We tried reserving our accomodations last August for an outing in November. They said they don't accept bookings yet. We kept calling them twice a week to check if they have already opened the slots for November. Finally, they told us we we're pencil booked 2 weeks ago but can't allow us to pay yet as they are expecting a price increase. Today, they suddenly cancelled our reservation without giving any reason. We tried calling them but they are not answering the phone nor are they answering text messages. The reservation process is very stressful from our experience with no proper system in place. I hope their reservation officers can be more helpful and honest to their customers.

We had a short but comfortable and relaxing stay at Kahel. Our bedroom is clean and it smells good. They offer the best meals and their staff are accommodating. We like that it is beach front, the beach is clean, peaceful, far from the busy area of Elyu. We highly recommend this place for their facility, restaurant, location, cleanliness and service. Best for couples or small family only because they don’t have big rooms.

We went here to eat at their restaurant because it was recommended by my friend. I didn't check-in the Resort. Their food is really delicious. We are a party of 8 people and we ordered different food and they are all super yummy. There is queue to get a table proof that people visit their restaurant because they really have good food. They have a few staff to serve a jammed pack restaurant so waiting time for everything is long. Nevertheless the wait for great food is worth it.

Amazingly good quality cross over food and high standard service at the restaurant. Good choice of beverages. Nice modern architecture with an infinity pool as the centre, facing the ocean. We unfortunately stayed at another hotel next door where we got very disappointed by all the prior mentioned and at Kahel we found a place where we got treated like house guests why we spend our days and evenings there and only went back to our hotel to sleep there. We would love to come back and stay at one of the lovely rooms with ocean view, but my wife cannot travel without her Chihuahua, that's her certified service dog. We would be so happy when the management of Kahel could make an exception here.

Brilliant Resort! One of the best resorts I have seen on my home town. Perfect for intimate experiences with people worth sharing them with. Not only do they have the view for it, but their establishment exudes luxury. Activities would include one of their popular attractions which is the infinity pool, sea side amenities, and my favorite, Kayaks! Will most probably be a regular there because of the kayaks. Only peeve I had was that if only there were bidets on their common areas. But over all, it was a great experience.

Great dining experience by the beach! The staff are accommodating - from parking to bill out. Love the food here, almost all the ones we ordered are truly worth their prices. The beach front dining area is usually not crowded. There is ample parking space for all guests too. This is located along San Juan but far from the main surfing area so you get to enjoy some sort of privacy with the soft, warm breezy beach alobg with a sumptuous lunch/dinner.

Trendy hotel and restaurant, chill vibe, beachfront. Great place to catch the famous LU sunset if you want to get away from the Urbiztondo crowded restos and bars. Food is a bit pricey vs taste. Service makes up for it.

Kahel Resort's restaurant is really a must-visit whenever in La Union. Good food and healthy selection. Servers and staff are courteous, friendly and attentive. The view is also scenic, and the place is quiet.

Kahel Resort is one of the few resorts that you will actively enjoy your stay. Their staffs are accommodating, the foods are good and most especially I really enjoyed their drinks. Also, their rooms are clean. Easy access for food trips and tours. You can also ask for their receptionist to attend you a tricycle driver if ever you want to eat outside their turf. Overall the experience is good and nice. I will surely comeback here👏

The place was not difficult to find, it is where google maps directs you. Resort may not be that big but it's very clean and very elegant. They follow strict covid19 protocol for all guest. Staff are very friendly and hardworking. They also have a restaurant inside which serves food in good quantity and quality at a reasonable price. You can choose to swim on the beach or the pool (only for checked-in guests). The room we check-in was clean and very comfortable. This place is highly recommended if you want some place quiet. Will recommend this to friends and definitely will come here again.

Stayed here for two nights with my family. Got the beach front view room and the price difference from other rooms is super worth it. Imagine sunset watching at the comfort of your own room! The beach is clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed swimming in it. It doesn't have the white sand from other popular beaches but it has it's own charm. The food in their restaurant are all delicious (at least those that we tried) and the servings will not disappoint even the big eaters. And also prices are reasonable. Lastly, the staff are all accomodating and friendly. If you are looking for a chill and quiet resort in LU. This is for you!

