Our second time visiting this place and because of the strong winds we weren’t able to climb on the top of the hill. But it is truly amazing seeing God’s creation. we just took our time here taking photos from below and since there are only few tourist we enjoyed the fresh air and strong cold winds of the place. they always keep the place clean. Good job ivatans!!!

The sight of the hills was breathtaking! There is a picture perfect spot where you can see both the sea and the hills. It was really cold and windy when we were there and had a hard time getting to and fro the edge. The view was worth it though!

A treasure if I must say. Green rolling hills (mountains) that are super lovely. You'll have to do a little trekking to see the whole place and its definitely worth it. Do it in the morning for a much colder feel and if you could catch the sunrise too. I can practically live in this place for the rest of my life. An exact definition of freshness.

Maybe the second best serenest and calmest place in the world (Itbayat is my first). Eye fest for earth tone cows on lush green meadows. Perfect for a morning jog (around 3 hours back and fort). Roads are also creatively planned to blend the terrain. Sunsets are best here too

Vayang rolling hills is past the route going to the Naidi light house. Nothing beats the majestic view of the hills and the sea along with the sea breeze. The wind from South China Sea intersect with Philippines Sea was so strong at this location. So if you lose your footing, be prepared to roll the hills.... But this hills really has a very great panoramic view of Batanes

The Basco Rolling Hills in Batanes are a surreal landscape straight out of a dream. I recently explored this natural wonder, and it left me in awe of Mother Nature’s artistry. The rolling hills stretch as far as the eye can see, blanketed in vibrant shades of green. It’s like a vast, undulating sea of grass that seems to go on forever. The gentle slopes create an almost hypnotic effect, making you want to frolic in the meadows like a carefree child. The scenery here is a photographer’s paradise. Every angle offers a new and captivating view, making it nearly impossible to take a bad picture. I found myself snapping away, trying to capture the essence of this breathtaking landscape. One of the most remarkable aspects of the Basco Rolling Hills is the feeling of solitude it provides. Despite being a popular tourist spot, it’s easy to find a quiet spot to reflect and connect with nature. The tranquility of the hills is something you won’t soon forget. Visiting during the early morning or late afternoon is a must. The soft, golden light casts long shadows and adds a touch of magic to the already enchanting scenery. Plus, the cooler temperatures make for a more comfortable experience. While the Basco Rolling Hills are a true gem, I did encounter a downside during my visit. The strong winds can make it a bit challenging to enjoy a leisurely picnic, so be prepared for some gusty conditions. However, this is a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things. In conclusion, the Basco Rolling Hills are a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and anyone seeking a peaceful escape. The picturesque beauty of this place is simply mesmerizing, and it offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the serene landscapes of Batanes. Don’t forget your camera, and be ready to be transported to a world of rolling green hills and tranquility.

Beautiful place. Make sure to tie your hair. Be mindful of the cows in the area. Hold your gadgets tightly and put some weight to resist strong winds.

One of the best place I've seen in my life. I want to commend Ivatan's that they was and still able to take care and maintain the great and beauty of God's given gift to them. This is really an awesome place! Got a chance to spend my night at well in rolling hills. We spent over night , star gazing to this place. It was really great experience.

very nice place to visit, it's like its not a place in the Philippines, went there twice during my 5-day stay, the first it was so windy, the next day it was very very calm
