This airport has a great layout and accommodations. I love how there is a special room that locks in the woman’s bathroom that offers a changing table and a cushion for your little ones. The airport seemed very clean and most of the staff I dealt with was pleasant! Arizona is a hot state but the smoking patio seemed quaint. By the boarding gates they have a Panera Bread, a bar and a gift shop. The chairs by the boarding gates seemed worn and most were ripping. The only reason I’m not rating a 5/5 stars is because I noticed while waiting to check in that two older ladies at different times, pushed the button for assistance and were left for 15+ minutes. The first older lady tried calling help on the courtesy phone and when she had no luck she had to flag a worker down to get assistance. Other than that, it’s a pretty nice airport!

Extremely smooth airport experience. I have flown out of this airport a few times and each time it has been very relaxing. In contrast to the bigger airports, you are in and through security within a matter of 15 minutes. The staff are friendly. The gates are very close together and you don’t have to walk very far. Of course you do have a limited option of airlines that can fly from this airport and other similar smaller airports, but the experience didn’t seem to deter me from having a good experience. Parking, drop off, every part of the airport seems to be easier than major massive airports. I would highly recommend this airport if you have a connection city you can reach by flying out of this airport!

I'm a sucker for a small airport. Through TSA quick. A Panera, mexican restaurant and I believe one more(not definite). There is also a store for Arizona gear, snacks, magazines etc. Very clean, trash was taken care of and bathrooms were in tip top shape. Plenty of security. There are only about 7 gates. There aren't a lot of flights in and out of here. I fly allegiant mostly. When I come to the Phoenix area from now on this is where I will be flying into and out of from here on out even though it's a little out of my way. It's worth it. TSA and any other employee I came in contact with was very friendly. One thing to consider, there are no jetways at this airport. You enter the plane outside. This might be a little difficult for older passengers or ones with disabilities. Great airport with great employees! **** I saw an employee( maybe a maintenance man) help a traveler figure out his flight and gate info. I don't think the passenger spoke English. But this employee checked on him a couple times and even made sure he had food. I thought it was so kind and worth sharing.

Super small cute and clean. The smallest airport I've ever been too. Bathrooms were clean and everyone was friendly. And they do enforce federal mask mandates.

Love it! I’ve never had an issue here. As far as travel goes, you can get dropped off and get on to your plane pretty quickly, but the roads will get clogged pretty quick with drivers there to pick up passengers that have just landed. As a side note, Phx-Mesa Gateway has a lot of exciting and new aircraft that visit all the time for military training, firefighting, and other unique purposes. Planes will park right next to the airport fencing so you can see them up close. Just look for the small crowds of plane photographers when the jets are flying around and you’ll know where to go. Also keep a lookout for the smaller planes flown by student pilots, they are everywhere!

This is Phoenix’s secondary airport. Many regional small airlines fly from here. Allegiant being the primary airlines to fly from here. Tickets are cheaper to fly from here. The parking lot is bit away from the airport itself. There’s a shuttle service available to and from parking lot and airport. Parking is 8$ per night.

This Airport is really small. They have a Starbucks, Panera bread, & a little store for snacks, etc. The seating areas were fairly clean. The bathroom was clean. I flew with allegiant and their agents were nice. Tsa was also nice.

Beautiful, quaint airport - Easy to get around and easy to find where you need to go within and around the airport. Very friendly staff too. The rental car pickup and return process has gone incredibly smoothly for us as well here; plus, there is a gas station within a mile of the airport, so it's easy to fill up with gas in rental return day to ensure you've got a full tank of gas in the rental. The airport has a great coffee shop and gift shops here too! There are also beautifully manicured and staged rest/ waiting areas within the airport that help waiting be more relaxing. For those picking people up from the airport, there are shopping areas and a golf course also within a mile nearby to help occupy your time while waiting for a flight to land. We love flying in and out of this airport and will be back again, for sure!

It’s an hour from my house, but I love flying out of here. Small airport, with quick service. Allegiant flies direct to where I need to go and I find tickets more affordable than anywhere else. Great place to fly out of.

You can't fly everywhere from here but it sure is nice for a direct on Allegiant! It seems like most of the people are friendly. If you find yourself here and are wanting a coffee while you wait, check out Infusion Coffee! I got a blended white chocolate mocha. It was spot on! Very tasty! And the lady that was working there today was super nice.

Mesa Gateway is a great little airport. Currently, it has 10 gates (in the process of expanding) but has all the amenities you'd need. There are restaurants, a coffee shop, O.H.S.O. brewery and shops. The airport is well signed for ease of navigating wherever you need to go. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Wheelchairs are available if people need and the agent assist you onto the plane. Access to the airport is easy from either the North or the South. Highly recommend !!

This airport is easy to navigate. It has well marked signage for terminal, parking, and Airlines. We mostly use Allegiant Airlines. Their flights are affordable and direct to locations we visit. Within the airport terminal, there are restaurants, travel shops for quick grab snacks, drinks, leisure reading and travel necessities. The O.H.S.O brewery location served a delicious hearty breakfast and yogurt parfait. We’ll return next trip.

Great smaller airport. Parking was easy In and Out. Ticketing was located in a different building than the terminal. A little confusing, but there were people positioned to direct you where u need to be. TSA was a breeze compared to larger airports. I enjoyed practically NO line to get thru. Once you get thru into the secured area there's coffee and a few Eateries as well as a couple c-stores to pick up last minute conveniences. I really enjoyed utilzing this location. And I will in future again!

Love that it's not busy at all compared to Phoenix Sky Harbor... Just wish I lived closer to Gateway Airport!