I would give Kahel 100 stars if Google allows me to! Everything here is perfect, the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly staff, even offered to shelter us under his umbrella because of the hot weather- talk about service! The front office staff (didn’t get her name) was very helpful and warm too. The restaurant staff was also very warm and welcoming and kindly assisted us with our queries. We were greeted by warm smiles and the known Filipino hospitality which made our stay even better and comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and we especially loved the small veranda outside our room. The entire resort was charming that makes you crave to stay for more days. Breakfast was glorious! Presentation, taste, quality, and portion were all on point. Too bad we only stayed for a night, but Kahel will definitely be our top choice if we ever swing by Elyu again. Thank you Kahel team for giving us one of the best staycation experience.

it's far from the main surf area you need to take tricycle cost is pricey it's 7k a night it's so relaxing here service is great pool and beach view is amazing! not crowded good music realy nice food

We just had lunch here. The view of the beach is so wonderful! We ordered Chicken tinola in gata, Surf and Turf, Kahel Special Sisig, lemonade and melon shakes. Oh! And the fruit platter! We enjoyed everything that we ordered! Everything was scrumptious as it looked like. The service is also excellent! We will surely come back here to spend a night or two because we enjoyed the service and the food! It's definitely a must visit when you go to San Juan La Union of you want to be far from the crown and just enjoy some peaceful time.

5 star service! The place is really nice. Cozy vibes, very relaxing. Just 10 minutes away from the busy area of San Juan. Room is very clean. All amenities were properly maintained. Their wifi connection is stable too so you can work from the resort with no issues. Their free breakfast is so good that you’ll look forward to it every morning. They offer a variety of dishes too. Their staff are very accommodating. They were definitely the highlight of this place! Good food, great ambiance, friendly staff. Must visit in La Union!

Had the perfect overnight staycation with friends. Will definitely book again if ever I'm in the area. Love the modern architecture and the quiet ambiance, and the beachfront view.

We only visited to have our dinner and what a pleasant surprise, the food was amazing! Missed the “danggit and tuyo” so I had the “seaside comfort” from the all day breakfast. It was great! Not having for 6 years “danggit and tuyo” made it having perfectly from Kahel Resort. A must go to place for a great food and the friendliest staff! Thank you to the waiters and staff of the Kahel Restaurant.

The place is nice,good for picture taking.😊 There is a pool beside the restaurant,just big enough for a few hotel guests. Anyway, who needs the pool if the beach is just a few steps away?😁 Why come to La Union,if you're looking for a swimming pool? Of course you have to enjoy the beach! My son liked their Fish & Chips, their Surf n Turf is alright. Drinks are too expensive.☹️ The restaurant staff that assisted us was very welcoming and friendly, 5 stars for him! Sorry I forgot to get his name. Overall, i think the price of their food is a little too expensive. Service is good, food is served quickly,well,maybe because there were just few guests at the time we're there. They accept cash, credit/debit cards, & Gcash.

I am so pleased to have found this hidden gem in La Union. We are travelling as a family with 2 kids. Location is topnotch. Beachfront and a 5 minute drive away from the crowded San Juan proper. The beach is clean and my kids enjoyed swimming a lot. Sunset is superb. The hotel has only 10 rooms so even if they're fully booked, the place does not feel cramped. Although one thing i would love is an indoor playground for the kids when it's too hot to swim outside. Also more spots to lounge in when you want to hide from the sun. Food is excellent. We loved the (very pretty) plated breakfast and it was enough to fill our bellies every morning. We also tried lunch their crispy noodles, house special sisig, pizza margherita and fish tacos. All were super yummy but my fave is the tacos. It was so goood! Service is excellent. They always call me by my first name and attends to all my concerns happily and with urgency. The hotel will now be our go to whenever we're in La Union. Thank you Kahel Resort for giving us a very wonderful stay!

Kahel Resort is a nice place to book for your family vacation. The rooms are and the staff are so nice. They are always willing to help and proactive in offering the best option for every customer. It has an in-house restaurant where various meals are offered. The free breakfast has a lot of serving, which is actually surprising compared to other resorts. They will also give you complimentary pancake aside from the one you've picked for breakfast. The rooms are simple but elegant, perfect for the family or for couples too. All of the rooms on the 2nd floor have their own balcony with tables and chairs outside. Perfect if you want to just drink and chill while looking at the beach. Each room had their own wifi, too. The pool is small, but that's what makes the experience intimate when you go here with your family. It's also beside the restaurant so if you get hungry while eating, then you can just order from there. They also offer a massage (swedish, ventosa, lava stone, etc). If you want to avail yourself of this service, you need to inform the front desk as early as possible. Overall, this is a good place to stay at La Union. It is worth every penny.

