Great experience, wonderful service and really tasty & delicious food. Very happy and excited for the next time I get to come here. It was our first time and a bit far from where we live but definitely worth the trip. update: still great

This restaurant is superb! Highly recommend. The food is always delicious, no matter how I order.. what I order or what changes I ask on a menu item, it’s always served up exactly the way I ordered it. The atmosphere is extremely relaxing and quiet; No loud obnoxious music.. I can actually have a conversation with the people that attend with me and not have to yell. The customer service is always kind, non judgmental and extremely polite. And the first time I tried this restaurant out (over a decade ago), I complimented the restaurant on how beautiful the restaurant style “napkin” (which is what the silverware was wrapped up in) was and asked if it would be okay to take one home; they asked whoever was there at the time and they allowed me to keep and take home one of their beautiful napkins. I know it’s probably something most people would think “it’s just a napkin”.. no it’s really not, it was definitely something that was custom made for their restaurant and it definitely wasn’t cheap (or at least I don’t think it’s cheap). It’s truly beautiful and I still have that napkin to this very day. I’ve moved twice in the thirteen years that I’ve been here and I still have this napkin folded an stored in a keepsake box. I hope this restaurant sticks around for a long time. I’d like to introduce my future kids and friends to this place. Good fortune and happiness to your staff and restaurant! ❤️

My first time eating here and it was fantastic! My friends and I were seated promptly and our drink order was taken immediately. Everything was cooked to perfection and we had no complaints. Absolutely DEF recommend 👌

The food was exceptional! By far the best Chinese food in the L/A area if not Central Maine. It didn’t taste nearly as salty or heavy as a lot of other places. The wait staff were great, consistently checking in on us. I will definitely be back and/or order take out!

For two people if you get an appetizer you will spend right at or just over $70 but it will be the best Chinese food you will ever have not only that but they have the best chicken wing appetizer I have ever had. So worth going there over and over again I love this place I moved up here from Florida last year and this is so good better than anything you will find in Florida that's for sure.

This is one of my families favorite restaurants because the food is incredible, the staff are very kind, and the price is very reasonable for the quality of food! We got the nutty rice, chicken rice noodle, and Mongolian beef with fried rice! 10/10

This is my go-to place for Chinese food and I'm surprised to see I haven't reviewed them yet! Wei-Li has exceptionally fresh tasting food and great service every time (I may be recognized as a regular at this point). Anytime I visit with someone that has never been I tell them "be prepared to have the food ruin you for all other Chinese restaurants, you will never want to go anywhere else again." My favorite is the dinner box because you can get a little bit of everything.

This is my favorite Chinese place in the area! My family loves it here. It is a little more pricey than other locations but the quality is worth it. Good portions and the staff are very friendly everytime we've been. Also love that they don't use msg in their food. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new place to try.

Oh my, BEST Chinese food in the state! And we’ve had our fair share of great Chinese food, but this restaurant tops them all. Fresh delicious dishes. I would return a hundred times over for the food alone, but add the fact their staff is so incredibly kind and offer tremendous service. We were out with family, with our 5 month old and 3 year old son after a long day outdoors. My husband bounced our 5 month old on his knee while my 3 old year napped on my lap, while we both ate our dinner. Multiple members of their staff enthusiastically offered to hold our baby, as well as another table for my toddler to stretch out and nap so we could finish our meal. I would recommend this family owned restaurant again again! Thank you for a lovely meal. You have new regulars now.

Meals and staff were fantastic. Gourmet style portions, and everything was prepared to your personal spice tolerance. Spicy dishes are scored from a 1-5. I chose level 4, I had the general chicken and was the first meal that didn't taste the same as the sweet and sour chicken that most places pass off as General Tso' s Chicken with a couple hot peppers thrown on the plate. Truly authentic dining experience. Very clean and updated seating and design as well. Highly Recommended. 👍 👍

So many choices, it’s hard to pick. The lo mein w/shrimp, bean curd w/orange sauce & brown rice that we decided on were so delicious! First time there but definitely won’t be the last. Friendly, courteous service.

