This is such a little gem and probably the best place to dine in Louth at the moment. The early bird is excellent value for money with a really extensive menu. Highlights of our group were the mussels, chicken Kiev and steaks. Service is very friendly. One small suggestion, the spelling of Kiev could be changed to Kyiv to show solidarity with Ukraine.

It's not the best review, unfortunately. Lovely little place. The staff was really nice. Just had to ask for water 3 times. Food, unfortunately, is not as good as it used to be. The wine menu is big enough to kill a small to medium-sized cow, massive overkill for the restaurant. I get it, The owner is a wine professional, but unfortunately, the restaurant isn't, and in making something so large and extravagant, they have unintentionally made it look silly. A simple fix would be to have 4-5 wine menus that match 4-5 food menus and change each fortnight. Making it a novelty for people to go. Showing off the skill of the chiefs while showing the magnitude of the wines available. Not sure, from the word in the groups, the owners are more worryed about wine than the restaurant. Witch is cool if they are happy.

Excellent dining experience, lovely staff and great atmosphere! Very authentic and would very happily visit again! The food is extraordinary, very flavourful and not to mention generous! Staff was great throughout, very attentive and friendly! I wish I took more pictures of the food because words don't do it justice. We had some of their signature cocktails which were beautifully presented and very tasty! Not a particularly huge wine-drinker, but one of the most extensive and impressive wine-lists I've ever seen in a restaurant in Ireland. If you're a wine drinker, put this in your bucket list! No other words other than fantastic!

The venu had an amazing ambiance. There food was delicious. The experience was unique with an excellent and well thought out and designed menu, Its any foodies dream. Perfect for families or a romantic day or night out with your partner. I will definitely recommend the N0.3 wine bar & restaurant. It should be called NO.1

We had a table booked for 2 people on a Friday evening. We were brought to a tiny table. We had just very limited space while the table next to us was double the size and it was unoccupied for the whole evening while were at the restaurant. There was a good wine selection, however the bottle of white wine that we selected was brought as red wine by error. We were waiting a good few minutes for the correct selection to be brought to our table. The staff did not seem to have the experience and skills to open a bottle of wine and to serve wine from a bottle to a glass wine. Our choice for starters were a bowl of mussles which it was very nice, however the starter plate of prawns wasn't that nice. The main courses we had was cod and halibut. The cod was a very small portion from the tail end, and the halibut was an adequate size portion that was overcooked and extremely dry. Total bill came to 112 euros for 1 bottle of wine, 2 starters a 2 main courses. No coffee nor desert included. Overall our experience was not great for comfort, service and value/ quality of food.

The food is beautiful here! Lovely decor. Seating let's it down. Our main course did take almost 1 hour to get to us (and was cold on arrival to the table, so sent it back for fresh one) and the seats are a bit uncomfortable but we still enjoyed our meal.

My first visit to No 3, and I'll definitely return. The menu is extensive and the drinks menu is more than extensive - it would take quite a while to get thorough both of them, hence my plan to visit again. We had 2 starters, 2 mains and shared a desert. The food was very tasty and well presented, my belly of pork special was "melt in the mouth" tender. I could go on but I think you get the picture, a lovely establishment with good food, efficient friendly staff and interesting decor. Looking forward to my next visit.

Booked a table last minute on a Saturday evening and was accommodated. We were out in the marquee for 8pm and had the joy of lovely music and it was heated. The drinks menu is massive, loads of non alcoholic choices which is great for the designated driver. The food was OK, there was good and bad parts. I had the gnocchi to start and it was disappointing, it could of had more flavour . My partners chicken wings were absolutely amazing. I had the kyiv for my main, the kyiv itself was dry and overdone but the suaces, the mash and the veg were amazing. My partners steak was on the chewy side but the sides were all amazing. We has a crumble to share and it was delicious. The service was phenomenal, the staff were very attentive. The atmosphere in the marquee with the live music was lovely.

Really lovely food. Great variety on the menu. They do tapas which is great! Cocktails are lovely a little over priced I think, Dublin price Cocktails but overall a lovely restaurant.

We were recommended this restaurant from the Collon B&B. The food was some of the best food I have ever had. The mussels were to die for. The drinks had fresh purée in them, a sophisticated delight.

Best food in Ireland. Couldn’t fault anything about the place. The food was great, the service was top notch, the staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was nice. I had the Brioche burger one night and it was delicious, quality ingredients cooked perfectly. I returned the next night and had the chicken kiev dish and that was just as good. If I was in the area again I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here.

Fantastic food and service. Really cosy atmosphere especially near the bar area . The waitresses were very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. Menu would suit every palate and if you are celiac or gluten intolerant you will not find a better place . Try the mussels with chorizo...... 10/10 The early bird menu is fantastic value at €25 for two courses ( paid the extra €8 for the sirloin steak ) ......... So good . Go for the bottle of house red which is great value as apposed to the glass . Great restaurant for a couple or more . Highly recommend.
