Cool place. Private rooms for just your group. Takes a minute to learn the music queue. Highly recommend signing into their wifi and using the connect to phone so you can search through the music on your phone. You can also ask them to put YouTube on so you can pick some other songs that may not be on there. Bottle service was nice. Room could have been a little cleaner as the floor was sticky but overall great experience.

Great service, decent room! It was a good size and we liked the set up. Booked a 6-8 person room for 70/hr. Drinks go toward that price. We were able to add on an extra hour and ended up doing 3 hours, so clearly we had a good time. The karaoke system is hard to navigate, it'll take some finessing to find a song you're looking for. The hostess took the time to show us how best to use the system though, so kudos for that. Gratuity was automatically added, which i didn't mind as I liked not having to do the math, but be aware.

Had a last minute party of 7 wanting to do karaoke and with the about $140 spending minimum, for a 2 hour session. You do hit that minimum with a bottle of alcohol and some chasers. Good value!

I have been trying to contact this place for over a week to book a room for my birthday party. I’ve been emailing and calling everyday and no one has ever picked up or gotten back to me.

the servers were nice! paying per hour with no minimum is a plus, but still over priced in my opinion. poor music selection, a lot of them sounded like weird remixes with some songs keeping the singer and others removed them. the security was very off putting. I understand the importance of his job but yikes. I was not comfortable with him unzipping/going through my purse while it was still at my side and with no warning. at previous jobs, I was taught that I must have the person unzip their belongings when going through them. and again, I understand what his job is, but at least let me hold it out in front so I can see what’s going on. the rooms could have been cleaner; sticky floors and cigarette smelling bathrooms.

We are from Boston and where exploring Philly we saw this place and thought it would be cool to go in. The security guard was extremely rude and condescending because there was an entrance fee of $400 which we could have and would have paid but the way he was talking to us made it seem like this place was too good for us to go in. It was such a strange experience really put a sour taste in our tongue. He was almost mocking us “you can come in but it will cost ya $400” with a smirk in his face. So strange and disappointing….

I loved this place. First time doing karokee and it was fun. We had our own private room with our own bathroom. The drinks were delicious too. Will go back again.

Went here this past weekend to celebrate my birthday! The room and service were awesome. We were almost an hour late because we got held up at the restaurant we went to for dinner before our time slot (not due to any fault of our own) and the staff didn't mind. You can literally go to YouTube right in their interface and search any song you want to sing and it will work perfectly fine. That's what we did for the majority of our reservation and we had an absolute blast. Security out front is thorough - I mean EXTREMELY thorough. They will check every pocket in your purse and are not shy during the pat down, they were joking around with us throughout though so it wasn't awkward.

Don’t go here. The bottle service sucks. No wine or champagne. The place is not that clean and the furniture is so worn and outdated. It looks nothing like the pictures on line. They charge you upscale prices and deliver low scale service. The music selections are very limited. I would not recommend this place even on a just hanging out night. I wish Tango and the other places were open.

This place is a lot of fun. There website doesn't mention that they require you to reserve a room or you will not be allowed entry. Unfortunately we weren't able to get in for my friends birthday.

for the love of God PLEASE update your website with current information...planning something here has been a nightmare with so many inconsistencies between the outdated info on your website and what i'm being told on the phone! at least update your room size capacities, i'm now having to pay $200 more than i originally intended because of these misleading inconsistencies. other than that, this is a very fun time, especially for celebrations!

This place is dope. Loved the full bar bottle service style they got going. Had a great time there for my friend's birthday while visiting Philadelphia. The one thing I do wish I knew: Apparently, the karaoke machines connect to YouTube, ridiculously opening up your karaoke range. I can't wait to try that out next time.

This place does not care about the constitution or the right to conceal carry given to me by the state of Pennsylvania. Security was rude and unhelpful. Will not be back. Rather be safe then sorry. Must be some really shady characters walking through these doors…

This place is crazy. The security guard gave my friend a pat down that TCA wouldn’t have even done. It was insanely overpriced and the song selection sucked. Do not go here.

I had an amazing time at the Karaoke place! The song selection was extensive, the sound system is great, and the atmosphere was lively. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our experience even more enjoyable. Whether you're a seasoned singer or just looking for a fun night out, this Karaoke spot is a fantastic choice. I can't wait to return for another memorable singing session!

Do not go here!! Very unwelcoming feeling, when we walked in to go to the bar lounge and karaoke we were told it was closed at 9 pm on a Saturday night , I said oh really I just called she said it was open, he said oh ok and let us in. We walked into bar and again very unwelcoming feeling the bartender said that the bar does not let more then groups of 5 in the bar, we were 6 and the place was completely empty!!! No one else was in there!!I guess this place does not want business or we were discriminated against, I’m not sure but that policy makes no sense, it makes sense for the private karaoke rooms but not for the bar lounge how do they know who is a group and who is not. I’ve never heard of a number of people per group allowed in a bar, very strange!!!

