They have fresh meat and seafood everyday. Outside the market you can also checkout for some merienda. 👌

Fresh produce, fish and meat can be found here. Though the market is not suitable for maarte people because of the various odors.

Few spots reveal the soul of a place as a public market because it is there you will find the locals unselfconsciously going about satisfying their daily needs. It's also where you'll see how they commonly interact with each other. I found the fish section and the food sections of this market very intriguing.

A very vast market with a warm atmosphere offering a complete range of food products from the region. It's really an authentic place with a sane competition. The relationship between the small shopkeepers is warm without jealousy. One might complain about its crowded but it's what the market lovers enjoy. it is lively. You cannot find this in supermarkets! The quality of the products is very good wether regarding fruits, vegetables and flowers

nice place you can find almost everything you need, also it's near downtown where grocery stores and souvenir shops can be found. no cases of pickpocketing, crowded with nice people from anywhere and nice transportation access

Big public market for dry and wet goods. Food here relatively costs cheaper than Manila.

Lots of things you can not imagine are to be found. It's not horrible 8n terms of smells and cleanliness. It's a good and nice market, but mund you.... absolutely not the cheapest way to buy your goods as it is more common in European countries to buy in the market. Go have a look and enjoy!

Very clean... no foul smell market. Seen a public market this clean for just a 2nd time. The 1st time was in Naga City in Bicol (just saying...). Native "kakanin" best to test in the market joining both locals & tourists.

The public market is one of the center points of neighborhood life in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental. There is persistently something great to eat and something captivating to see.

Wet. I think the city should exert more effort on the upkeep. I happened to be at the market when it rained hard. There were a lot of leaks on the roof. Especially on the fruit and vegetable section. It looked like the roof havent been repaired and replaced for some time. Building 1, where the fish and meat are, have narrow aisles. They should be more strict on fish vendors putting their containers along the aisle. It creates people traffic and congestion. Unsanitary. People spit anywhere. People also urinate anywhere. I don't expect the public market to be crispy clean, but they should at least be sanitary; considering they are selling products that we bring home to cook and eat.

During the week, the trip from Bindoy Cabugan to Dumaguete is somewhat pleasant other than the daily, weekly traffic of the motorbikes, trikes and the large trucks that travel at a snails pace. Once in Dumaguete getting into, and getting out of the Public Market area is a breeze. A joy to shop there Shopping at the Public Market is great during the week, because there is plenty of parking... on the weekends, parking is terrible, uf you can find a parking spot.

A great example of how public markets are supposed to me cleaner and well organized market compared to my local Bacolod Markets which are the worst if you ask me honestly speaking. When in Dumaguete this is a must and I do not leave without getting their local chocolate tablea.

Thausand kind of smell. U can buy Lokal stink fish. Chicken Beef pig meat. U can't compare with western countries. If u are sensitive stay away. Coffee only 10cent. U can have also lokal food in the cantina there. And get full for one Dollar. Also u can buy all kind of fake fashion. Actually u get everything there. But it's a typical filipin Mart. I was today for Hair cut and saving. Also pedicure and Manicure. I payed only 6 Dollar for everything.

A laid-back wet market with a wide variety of fresh products to buy and choose from, don't forget to try to eat in their"PAINITAN" area where you can sip a fresh coffee and eat a glutinous rice with chocolate syrup on the top

Local public market here in Dumaguete, you can buy native delicacies, fruits and veggies. Some store in nearby area will be closed around 12 to 1pm but will re-open after few hours.

For someone who’s been living here quite long, is easy to find what i need, but they could make it way cleaner and better walkways. So far it is a good market. I’m sure they have money to develop and upgrade it

I briefly stopped and looked around here. It sells stuffs that one normally finds is a public market: clothings, shoes, fruits, vegetables, fish, meats, etc. 3 ⭐ for the cleanliness.
