One of the best Filmex places I've been to! The signature kare-kare burrito is a must try and the potato chips is superb! Everything in the menu is for sharing so do try out as much variety as you can. It won't disappoint you ๐Ÿ˜‹

Hearty food that's delicious. I suggest Steak and Fries wrap. They have an al fresco dining area but also conveniently offers an accessible take-out stand outside. Somewhat affordable price. Parking is along the street.

The most legit Mexican restaurant in Manila hands down. You will not find another joint like this, I promise you. Seating is first come first serve. It gets quite busy so be prepared to come earlier or wait an hour for your order to come. (I can tell you which is also worth the wait.)

I had a great experience at Buen Comer Poquellas. I had their signature Kare Kare Burrito. I was unaware of what Kare Kare was and the cashier patiently explained the contents of the burrito to me. I ordered just the burrito and it came in a relatively timely fashion. The burrito itself was extremely flavorful and delicious, and came with some sauces that complemented the burrito perfectly. I found myself finishing all the sauces and the burrito and still wanting more. The pork in the burrito was well seasoned, with crunchy pork skin and a great bite to the pork. In terms of decor, the indoor space resembles a shed of sorts, but is quite clean and with a toilet and place to wash your hands. Fans are set up across the restaurant for a less hot dining experience. Interestingly, there was an area to put away rubbish after you are done eating, in a somewhat Japanese style. Buen Comer Poquellas has been one of my favourite dining experiences in Quezon City.

The kare-kare burrito tastes WONDERFUL. It actually works! The meat was tender and generous and the whole burrito was big enough for two if youโ€™re not too hungry. The nachos were a bit of a disappointment, I feel like Iโ€™m eating potato chips with dips. The toppings were sparse for the nachos, but still tasteful. Iโ€™d recommend the burritos but not the nachos.

Who would have thought that Kare - Kare can be in burrito? Not your typical food trip? You'll surely love it! The unique menu turned out a perfect blend plus it comes with an affordable price.

Burritos have less meat and more rice but the taste makes up for it! They even have a kare-kare burrito which is a must-try!

Mexican food here is always second to only (in my opinion) Silantro. The lines are always long but that's expected of a place with such good food. Everyone's there wanting to try it out or come back to the place which they consider as one OR the best Mexican place in Quezon City.

a little pricey but worth every peso. the portions are large, perfect to share or go solo for when you want to be full. even though the portions are large the flavor is still very much there. amazing place shocked i never heard of it earlier

  • 5/5 clarejavier3 1 year ago on Google
Generous serving. Could only top it if they would serve more garlic/burrito sauce with it. Even with fair amount of sauce, it's still great because it's already tasty as is.

Food is ok. Price is expensive, serving size is ok. Try the kare kare burrito but dont put the shrimp paste you'll regret it hahaha. Just use the white, green and red sauce. (Little bit greasy on the pork) must try the grilled chicken ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Payment method Gcash thru express send Bank transfer Cash Parking is a little bit tricky (Dont forget to buy ice cream from manong)

Big servings of comfort mexican food. I particularly like their nacho potato crisps, I order that every time I'm there. Eating area is a bit cramped.

This place in Quezon City may initially appear to be a simple eatery because of the simple interior. But the food is totally delicious and a must-try. This establishment serves various Mexican-Filipino fusion foods such as Kare-kare burrito. The taste was really good and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place.

I liked this place when they were still at the corner of Mapagkawanggawa and Mahabagin. Itโ€™s different now, service is bad considering the price of their food. Everything is self service, even packing of your left-overs. Other restaurant with this price range could give you a better service, ambiance and food quality.

