Clean and well maintained beach. Plenty of restaurant around. Its quite and nice place to hang out. Few miles from downtown via tricycle. The beach has clear water and find sand. Its a must visit place if you want to get away from the crowd downtown.

Great place to get your sunset snaps!! It's just breathtaking!! Very beautiful, nice waves rolling in down the pier. Plus it's set up resort style with lots of restaurants, ice cream and shops. Decorated up for the holidays. Very enjoyable. A must see if your out this way.

Beach and overall resort is beautiful and clean. The beach itself is absolutely stunning. If you're in El Nido and want to go to a beach that isn't too saturated, I recommend Lio Beach. The drive in is also beautiful. !!! ADVICE TO TOURISTS !!!: Although this place was stunning, our experience was tainted due to extremely rude tourists who were belligerently and sloppily drunk. If you are a tourist to ANY foreign land, please approach the land AND THE LOCALS with respect. Pick up after yourselves, and be respectful. It is NOT your home, you are a VISITOR. It was disappointing to see people visiting my homeland -- the Philippines, enjoying the beaches, adventures, food, etc. and just disrespecting everything with a sense of entitlement. Please be respectful. (PHOTOS ALSO INCLUDE SOME SCENIC OVERLOOKS ON OUR MOTOR BIKE RIDE TO LIO BEACH COMING FROM SAN FERNANDO.)

An amazing beach with fantastic scenery. We were blown away by the seascape. This beach has plenty of amenities nearby (pharmacy, ATM) and restaurants, though it does not feel crowded as the restaurants are setback from the beach. The atmosphere is lively and friendly. You do need to bring insect repellent as the beach has some biting insects/mites, though fortunately we did not get bitten.

great beach with many cafes and restaurants, spa nearby, free chairs to sit and a lot of place to sunbathe. not the best place for swimming though :) water is not clear and greenish. you can rent paddle boards here. waves are quite big sometimes. there is an atm nearby since most of the places accept cash only

A good beach that's easily accessible from El Nido town via the free shuttle. They have hourly schedules that depart to and fro. The surrounding area has been developed and hosts some restaurants and souvenir shops. Nothing exciting or noteworthy, but should cover the essentials. There is also a pharmacy in the area and an ATM. There are several designated areas for smoking, a volleyball net, and a handful of lounge furniture --- free to use for all visitors.

Very Nice and very clean. Not Crowded Beach. Sand is Find and the water is clean and clear. Several restaurants along the beach for dining options.

Lio beach looks very modern with a lot of restos to choose from along the beach. Very clean, aesthetic, and organized. When we were there, for some reason I don’t know, there were a lot of small flying insects in the water and even on the sand, so I spent my time shooing them all away while dipping. Me and my friends were lucky enough to witness the beautiful sunset here on the day we visited because the rest of the week that we were in El Nido it became rainy in the afternoon, so skies are not clear for sunset watching.

Who's in the mood for some delicious tacos? This beach, located near El Nido and its airport, offers a wide variety of mini food and souvenir stalls, reminiscent of some areas in Changgu, Bali. From exquisite oysters to authentic Mexican cuisine, not to mention the abundance of alcohol stalls. The beach itself is quite large, perhaps more crowded than others in the area, but it's definitely worth a visit.

It is less crowded in Lio beach, the beach included in Land tour. This is near the Lio Airport, you can enjoy the watching the plane taking off or landing down. There's a restricted area for the airport location. There are restaurants here which are a little bit expensive. Seda hotel and resorts is also in the area. All in all the beach is really wide. But beware of nikniks near the bridge.

Great beach for sunset view. The airport nearby makes it a great place for aeronotic enthusiasts to take some awesome pictures. The beach also has some great vegan restaurants.

Best beach in El Nido where you dont need to hop on a boat to get too. Just 15 mins from the town proper and abt 5 mins from the airport. Has a great selection of bar and restos and also a great place to take a quick dip in the ocean. Enjoyed this place a lot. Calming, beautiful and serene. Will be back here when i go back to El Nido.

Beautiful beach, clean, quiet, no vendors, just a few dogs, cozy lights after sunset

Probably the cleanest beach in El Nido, Im assuming this beach is privately owned as its meticulously maintained. Its fantastic to see a beach dedicated to a plastic free, eco lifestyle. You can walk around all day with out shoes going from bar to restaurant and cafes. I also rented a surf board here and did some surfing which is great for Intermediate and beginners. Love love love ❀️

It's further away from the city center and takes more than an hour each way by motorbike! This gave me a great tan on the backs of my hands! Impossible! 🀣 The sea is beautiful!

Best beach we've been to in el nido so far (excluding the ones from tours). Clean and lifeguard is on duty. There are warning flags too about the current sea conditions.

Stunning beach with lots of restaurant options. Just be aware most are on the more expensive side. Definitely worth a day here

Beautiful beach with lots of restaurants and bars with delicious food. You can watch planes taking off from a nearby airport. A good place to admire the sunset. There are miniature sand fleas on the beach, so you need to protect yourself with citrus oils.

Magnificent sunset. Plenty of restaurants. There is a concrete beachwalk to watch the sun set, or if you're lucky, catch a plane landing onto the nearby airport.

Gorgeous, breathtaking sunset! The limestone cliffs from afar truly exudes that island paradise vibe. There are hotels, food places and hangouts along the coast and it’s near Lio airport. You can even see the planes taking off but its not a nuisance at all. Can’t get enough of this place.

Very nice beach, good for a swim, bite to eat, beer, and watching planes take off close by. Also very peaceful. Not like marimegmeg closer to el nido.

This is for me the "well-balanced" beach in El Nido. Not that crowded, many good resto, clear water and fine sand and still the view of those mountain/limerocks and trees are beautiful. πŸŒ΄β›±οΈπŸŒŠβ€οΈ

I love this beach. Chill vibes. Wide area. As compared to Nacpan, this place is not crowded and lots of free seats. Food is a bit pricey but you still get what you paid for.

  • 5/5 Mary D. 1 year ago on Google
Perfect place to catch sunset. We didn't swim as there was a warning for sandflies. We came from Nacpan beach and were already bitten a number of times. Lio Beach was recommended by locals and they were absolutely right. We were about to skip it but lucky we didn't. Too bad my phone died. Only got photos before the actual sunset. There are swings and beach chairs to relax on. Lots of trees. We enjoyed watching the squirrels, too.

Visited on 24 Sept 2022. Nice quiet beach, hidden away from the main road. Not much crowd, water is relatively clear. A few cafes around this area serving hot food if you're hungry or if you want to hide from the rain. There is also beach chairs available, with two beach volleyball courts, a few swings hanging from the tree. Restroom are available for free. There's a mini mart nearby selling affordable alcoholic drinks from 32 pesos up. There is also a tricycle point where you can hire tricycle to different places. Highly recommended to visit for a chill day.

Good place, better beach. You can find regular quality restaurants and hoteld, high prices. It is far away from El Nido but there is a free shutle service from morning to late evening.
