Located at the heart of the city. Rizal Park hosts usually the city celebrations and major events of Davao City. The Davao City Hall and the City Council Hall is also located in this vicinity along side with other government offices managed by the city.

Rizal Park can enjoy a wide range of activities, including picnics, jogging, and walking. The park features a lagoon where visitors can rent paddleboats and enjoy a leisurely ride around the water. There are also several monuments and statues dedicated to historical figures, including a statue of Dr. Jose Rizal himself. One of the highlights of a visit to Rizal Park is the Light and Sound Museum, which showcases the history of the Philippines through an immersive multimedia experience. The museum is housed in a Spanish colonial-era building and features a state-of-the-art sound system and special effects that bring the exhibits to life.

Now the Rizal Monument has a better view since the building behind was taken down (for creation of a new bldg?) .

I passed by the Rizal Park of Davao on a Saturday morning. The place is spacious and clean. You can see the police men doing their morning routine, some stalls for you to buy anything. Restaurants are also visible around the area, and the traffic during that time is low. I had a good view around the park and I was mesmerized by the huge building architecture with some good details on it. Friendly people will help you out with the direction as well.

Davao City is one of the best place in the world. Where can you find a dove flying all the way and you can feed them. It is a great place to stay. You might noticed that there were military officer to protect it since Davao City Hall is nearby. If you're grueling this is the best place you can choose a male or female masseur who will give you the best experience in massage in 10 years or more.

The park was clean, wide and very beautiful. There are a number of fast foods nearby. There are a lot of pigeons flying around. Some people were feeding them. You can also take your dog for a walk here. I saw some taking their dogs with them.
