachel's Pantry is one of the best restaurants in Philly—vegan or otherwise.

Went to Miss Rachel's Pantry for the first time last night. I have been wanting to go for a while and I have to say it was absolutely worth the wait. The ambiance, and the service by the staff were absolutely incredible. Now, when we talk about the food, that is another story. The food is on another level!! Every course of the 5 course meal was absolute perfection!! Everything was well seasoned, perfect temperature, with great flavors and textures. If you get the chance, actually, I would recommend you make it a priority, to book a reservation and try Miss Rachel's Pantry. You will not regret it.

We had our wedding reception at Miss Rachel’s Pantry and it was absolutely perfect. I’ve been vegan for over 18 years and have eaten at A LOT of vegan restaurants all over, and the food we had that night easily held its own among the best—beautifully presented, layered with interesting flavors, creative and delicious. Several guests, including worldly omnivores, said it was the best meal they’d ever had. The atmosphere is charming, the service unobtrusive and efficient, and Miss Rachel herself is very involved and a pleasure to work with. Shortly after we made our reservation, she asked us for a list of favorite ingredients, most of which were masterfully incorporated into the reception dinner. It was our first time dining there, and frankly I was a little skeptical Miss Rachel’s Pantry was the best choice in a town with places like Vedge, Tomo, and Bar Bombón, but it really blew me away. Can’t recommend enough.

My daughter and about 25 of her friends and family celebrated her 40th birthday here, at Miss Rachel 's pantry. The vegan menu was over the top delicious, with wonderful hor d'oeuvres, to main dish salads, pasta and desserts. Her staff was so accommodating and pleasant! Love this little gem!

Fabulous dinner this evening with Miss Rachel and crew. A tremendous amount of time and energy went into the planning and prep for this meal. Considerable skill and love went into the various elements and plates. Be patient. This is a slow, allow things to happen at their own pace, dining experience. First timers should consider bringing their favorite wine or beer (BYOB welcome). We'll be back. Can't wait to see what surprises Miss Rachel has for us next time. Cheers.

By far the best restaurant in Philadelphia, and (in my opinion) one of the best vegan restaurants in America. I’ve had multiple meals here and am always amazed by how creative and well-executed each one is. The menu changes regularly, but it never misses. What Rachel does with vegetables and other plant ingredients is other-worldly.

Amazing! I was planning a baby shower in Philadelphia while in Washington State. I did not know any restaurants and had guests with very specific dietary requirements. A real challenge. So glad I found Rachel's Pantry. They were so accommodating and filled me in on all the ingredients. We ordered charcuterie boxes and it was the perfect way to go. Most of us had not had a lot of vegan food and were a bit reluctant. But everyone was amazed! Loved all the cheeses, the biscuits, the bread. We were especially fascinated by the spicy "meat". So delicious. Thank you to Rachel and the staff!

One month after our wedding, and I’m still hearing rave reviews about the food! Rachel and Jess took the best care of us and made sure that everything was absolutely flawless leading up to and on our wedding day. They were beyond professional and such a pleasure to work with. I’m so thankful for their patience and talent in making it the best and yummiest day ever.

We were lucky enough to have a private event as Miss Rachel's for our self-uniting marriage. Everyone was extremely friendly and attentive from the moment we first emailed to leaving with our yummy leftovers. Out of the 20+ people there only 4 were vegans, yet everyone left satisfied and raving about how delicious everything was and debating which items were their favorite. Every guest commented throughout the night on how perfect the space was, from the decor to the little touches like the hand towels and heavenly candle in the bathroom. Our expectations were exceeded and we will look back fondly on our celebration due to Miss Rachel's Pantry :)

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had and I'm not vegan! Felt like I was at a very close friends upscale dinner party. The servers were lovely and attentive throughout the night. Rachel came out at the end of the dinner to chat with the guests. Rachel was genuinely interested in our dining experience and was happy we were able to celebrate at her restaurant. Every dish was delicious and innovative. The pace of the dinner was perfect. A longer time made it easy to digest, drink, chat, and be prepared for the next course. Would highly recommend vegans and non vegans to book a dinner here for a special occasion sometime soon.

One of my favorite places in the city owned by one of my favorite people. Miss Rachel is one of the best people I know and her food is some of the best in the city. From comfort food to fancy food, Miss Rachel can do it all. I’ve organized so many dinner parties here! My faves are her matzo ball soup, her macaroni and cheese, and good lord, can we have a Sunday Gravy Night again soon please?
