I did my PADI open water here with Mickael (English / French), who was an amazing diving instructor. He is a very patient and experienced teacher and I really felt that it was important for him that I understand properly and get the right reflex since the beginning. I also had trouble equalizing my right ear and he was very comprehensive about it and never rushed me. Cebu fun divers is a great center, the equipment seems new + clean and everybody was friendly. The place is very pretty and not packed with people, which is pleasant. They have a big swimming pool, which is very practical for the 1st dive. Got also the chance to dive with the sardines on my 3rd dive. :) All in all I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking to scuba dive in the area. It is slightly more expensive but for good reasons. Note: if you are staying in the center of the village, you can reach Cebu fun divers in ~10min by waking straight on the road next to the shore. Don’t follow Google, which would show you a 25min walk through the main road.

We did our Padi Open Water Diver with Rene from Austria the last three days in a group of three. I really enjoyed learning with him. He has a lot of experience and a really calm way to explain everything and do the practical exercises. The location is really nice. They have chairs and a couch to sit in the shade while doing the theory, they offer water, tea and coffee and the house reef is beautiful. I would totally recommend the school and especially Rene as a teacher!

It was absolutely fantastic to have completed my open water course with Cebu fun divers. Even on the first dive, we’d already spotted a sea turtle, and on my subsequent dives we spotted moray eels, clownfish, at least 7 other turtles and of course, the amazing sardine run. My instructor, Rene, was very patient and knowledgeable, and ran me through all the skills in a calm fashion until I got used to them. He also made diving A LOT of fun; I thought there was a good balance between getting to explore underwater and practicing skills. Thank you Rene for even going the extra mile to take photos for us. And for looking after us on our subsequent dives after my course!! :) Also, the other staff we met were all really nice and friendly too!!! Super experience all around 👍🏼

I did my open water cert here with Rene. He was so helpful and patient with us and was a great instructor. The dive site is also great we saw a lot of marine life and even got to see a sea krait (I think) our first dive. The staff at Cebu fun divers were also very helpful and nice - would 100% recommend this place! If you’re on the fence - do it.

The rooms are clean and new. BUT they do not clean the rooms daily and when asked to do so the results are the pictures below. Dirty towels left on the rooms for 3 days now. When I asked for toilet rolls they left some outside my unit and threw one roll in the wet area near the sink. Bins not cleared. Beds not made. And finally, the picture below is the view while sitting outside my deluxe ‘sea-view’ room. All I see is plants. As for the diving, the centre is well equipped but a little disorganised. Dives times keep changing. There is a basket with your name on it where u load all your equipment into for them to take to the boat. But when I boarded the board, my basket wasn’t on board. After 3 dives I didn’t feel safe or comfortable so decided to aboard the rest of my planned dives as I had a junior open water diver with me.

I did my PADI open waters course with Rene Svoboda as my instructor and the experience was smooth and pleasant! I was initially quite nervous, but Rene was very calm and patient throughout the course and ensured that we were well equipped with the necessary skills, through demonstrating and ensuring we practiced enough. It felt like the course was thoroughly explained and I grew more confident with Rene as my instructor. Thank you Rene for making my first dive so memorable!

Did my open water diver course here under instructor Renè. He was experienced, patient, really nice and overall a great person to learn from. He also went the extra mile to help me take photos during my training dives. Would highly recommend him for anyone looking to take up any diving courses. Shout out to all the other dive masters and staff there as well. They made diving there so smooth and enjoyable. Everyone was friendly and yet professional. Overall, diving with Cebu Fun Divers was super fun, perfect for vacationing.

I can't recommend learning to dive at Cebu Fun Divers enough! I wasn't sure what to expect. Went there with so many questions. The staff were so amazing. They took their time to help answer my questions and explain things to me. They made me feel very comfortable. I ended up opting to do my open water certificate because of how fantastic the staff were. I got great vibes and felt so comfortable and safe. My instructor was Gautier. He was AMAZING! So wonderful calm and reassuring. He has a great teaching style. Learning with Gautier was not only safe, and informative but also fun! A good teacher is hard to come by but with the confidence and calm that Gautier showed, I passed. I also feel like I have great information and direction for going forward. The location was also wonderful. Great to have the pool to practice in. To be able to practice on boat dives. To feel inspired by the ocean view. The restaurant at break time was also lovely. They are so accommodating here. I will 100% return to Cebu Fun Divers for more dives. If you're reading this wondering if you should go for your open water certificate with this company, I would advise 100% yes.