This is the most wonderful Chinese food experience I’ve ever had. It was like re discovering what good Chinese food is. And I have tried all of them around auburn and surrounding areas. Staff is efficient and very friendly to talk to. I actually felt welcomed unlike a lot of other restaurants in general in this area. 100/10 I will come here for Chinese food from now on. Thank you Wei Li and family for making my wife and I have a wonderful dinner we won’t forget!

I have never ordered from here before, the food was absolutely incredible! The exception was the chicken fingers.. I was not a fan of them at all. I felt they were too greasy and the breading just came apart in my hands. Kinda felt like the grease they were cooked in may not have been hot enough? Beef Teriyaki sauce was the winner for my girlfriend and I. The atmosphere was very calming and the staff were incredible as I waited for my order. Definitely will try them again.

Tried to order... 4 dishes ($50+). Was looking forward to trying the food - they have a nice website. When I asked if duck sauce was included, they said 1 (for four dishes) and there would be a charge for extra?! Cancelled order and drove to hometown where ducksauce is part of each meal. Glad I didn't ask for mustard!

Very attentive servers. They work with a fervor and my wife and I were blessed by our visit. The food was so great but we were more happy with the people who were working very hard to serve so many.

Went to have dinner with my family. We were recommended here because there are no MSG options, which we were excited about. When we arrived, the dining room was overall quiet, then progressed into dinner over the hour and a half we were there. It was over 5 minutes from our arrival to be greeted, and our food took over 40 minutes to come to our table. Our meals were very salty and otherwise underseasoned. This may all have just been an off-day for the staff as I have heard so many positive things about this restaurant, but we were disappointed in the food and service.

This place was recommended by my husband's coworker. Wow! We are glad we tried it! Everything was really good. My son went to pick up the order, and he said that everyone was so nice. We ordered egg rolls, crab Rangoon, appetizer plates, and fried dumplings. Everything was excellent. We will be back!

It was ok.. they no longer have sushi which was kinda disappointing. The staff were very sweet but apparently they were short staffed. They had a kid menu which was nice. The food was bland but I think it's for health reasons. 36 to feed my three Littles and myself. Not bad! Definitely seems like a place older people go to eat but it was lunch on a Thursday.

Very nice family owned and operated Chinese restaurant. Excellent food, and includes healthy selections that are low sodium, low fat, and no msg. The service was excellent and there are enough tables and staff that the wait time is short to none. Plenty of parking, convenient location. Definitely recommend!

Always the best! Can’t find any comparable restaurants for this type of cuisine anywhere. I’m out of state and come here every time I visit.

My husband and I make it a tradition (almost 6 years now) to come to Wei Li for a Christmas Eve treat. The food is phenomenal and the staff work so hard but maintain a smile always. We travel over an hour to get here but it is worth it every time.

Best chinese food around. Tasty and does not leave you feeling yucky like other Chinese food restaurants. A little more pricier but well worth it!

loyal customer. i order takeout 1 a month for years having 6 kids i spend over 100$ on food and last night i ordered . they completely changed how they make the general chicken without warning. it WAS the best meal they had. won’t be back.

The food here is amazing. Long wait on take out on weekend nights. High prices but ,worth the money if you love Chinese food.

I ordered last night and got the same thing we always do. It tasted like it was days old. Very disappointed. I will say this is the first time this has ever happened at this place they usually are the BEST. but when you spend 60$. You at least expect fresh food.

I’ve been here several times over the years and one thing that is striking is their consistency. When you order a meal you’ll get the same thing every time and it’ll always be fantastic. Each entree I’ve tried I’ve loved. My only gripe is that I’m not a big fan of their appetizer food but otherwise you’ll find they’re usually quite tasty. All in all, Wei Li is worth going out of your way for and if you find yourself in the LA area definitely stop by and give it a try.

Merry Christmas! I wanted to leave a 5 star review for Wei Li. We waited an hour later than our scheduled pickup time yesterday on Christmas Eve for a food order for 12 people, and we live an hour and a half away near Bangor. We heated up all our food today for the entire family on Christmas and it was absolutely phenomenal! No one had any complaints and everyone was very happy with their meal. Definitely worth the wait and the entire family will be back anytime we are around the Lewiston-Auburn area. Merry Christmas to you all!