We’re here for the food. We keep coming back on special occasions. This one’s a birthday celeb. Recommending crispy pata, kare-kare, fish rice, tacos, nachos, pizza!! Everything tasted good and the price is just suliiit 🫶🏾

Fiance and I stayed here for vacation per recommendation from a colleague. Location is a few km away from the night life so if you prefer your San Juan resort to be walking distance from the crowds, this resort might not be for you. But if you prefer a more quiet and private place to relax and unwind, this is perfect. We also only travelled by bus so we had to take another tricycle to get to the resort. Had a problem on our first night but the management was very understanding and generous of their compensation. Rooms have a modern design with complete amenities! Even their fridge was 2-3x the size of the standard fridge in most hotels. Was not expecting those since it's a small size hotel with less than 15 rooms I think. The very highlight in our stay is the food which is just THE BEST. Portion sizes were huge like 2-3 servings per dish considering also the price. Afam fiance is a foodie who loves to cook said food here was the best he tried here in the PH. We ordered same food on different days and the taste and quality were always consistent. Too bad they had limited menu for desserts, but that's just me lol. Would also praise the staff because ALL of them were very friendly and attentive. Their English was also very good which is of course not a must but very noteworthy. Their energy doesn't seem to differ throughout their shift as if they really enjoy their job. None of them were rude or "nangmamata" but the exact opposite (coming from experience from other "high-end" restaurants/bars). Kahel Resort is a definite recommended resort in LU. Even if you're not staying overnight, the restaurant is a MUST TRY 😍

Despite being understaffed, the restaurant staff are still accommodating and attentive to our needs. If you have an adventurous palette, this place is right for you as most of their foods are fushion- inspired. I do not like eating raw foods/ceviche, but I surprisingly enjoyed their Poke Stack - no wonder why this is their best seller. Foods are shareable in portion which is a good compromise for its hefty prices. Serving of foods can be slow - we always wait 30 to 40 minutes before foods are served to our table. I highly suggest to reserve a table and order foods in advanced.

Very beautiful place to go to when you want to chill out...open air...there is a pool and an infinity pool on the southern part...foods are delicious, staff are so nice...they are also very courteous. Two-thumbs up!!!!

The room we got has an aircon that was dripping. The place was nice though and the staff was very polite and helpful. The place is a few minutes away from the main attractions.

Spent our Christmas eve dinner here. Super loved their food - surprisingly generous with their serving. 👌🏻👌🏻 Accommodating staff. Everyone we met here were sooooo nice. The place was quiet, our table was about a few walks from the beach. Very satisfied with their service most especially with their food!

Amazing personalized service. Wonderful kitchen. Stayed here for 7 days and the freshly-cooked compli breakfast is just a great start of the day. Beachfront and with a pool. And with only 10 rooms, I usually just have the pool by myself, definitely appreciate that the property is not overly crowded. It gets busy during dinner time which says a lot about the quality of the food they serve...really really good food! 👌 Highly-recommended! Will definitely go back!

Not at the surf center but the resort is kind of boutique styled and the rooms are well appointed. Located in a quiet side of the beach kinda like Station 1 in Boracay. Their restaurant food is well thought off. The shore infront of the resort is sandy and shallow with clear warm water.

I visit this place for lunch, and food is great, also the view is also good. There is a swimming pool besides the restaurant. There is also access to the beach area. The only problem I noticed is the one way street going in and small parking area, although there is an annex parking. But worth coming because of the good views and good food

The is food & drinks are deliciously superb. The staff are very accommodating and has a very nice services from the guard to waiters. The place is simple but beautiful and clean. I'll be back again to taste all their different kind of menu..

Food was absolutely amazing! Must haves are the Spiced Chicken Soft Tacos and Poke Bowl. Unfortunately, they didn't have the Fish Soft Taco which definitely would have been up to par with the rest of the food. Went for dinner and place was no crowded at all.

Lovely beach front resort with its own pool and restaurant. Quieter area around a 10 min drive from the more popular spots (Flotsam etc) - which is perfect if you want a little more privacy but still want to be close to the action. Food and service are great. Rooms are nothing too spectacular but they’re clean and spacious enough for 2-3 pax. Overall, would recommend and return
