This resort was well planned out, from the generous parking to the front desk, variety of plants (I particularly noticed the black bamboo) and trees and where planted, the salt water swimming pool, massage area, kitchen and dining, and the detached rooms. The modular layout adds to the privacy of the guests. The food offerings were special. The massage gave justice to a badly needed one. It has the clearest view of apo island along the coastline so it's a popular staging point for divers.

I came across this resort after long search during my first trip to Philippines, after not being convinced with all the other available resorts. It turned out to be a very lucky catch and made me return during my recent trip. The rooms are spacious and make up half of a hut each. The huts are arranged around their pool, which has a good size and mostly is deep enough for proper swimming (many other resorts only have a small deep section, while most of the pool is shallow - that's much better here). The resort doesn't have a nice beach for swimming in the sea but is rather focused on diving and snorkeling. I didn't do any of those and can't judge the quality, but was happy to just swim in the pool - which is cleaned regularly. The owner is a nice French guy. Also many of their guests seem to be French. All staff is extremely friendly and helpful, so the atmosphere in the entire resort is really good. Their restaurant is rather expensive but you get very good quality. I enjoyed every meal there. For breakfast, you get unlimited juice, coffee, fresh fruit and white bread with jam. Besides that you have an included amount for a la carte ordering, which is enough for one full breakfast. Anything additional will be charged extra. For me that was a good solution. I'll make sure to stay here again during future trips.

A little on the pricey side, in comparison to the other dive centres. Camille is lovely, great to chat to and very welcoming. Dive master was OK, pointed a few things out but did keep himself to himself quite a lot and nearly disappeared when myself and the other diver were stopped checking out a sea snake and some Nudibranch. Equipment is good and they have a nice big boat with friendly staff. Nice pool and fantastic pastries by their French chef.

Often here with friends plus i was train to work here as receptionist! However, they kicked me out as I didn't meet the standard lol, I'm so thankful for the short time they allow me to experience the receptionist work. love the place and the food... i like the seaview while having a good food and friends. Will surely visit here again❤

The ambiance is so relaxing. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff were accommodating. The food (breakfast) was delicious! Quite a good surprise given it was our first time in Duma. Hope to visit again soon.

Thalatta Dive Resort was a very nice surprise in the Philippines. We had a last-minute change in our plans and the staff made everything possible and impossible to accomodate our needs. The resort is very beautiful, the pool is always very clean and the food at the restaurant is just delicious, with a varied menu and fair prices. We definitelly recommend it and wish to be back one day. *We did not dive but the structure for scuba divers, including personnel, two big boats and ground support is very well organized. Last but not least, Patrick, who owns and runs the resort, is very attentious to guests' needs and is always around to make sure everything is ok. Thanks, Patrick! We had an amazing time at Thalatta and you and your team are super engaged on doing the extra-mile for your guests. Keep well and peace.

One of the best places we stayed during our Negros Loop. Staff were friendly and accommodating! I requested if they can prep flowers to surprise my GF and look at what they did!! Love it!!! Awesome view of the sea, too bad we could not go snorkeling as the weather was a bit off and waves were quite strong. We also wanted to try scuba diving... but was hard pressed for time... next time! Although food was a bit pricey.... for me.. it was on point! I ordered the fish and my GF their chicken and we both cleaned the plate! hehehe We definitely recommend you to stay with them! Worth every centavos!

Strongly recommend! If you wanna go dive also take good rest for holidays, here’s the best place for you. The dive master is great and professional, high quality of dive equipments, great dive package to choose. Room is super clean and spacious. Food is great with reasonable prices. All staff here are very nice and friendly. SPA is good also with reasonable prices. I’ll definitely back here. Thank you for all your great work!

Best value you can get for your money ! Other resorts with the same quality ask for triple prices. The staff is great. See you next year !
