Start early to avoid the tropical heat, and be prepared for some wet, slippery parts. The views of Cebu City up here are hard to beat!

One of the best places to go camping and breathe heavenly air beautiful panorama view of the city. The peak isn't a big area for campers and is rocky nor have much level ground but it's big and good enough to rough it out overnight. There is a lower level to camp on with greener grass but on the peak has the grand view of the city.

The trail leads you through rivers and waterfalls. It can be a bit challenging for newbies but there is a "backdoor" route to the camping site which leads you to the peak in just minutes.

Famously called as Mt. Kan-irag. You can access this from different trails in either three barangays - via Budlaan, Malubog, or Sirao. A good place to sweat yourself out. There are good campsites around the peak for an overnight stay. From the top you can get a nice view of Cebu and its neighboring cities. Night view from the peak is just superb.

It’s a lovely place to visit, a cool getaway from the city’s traffic and crowds. A smart young lady offered to be our tour guide to get to the peak. We had fun!

Highly recommend this place. Easy trek, great campsite. Do go there early to secure a good site to pitch a tent; sleep under the stars and wake up to the majestic sunrise.
