This is a place to hold people hostage and take away every human right they have! Do not ever say or do anything that will get you sent here because you will be deprived, physically assaulted, denied a shower and made to eat Meat even against your religion and if you refuse they will threaten you with feeding tubes! You won't see a Dr while your here ever! They are government funded so all they want is to fill beds and have the police seek their next victims for them! A law suit will be filed and they will be going to federal court! Please don't ever go here or send your loved ones here, you get treated worse than a dog at the pound!!

I was unvoluntarily sent to the crisis unit for accident for six days. It was literally more like jail than anything. The room was crowded full of people I had nowhere to sit. I slept in a chair. A very cold, hard cement chair, and after the trauma experience of what happened in the situation this was not the place I needed to be. I had no help. I got no medication, and it literally probably would’ve been better in jail than at this place. they were putting people down with shots of im pretty sure was Thorazine was the right name I heard, don’t know, but they were injecting people that were combative and putting them out like a light. It was very traumatizing to See I was not given medication and I felt like I was treated horribly here. I don’t not recommend this place, and I would stay away from it. I was so scared and traumatized by this place.

A loved one I know got bonded out early and was promised to be let out and free. Instead they immediately took him here and he is treated VERY poorly by the staff. While talking to the loved one on the phone, he mentioned that there are fights inside and nobody does anything about it. And he mentioned that the supervisor made him think he was going to be let out. Instead, she said that he was crazy and that she never said that. It’s almost like they’re TRYING to make the people there go CRAZY! He is VERY scared and wants to be let out but they’re preventing him to. THEY’RE LIARS! 😡😡

Inhumane conditions for mentally ill or unstable people. Predatory behavior by staff. Staff are unprofessional and pathetically bad at their jobs. Never seen employees care less about their jobs than these people. Dirty, disgusting facility to boot. This place should be shut down ASAP. Even North Koreans would be appalled.

I understand the purpose of this establishment is to make the world a safer place but Im thoroughly convinced this place is hell on earth! This place made me more suicidal than i already was and what added to it, was that i was not able to call my support system for no more than 20 minutes a day. Do not voluntarily or even associate yourself with this place if at all possible. My recommendation and what i needed at the time was an oasis at which i could recover from and forget about: my rent, my work and my dysfunctional family.

This place saved my life. I was homeless, trying to get off drugs, no where at all to stay, no vehicle, no food, during covid, and it was summer. I walked in not even knowing what the place was, just saw the sign community bridges and thought I’d ask if they know where I can find help. I was there all day until they closed, was hot, hungry , thirsty, there was lots of crazy people, but the staff was amazing. Not judgmental, and didn’t give up till they found me a place to go. I went to rehab got sober and got my life back together. If you truly want help this place will help you.

Just left this place after trying to get help for my diagnosed Anxiety from my Autism. I asked them to close the door because there was too much noise and they ignored me and told me I was okay. Literally a NP, trained in medicine, told me I didnt need the door closed. I couldnt focus after this incident and had a major anxiety attack when i got home. How can a medical professional whos been told you have Autism tell you you dont need something. As a person with Autism I am a very literal person, at the end of my serssion they told me to "WAIT IN THE LOBBY" So i did as i was told. After waiting for 2 minutes i realized i was given an order i didnt need to follow so i asked the girls at the front if i needed to stay. They went and asked and said i was free to go which i replied, "I wish they would have told me that from the start" I get a snarky response from the receptionist "While it was only 2 minutes" IT WOULD HAVE BEEN 10 MINUTES IF I NEVER SAID ANYTHING" Why tell me to wait in the lobby when i dont need to? Not a safe space for people!!!! They don't know how to speak to patients. This is not a "safe space" IMO.

This facility is horrible and will only make you or or loved one feel worse than when they went in. The room where the patients are is crowded, loud and staff seems to ignore patients. There is no peace while staying here, and you have to watch your back even when using the shower or restroom. There is no hot water here, so enjoy using an ice cold shower. Please, if you have any other choice, send your loved one somewhere else. This is not the place to receive courteous care and mental health support.

I still have nightmares about this place, don't bring anyone here for mental health problems. It'd be more humane to let them live on the streets, at least there they have freedom.

