Just recently, due to low water level of Pantabangan lake, parts of the sunken town of Pantabangan reemerged: remains of its century-old church, old cemetery, local highschool, municipal hall building , town plaza and some houses made of stones were seen. Local tourists came and the catholic church hosted a holy mass at the exact location of the church. Locals also celebrated the sacrifices of the old Pantabangan and its residents during the 1970s, for the construction of the now famous Pantabangan Dam.

An environmental fee of 30 pesos upon entering. Nice relaxing place to unwind . Worth visiting . An old town underneath this lake.

Visitors usually go to Pantabangan for the Dam, but only few of them are aware of this place. Intang has always been beautiful, I've been here long ago and it's nice that not much has changed. It's also tranquil, perfect if you are looking for a place to visit that's not frequented by a lot of people. It's windy but hot, there are not many establishments in the area that can shield you from the sun or to entertain you if you are not just planning to relax. Not sure if visitors are allowed to swim and if the water is okay for swimming, but I've seen some locals swimming. There are also votes ferrying people to another place we didn't know. Maybe it's a better tourist spot or what, but I think people often stay there instead of where we spent our time.

Intang is a nice place. You need to pay an environmental fee (30 pesos i think) before entry.

Beautiful view of Pantabangan Lake. There is a P30 Ecology Fee and registration needed prior to entering.

The place is very beautiful but above all, very historic. An old town lies underneath the peaceful water. A picturesque sight that holds memories. Talking to the locals will help you appreciate the place beyond what your eyes can see.

It's a nature filled adventure... You may ask the locals there for more info

As observed, there was a place for fishing as a means of living for the communities of Pantabangan. Sport fishing was also another recreation and tourist attraction. For high-end guests there's a spot to enjoy jet ski, kayak and other inflatable recreations.

Good time for morning walk because it gets too hot during noontime.

When you arrive, you are greeted with a very beautiful view of the lake surrounded by mountains. Unfortunately the experience ends here. The area is barren, exclusively rocks and dirt. There is nowhere to sit to enjoy and take in the view. There are boats and docks near the water, but they are all privately owned and not for rent. If there were even just some picnic tables, I could recommend this place strongly... Unfortunately they strive to make this place as undesirable as possible for visitors. If you are travelling, and not interested in purchasing a stay at a nearby resort, it's probably best to skip this place.
