My friend and I visited Parklawn Cemetery in May, I liked this cemetery. Amelia Wang helped me, I have signed the documents and paid, all I have now are a few printed papers. In October I visited Parkland with my friends again, they both purchased a niche, after that my friend told me, she got a deed for her purchase. I called the Parklawn office and asked if I should also have a niche deed, I was told by David I would get one. I received very basic information on purchasing, some other information was told by my friend. By the way, I would like to mention that during the process, Amelia walked out to help another walk-in customer, leaving me and my friend in the room for over half an hour, we were not happy about that. My niche deed is taking far too long, and am still waiting for it. Update The niche certificate from Parklawn cemetery arrived in early January, after talking with Manager Chris. I was overseas since I talked with Chris, I just came back a few days ago and found the certificate. I appreciate Chris' help. I love this beautiful place and I would recommend this well maintained cemetery.

On behalf of our entire family, we recommend Parkland Memorial Park. Recently their Field Operarions team assisted with an upkeep action that inspired us to write: "We appreciate your diligence and responsibility in maintaining the highest standards of care for the memories of the departed entrusted to you. "Parkland Memorial Park unfailingly preserves a peaceful, respectful and glorious sylvan space that brings us comfort whenever we visit."

Disappointed in the customer service. We were very clear about paying for everything upfront and when we inquired about my father’s headstone the staff member forgot to charge us for the actual headstone but charged us for everything else. Still waiting for a resolution and it adds tremendous stress and disappointment while we are still grieving our loss. Very disappointed as our mother is also buried there and we wanted to also take care of our own arrangements to include this cemetery but after this experience it’s highly unlikely.

I can't say enough about my experience with Parklawn Cemetery. Josie was so incredibly helpful, friendly, and made everyone feel so at ease; like we didn't need to worry about anything because she had it all handled. The grounds themselves are gorgeous. Thank you so much for making our day a little bit better.

Found this place while walking through parklawn. Beautiful and well kept cemetery. I can see why people would want to use their services. It was gorgeous and peaceful to walk through.

Amelia is very professional, she helped us go through the most difficult time a lot easier. She is a great listener, and she provided the best advice.

The grounds are lovely, in a tranquil park-like setting. It is set back from the main roads so you don't hear traffic but it's close enough to Rock Creek Trail and local parks that it doesn't feel desolate. We worked with Amelia Haeger at Parklawn and she made a very difficult time easier. She is unfailingly professional and empathetic. She does everything in her power to make the process run smoothly. (Amelia's colleagues, from the office manager to the groundskeepers were also very gracious.) There were significant delays in the monuments being produced and delivered due to supply chain problems. While we were not happy about the delays, we understood that it was truly out of their control. Amelia gave us updates as they were available. We were finally able to hold a ceremony for my Mom and Amelia did a lovely job hosting. Amelia met with me after the service to make sure we were doing well. She was very thorough in explaining visiting hours, placing flowers and holiday decorations, and how to reach the staff for assistance. It sounds like some other folks had issues with their counselors but we definitely did not. Amelia was wonderful to work with.

I truly wish Parklawn would do more to eradicate the geese. Theh have truly desecrated the sires, which make walking very difficult. I hate seeing my loved ones final resting place full of geese droppings. I have family members at All Souls and tge grounds are geese free and beautiful. Parkland, please get rid of of the geese.

The Parklawn staff are professional, welcoming, and very helpful through an invariably difficult process. I worked primarily with Josie. The process of burying my mother and planning her funeral initially seemed overwhelming, but she did a great job making it digestible. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. No big issues, would recommend to anyone.

Josie is amazing, understanding, and patient. She took time to explain everything several times and checked in with me. I can not thank her enough for all she has done to help me. The reason I came back and was able to get my request complete was all thanks to Josie!!

My mother passed away recently. Thomas was very flexible and efficient in arranging the burial service. He also ensure that the inscription was done correctly and swiftly.

From the time I called Parklawn Memorial Park and Menorah Gardens I felt that I was a cog in the wheel of the business. The funeral director was scattered and unhelpful. I provided the plot information for my family and he called three times confused and talking to me about someone else and their service. The week before when I came in the office they jumped right into the paperwork without explaining or discussing the options just assumed they knew what I wanted and the experience which should have taken no more than an hour was almost TWO! It was miserable and uncomfortable. Then when we went to look at the family spot to confirm placement etc, he was smoking as he talked to us and threw his cigarette butt on the gravesites. It was disgusting and unprofessional!!! I was appalled and honestly if we didn't have pre-paid family spots I would have left right then and there. Then during the day of the service, no one helped me set up except the grounds crew which had more compassion than anyone in the office. They were fantastic and they helped. The service had one awkward time because the day of director was novice and did not provide direction. Then afterwards I asked for the info to be emailed to me because I was too grief stricken to make the zoom meeting they had two days afterwards and I have emailed three times and have yet to get any info. They got my money and they have not responded since. This is a business I know but the lack of kindness, compassion and organization is astounding.

Josie went above and beyond to make such a difficult time more manageable. I wouldn't have been able to get everything properly put together without her help. I HIGHLY recommend Parklawn Memorial Park and ask for Josie!

We live on the opposite coast and haven't been able to visit our parents markers and wanted to see if it can be checked on, especially for some recent special occasions that we typically would send flowers for. Bonnie was super helpful and understanding. We were able to send flowers to the address from Costco and Bonnie was able to clean up the marker and place the flowers. We are forever grateful for her help

I lost my best friend of nearly 50 years. Plus, I work in the industry managing a cemetery and multiple funeral homes, so I know the business. I totally recognize the top level of service, backed with such compassion that we received from both the Family Service Advisor, Josie and the manager, Tommy. I cannot thank them enough

Representative was very responsive and supportive of our needs on very short notice. Grounds crew did an excellent job of preparing the gravesite as well as a beautiful job of displaying the flowers and resetting the marker shortly after the burial. An overall very positive and professional experience during a very difficult time of transition.

I liked this cemetery, very clean and the grounds are kept well. My first point of contact was Clifford and he was very helpful and professional during the time I was looking around. There have been a couple things that didn't go well but I still enjoy this place. Bonnie has been great, her attention to detail and making sure I am satisfied as a customer is exceptional.