This place is absolutely horrible. Should be shut down. This is not where you send people who want to end their own lives. It is dirty, unsanitary, food is awful, staff is rude and physical, staff also laughs and treats everything as if its a joke. I will be making it a mission that this place is shut down.

This placed helped my loved one!! I see so many bad reviews it’s ridiculous. People put themselves in the situation it’s not the Hilton nor Marriott people stop blaming the staff! Try to understand way they operate the way they do. It’s a place to help people and half of those people are drug addicts. As I said they helped my brother!! He understood and expected when he walked through them doors not to blame or judge of how it looked or how they treated him. He said they were actually nice and respectful.

Horrible, the ladies at the front desk are rude. I know they deal with awful patients and the mentally ill. But if you let that get to you and you’re rude to everyone else’s that’s on you. You shouldn’t be working with the public if you can’t handle it. And they clearly can’t. Most of them shouldn’t be working there. Don’t waste your time here if you are trying to get sober and help. This is the only place in Mesa to get medication and services quickly. But they don’t follow through. I had to go here three times before I actually received therapy. They take your phone and treat you like your gong to harm someone or yourself. I had one session and the girl said she was leaving and had to find me a new therapist. Never received a call. I’m sick of having to do their job for them. I have spent 30 minutes of my lunch calling phone number after phone number. Trying to dig through a rabbit hole. I have been without my medication for two months and they told me I had to come back. I am sober now and they don’t care about patients running out of medication, or not receiving the services they pretend to offer. I’m calling my insurance finding a new place and having to start this process all over. So please save yourself some time and frustration and go somewhere else for services.

This company is by far the worst or fighting for last place. They take advantage of vulnerable populations and extort them for their ahcccs insurance they say they have a “no wrong door policy “ but that’s just so they can keep billing on someone without actually getting them the help they need. The directors of the company are money hungry tyrants who care absolutely nothing about their employees which in turn causes low to none existent moral which in turn means your loved one will be treated poorly. There are great staff that work on the floors but anytime they really try to help a patient the directors shut it down because they can’t keep billing off that person. It is extremely sad if you care about your self or another loved one never let them receive services from this company find somewhere else that will truly care about them not how much money they can get from them.

Disrespected me, my family, and also disrespects everyone that goes there. This place is corrupt and needs to be investigated and then shut down. The employees don't care and they're all former gang members, active gang members, or drug addicts. This place is unsanitary, unsafe, and inhumane. They run this place like a concentration camp. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here and they put me through hell and completely disrespected me and my human rights. The food is horrible, they give you a thin sheet for a blanket, and they only let you use the phone once a day if you're lucky. They also tricked me into thinking I was going to get killed when I was in there. Terrible place and you should think twice before sending anyone you love here.

Was seen by Alex Ikechi, NP during a brief involuntary stay at Community Bridges. I still feel strongly enough about the subpar treatment I received from him to make an effort to enlighten the community of the danger & negligence this man poses in the medical field, particularly in mental health. He did not listen to my side of the story with the intent to understand and added details that were not present in the original report that negatively affected me. I have been upset about my treatment at CPEC 358 E Javelina Ave. Mesa, AZ 85210 (including the fact that they do not allow people to read laws and disclosures posted on wall) for quite some time but to my knowledge currently there is no recourse. I find it alarming to think of all the people Alex Ikechi has seen and the low likelihood that he tried to de-escalate or find out what really happened from people who are already upset from being in a facility where they are not free to leave. I pray for Alex Ikechi to find peace and a new career path.

My experience with your facility was horrible. Your phone system does not work. The only way to speak with anyone is by going through the front desk. Phone messages were not returned, you did not get past medical records and your facility's communication with me, who has a release of information was none. Since you didn't get past records, nor speak with me, your facility gave medication which she is allergic to and she had a severe reaction. I left numerous messages asking to speak with the doctor in charge however I never got a call back. I hope your facility will revaluate your standard operational procedures.

The staff does the best with what they have. Low moral and increased mental illness due to COVID-19 will make anyone's job tough 🤷‍♂️

  • 4/5 Mike L. 1 year ago on Google
Was just there. Listen. If you have respect and patience with them you will get the same in return. Not the best place to be but your experience is all what you make it. You're not the only one in the room of 20+ being taken care of. Keep your head down. Have respect. Be patient.