Food was really really good! Sisig Quesadilla was a bit oily but really decadent โค๏ธ and the ultimate poquella wrap was really good but is lacking chicken pieces. Potato Nachos is oerfect and had a hefty serving

"Buen Comer Poquellas" is a fast food / food house in a garage. It is located in Mahabagin St., a 3 minute walk from Mapagkawanggawa St. that links Malingap St. and Maginhawa St. (a food hub street). Parking is limited for cars. You need to look at a nearby slot, which is mostly a residential suburb. Within the residential area, there is a cashier that can take your order. Payment can be in cash or GCash. I ordered a Poquellas, which looks like a large burrito consisting of fries, cheese, and a choice of chicken filling wrapped in a pita. There are separate complementary dipping sauces such as tomato salsa, mayonnaise, and guacamole. Ultimate Poquallas is their signature meal, and more pricey than other meal. They have delicious foods with a Mexican theme. Their dining area is a wide garage. Toilet is available, and its floor was covered with wood-like varnish, making it clean, and so the bidet is available. Wash area is separate. Trash bins are provided for convenience. They have a tray area used to return the trays in the designated area. Returning the same is a mark of courtesy. Their drinks, however, are separate. They don't serve water, so I decided to buy from them a mineral water for P30. Looking at the roof, surely you feel something different as the roof is dilapidated. ๐Ÿ˜ Moreover, the food is palatable. They are open from 11 am to 10 pm, except Monday. Frozen dimsums are ordered separately thru Lucky M Bakery, operated by the same owner.

Great value for money. Even though the place is packed, your food will be served in 5 to 7 minutes because the kitchen staff works the train efficiently. You can also see how it is made. They have a washing area and toilet and parking is limited. Itโ€™s street parking only. Park at your own risk. They are not open daily too. I took photos of the menu and their Facebook page. I ordered the chicken burrito and chicken Caesar wrap. They serve it wrapped in foil either you order for dine in or to go. The 3 sauces are helpful to the palette too. Comparing it to Taco Bell in PHL, I think the size of their burrito is twice of Taco Bell or one and a half. The chicken slices were plenty too. Did not order drinks and I donโ€™t think it was part of the menu but there is a sari-sari store beside who sells beverages. I think you can bring them in and give it back when youโ€™re done. The place has no air-conditioned area.

Buen Comer is, right from the get-go, a pretty hip and funky restaurant. The Tex-Mex food is tasty and made interesting with some novel fare thrown into the mix, such as the Caesar Salad Burritto and the nachos (that are actually potato chips made in-house!) I appreciated the variety on the menu, the friendliness of the staff, and the initiative to segregate waste (I just wish diners would follow through.) It's an open-air restaurant, though, so be warned that there is no air-con and definitely a few smokers outside the restaurant. I haven't explored it yet but I believe there's an option to dine in an air-conditioned room right beside the main restaurant, so that's something you can avail of if you want to avoid the smoke and enjoy some air-conditioned privacy. A convenience store (owned by the same people who own Buen Comer!) is nearby, so you can purchase your drinks from there. Overall, I can say that because of its delicious food, accommodating staff, and waste segregation initiative, Buen Comer is definitely a good place to dine with friends and family! โ˜บ๏ธ

You have to order and pay through text and viber your payment. Then pick up 3-6 pm. They are closed for indoor dining. Quality is the same, I tried and was happy with the sisig quesadilla. And also the kare kare burrito. Value for money

Why didnโ€™t I discover this place earlier? They have expanded from the humble food truck at the corner to the adjacent house to accommodate their growing clientele. Terrific burritos at very reasonable prices. And made fresh before you! The food has to be experienced. Come as a group, order different dishes and share! Oh, btw, no tienen cerveza so you wonโ€™t find anyone getting rowdy.

I highly recommend this hole in the wall place. The interiors are simple and al fresco, don't expect too much. The reason to visit, of course, is the food! The food offerings are reasonably priced and delicious. The serving size is large and filling. The service here is excellent as well! They even accommodate special request such as chicken for the cajun fries instead of pork.

A great twist to comfort food, I usually go for the Steak and fries and Kare Kare Burito, the steak cuts are thick seasoned and tender. The Kare Kare burrito is heavy with generous cuts of in kare kare rice. Priced fairly enough considering what you get. The sauces abound, there is usually something for each of us in the family. The line can get long for take out, but its cooked as its ordered ...The down side? Parking it's gonna be a 2 man team 1 to park and 1 to order ...just be sure...
