Listeeeeennnn...
This
place
is
straight
sleeper
win
here...
I
was
riding
down
Roosevelt
BLVD
and
saw
this
place.
I
said,
what
the
heck,
I'll
stop
there
and
check
it
out.
The
first
thing
that
struck
me
was
the
food
ready
to
serve
behind
the
glass
looked
clean
and
fresh.
The
guy
who
I
can
only
assume
was
the
owner,
asked
me
if
I
wanted
any
samples.
Of
course
I
said
yes
😁
So
I
sampled
the
curry
goat
and
butter
chicken....
OH
MY!!!
It
was
piping
hot
and
sooooo
good!
I
was
in
a
place
where
I
couldn't
decide
what
I
wanted.
I
love
lamb.
The
guy
behind
the
counter
could
tell
I
was
undecided
and
started
talking
to
me
about
the
menu.
One
thing
that
stood
out
to
me
about
this
guy
is
that
I
could
tell
he
had
a
lot
of
fire
and
passion
for
his
craft.
He
sold
me
on
the
So
lamb
kabob
platter
with
chick
peas
and
salad.
Let
me
tell
you...
I
opened
this
platter
and
oh
my
goodness....
The
aromas
hit
my
nose
and
all
I
wanted
to
do
was
eat!!!
So
I
took
the
spoon
and
tried
the
chick
peas
first.
Whoa!!!
I
never
had
chick
peas
that
good!
Fresh,
perfectly
seasoned,
not
too
mushy,
not
too
dry;
the
perfect
taste.
Then
I
tried
the
salad.
Ok,
it's
a
salad.
But
I
give
him
props
because
it
was
fresh
and
crisp.
Those
potatoes...
I've
never
had
potatoes
styled
this
way...
Oh
my!!!!
Flavors
soooo
good!!!
Now
onto
the
rice.
The
rice
had
the
perfect
flavor
and
dryness.
It
also
had
the
little
allspice
(I
think)
seeds
in
there.
Then
I
tried
the
lamb.......
OMG!!!
It's
rare
that
these
Kabob
places
actually
cook
their
Kabobs
over
coals.
You
could
taste
the
charcoal
in
these
kabobs,
but
the
smoke
flavor
didn't
overpower
the
perfectly
nuanced
spices
that
seasoned
the
meat.
It
was
the
best
lamb
I
ever
tasted.
By
now
you're
probably
thinking,
this
guy
works
for
this
place
or
knows
the
owner
personally.
I
can
tell
you
I
don't.
I
drive
uber
sometimes
in
my
spare
time.
That's
how
I
discovered
this
place.
Go
here,
it's
the
best
kabobs
I've
ever
tasted.
You
won't
be
disappointed!