The only place in town that lets you be the star of the main lounge with a light up stage and the lyrics surround you. Drinks are reasonable. Food is only allowed to be preserved in the private rooms.

Fun time. Going here makes me feel like I'm in asia again. Must spend a minimum of $50 an hour for private room. But thats not a problem with a group of friends after a couple beers and a few appetizers.

Great place to come and sing or watch others do there thing on the huge light up stage in the lounge area. They also have the option of private rooms for us too shy to sing infront of other people. Friendly staff.

I walked over to Klair on 10/13/2022 after not being able to reach them via phone or email - we had a reservation for this weekend but I didn't receive the confirmation call that they usually do. Turns out, they're ceasing operations until a specific license can be obtained. I hope they get back in business because it's a great place for Karaoke!

I booked the 6-10 people room for a friends bachelorette and we had a blast!! It ended up only being 4 of us but we had the BEST time! Very nice place. Staff was amazing, especially Bill!!! He was incredibly nice and funny and let us extend our stay. Great time 10/10 would recommend!!!!

Bomb.com ! Decor/ lights /the music/ loved the private bathroom in the rooms /the backtrack was great / the music selection was all great! The employees were super nice and helpful. $70/ hour for a private "small" room it was really spacious and had enough room for all of us. Wish they had food offering but you can order in so that's nice. Honestly this is our new favorite place!

Had a great time in the lounge with the large, open karaokee stage. They had options for private rooms as well. We were told two drinks minimum per person to stay in the lounge. Everyone seemed to have a great time singing classics.

Fair prices and private rooms. Karaoke recordings were weird tho and we had problems with our microphones. Probably the cheapest private space in philly to really party

  • 5/5 Jon W. 1 year ago on Google
We had a 22nd birthday party here. The cost for a private karaoke room (vip) was very reasonable considering the package deal that comes with it. It was an excellent experience. The guard at the front does pat you down thoroughly, but he was respectful. The karaoke machine had two mics, and we could use youtube if the preloaded songs didn’t have what we wanted. All in all, it was an excellent time.

Went here two weeks ago. Really clean location, the staff look like they were taking the virus very seriously. People were wiping surfaces regularly and the rooms were cleaned aftwr we used them. Mostly wide music choice, leans towards kpop but theres a bit of early 2000's bangers there too. Plenty of Justin Timberlake. Also they have hard cider so thats a frickin plus my guy.

They changed their ordering menu recently, I'm so sad there's even less options now! Still overall a decent place for karaoke, can't finds my obscure songs but that's to be expected

I used to absolutely love this place. I think it's the best Karaoke place in Philadelphia if you're with a small group. However, I used to go here all the time in college around 2019 with 10+ people, but I recently had a bunch of friends drive over an hour here to visit and go to karaoke, but they wouldn't let us in with more than 5 people unless we rented a room, but we had 6 and just wanted to go to the main stage because being in a room wouldn't be significantly different than just hanging out at someone's house and singing. We love going on stage. One of the other reviews mentioned this issue as well, and part of me understands that with a huge group it might be difficult to ensure everyone gets a chance to sing, but I don't understand how it's any different from 2 groups showing up separately, or if you make friends at the bar? We had to try a few other places for karaoke that night and none of them were any good, so we just went to a bar. If it was before this experience I'd gladly give Lair KTV a 5 star review but if this policy stays I have no idea if I'll ever be able to go back and enjoy my time here again.

Parking : Street parking or small parking lots located around the area. Payment Process: I called and reserved over the phone, you’ll need to put card info down in case you cancel last minute. Price : for an 8 person room I was told $70 per hour, minimum 2 hours. The next room up is a 15 person room with a 3 (4?) hour minimum and that is about $400, from what I was told over the phone. Definitely call to check the rates! Organized a small Birthday here with 6 people in an room that said 9 (though I was told maximum occupancy was as 8) There is an large bar area right in front of the rooms with a very large stage. Looks really fun! Other than that and the kitchen being closed for remodeling (as of September 2023) - the service was great! Room was clean with its own bathroom and AC unit - you’re gonna need it! I was a little worried it was cold but when everyone’s singing and dancing it warms up ! They said we could bring our own food since the kitchen is down which was great! They also provided water and microphone covers. Our room even had maracas which was very helpful for our friends who were too shy to sing in the beginning. The TVs are fixed to whatever is programmed into the wall tablet so limited song choices. In Houston they’ve switched to smart tvs that can airplay YouTube. Still super fun! This was everyone’s first time here ! We are definitely coming back!

I had an amazing birthday celebration at SPACE! The experience was fantastic from start to finish. The private KTV room we booked was awesome and well-equipped. The bar service was excellent and the staffs were friendly and attentive, making sure our glasses were never empty. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate my birthday. If you're looking for a great karaoke experience with top-notch bar service, this is the place to go.