I did my open water license here and at the Savedra Dive Center (they cooperate) and I couldn‘t be happier. Everything is taken in small and totally doable steps. The gear is in a great condition and the reef is astonishing. All in all I had an amazing time and I can’t wait to go diving again, although I kinda feared the open blue beforehand… also big thanks to my diving teacher Rene who did a terrific job! Due to his calm, friendly, patient and funny teaching I felt save and well prepared at all times, whilst celebrating my progress. He definitely passed his passion to me!

My friends and I did our Open Water Diver course with Cebu Fun Divers and all had a great time. Our instructor Rene was very patient with us and made sure we mastered all the techniques while also enjoying the experience. If we go back for advanced courses, we will definitely have Rene coach us.

Cebu fun divers was a great school to do my open water certification!!! The team was super friendly, the equipment really well taken care of and the restaurant served really delicious Filipino food. My instructor Oscar took care of me so well and it was a really good experience.

I was diving with Cebu Fun Divers in July and I loved it! Although July is low season, the sea was calm and we had an occasional rain shower in the evening. The dive center is located in a beautiful resort overlooking the sea. I did dives on Pescador island and on the reefs just in front of the dive center. I saw healthy corals, many turtles and of course the sardine ball. Unfortunately I missed a whaleshark on two occasions but there is always next time. I'll be back for sure!

Amazing 5-day diving experience with Cebu Fun Divers! The equipment was clean and fully-functioning, and the instructors and dive masters are very experienced and professional. We love how the dive center is equipped with its own training pool, direct access to a small private beach for convenient shore dives and boat dives. It is also within 2 minutes walk of the Cebu Seaview Diving Resort, which is a wonderful place to stay.

I had a great experience doing my OW course here. Oscar my instructor was honestly the best; very warm, easy going and very knowledgeable. I felt I was in good hands the entire time! Their equipment was also top notch. All of the staff was just warm and friendly. Great dive shop at a really nice beach front resort. I highly recommend!

Did three dives with Cebu Fun Divers. Very efficient operation and nice instructors and divemasters. We saw plenty of sardines, colourful fish, and a couple turtles.

I did my padie open water course here. They were really professional. Our teacher Oscar was great to explain, take it easy when necessary and we felt really safe with him. On our first dive (at the shore) we saw turtles and a lot of beautiful coral and fishes. Our friends were already experienced and did 2 dives between the sardines. Definitely recommend diving place and to become a qualified diver!

The diving center is amazing! They picked us up from our hostel, everything was really well organized, great equipment, really enjoyable chill area between the dives with a nice pool and a good restaurant! We went for 3 dives and each was enjoyable in their own way! It might not be the cheapest place to dive in Moalboal but you receive great quality and it is worth it! The dive masters are really helpful, nice and take their job seriously! Definitely recommend

Our trip was very well arranged with different requirement for our gang, even with last minute changes. The teaching quality of the diving instructors we met here are all very good. They made sure the students were able to cope with all the skills, and they spoke really good English. Everything was so good, the only advice is it would be best if the staffs is more passionate towards our dive trips. Whereas for the resort, the portion of the food was too small!! Many of us would need to order additional set to fill their stomachs. We initially want to tip the staffs for their super friendliness, but draw back due to this reason. Price is superb. Very reasonable and worthy for what we've gotten. But the food does not affect our rating, as there are much more pros than cons. We will definitely come back again!

I can highly recommend the diving school. The resort is beautiful, the pool for the first sessions is great, then you go down a few steps and you're right in the sea. During the break you can eat delicious food directly in the resort. I did my open water padi with Oscar. He is a nice, patient and helpful diving instructor who explains everything calmly. I don't speak perfect English and the communication with Oscar worked well. I was lucky enough to be alone with him and completed my diving license within 2 days. However, only a maximum of 3 people are supervised by one instructor at any one time. As far as I understand, there are instructors who can speak German, French, Spanish and English. The email contact in advance was great and the answers came back quickly.

Had so much fun! People are so nice and very friendly. Did my Open Water Course with my Instructor Jimmela and it was the best choice and experience I ever had with her and at the dive shop.
