Short version: you can never have too many boba tea house choices. Tealight had friendly staff, plentiful parking, a clean store, and a good selection. Plus, if I read correctly, they also have a cup you can purchase & return for refills at a discount. Love that idea! Longer version: Popping into Boba Tealight was a last-minute decision. We had just eaten dinner in the area and were not fully satisfied with our meals so we did what we usually do in that situation, and looked for the closest boba tea house. The area around Tealight was large which meant finding a parking spot was not an issue, which is always a positive thing. There was only one other customer in the store, and the two employees immediately got out of their seats and went behind the counter to take our order. Both were very friendly. My sister ordered the drago-lychee at 50% ice / sugar levels. She enjoyed it but did say next time she would probably go full 100% on both ice & sugar. I ordered the chai milk tea; it was good but I do think it would have been better as a thicker smoothie (or icee) type consistency. I almost changed my order when I saw the Winter Menu staring me in the face - the peppermint matcha or peppermint chai milk teas sound divine. Perhaps if we're in the area again soon, we'll stop in and give them a try. Sounds like a great combination.

Everything was fresh. Fresh drinks. The food was actually really good too. I asked about it and the chicken is marinaded and handmade in house. Dumplings, egg roll, crab Rangoon all made in house and very good, surprisingly. Inside has a chill, pretty vibe too. Seems underpriced which I don't know how long that'll last, they'll probably get popular soon and raise the prices :/

JL is an awesome guy with a great personality. Our drinks were done super fast and no mistakes were made considering we had ordered 5. Totally recommend this awesome spot 💯

This boba place has all the standard boba store fare, but it also has a nice selection of more refreshing options and even a butterfly tea menu. Hot and cold drinks, caffeinated and decaf are available. The staff are always very patient and helpful with my indecisiveness (since there are so many fun things to try), and today, JL was especially helpful with finding exactly what I wanted. One small detail I really appreciate is that they always ask what sweetness and ice level I want. Other stores allow you to adjust these levels, but I always have to remember to ask and many times I forget. The fact that the staff always ask me allows me to end up with a drink I can finish at once instead of having to dilute it and use it over 3 days. I also really appreciate that they have reusable boba bottles with metal straws. Using them gives you a discount on the large size drink and helps me make less waste. Also, I like to write at coffee shops sometimes, and I've tried boba tea shops but they didn't have the right vibe. I've worked at Boba Tealight several times and could be productive there. I'm so glad they've opened close by.

Wanted to extend my gratitude with this review. Boba Tealight has been one of the most delicious boba shops that I keep coming back to, this place deserves a lot more recognition! The staff is amazing, Vy and JL tonight were very friendly, created an uplifting environment, and made us feel welcome! Thank you!

Such nice people that work here. The Matcha Milk Tea with Mango Popping Boba was outstanding. I have also had green tea with Mango Popping Boba with 50 sweetness and regular ice-so good and refreshing. I love that they have games for people to play.

I love this gem in Gilbert. I am so happy we have a good boba shop in Gilbert, closer to home. They have a great atmosphere there, where you can chill, study or even hang out/meet up with friends. I believe it is a Vietnamese-owned Boba Shop because they have Vietnamese coffee and other treats like banh mi and at one point the rice paper rolls (banh gio). I haven't had a chance to try them yet, BUT I wouldn't doubt if it was good because the other things on the menu are amazing. What I have tried off the food menu is the popcorn chicken, and it is seasoned to perfection and perfectly crispy. I highly recommend grabbing this while there. If you like sweet things, they also have cookies. I like the peanut butter cookie with the PB chips in there. Also, the drinks are amazing, and the boba is served at a perfect consistency (not too hard and not too soft/mushy - we have all been there when the boba has been sitting too long but I've never had that here). Like most boba shops, you can adjust the sweetness and ice levels. I like to get my drinks at 50% sweetness and it's at that sweet spot where it's not too sweet and let's the base tea taste shine. I think if you like drinks on the sweeter side, then 100% sweetness is the move for you. And finally, the team at the store is always super attentive, friendly and are boba drinks fans so they share the love and excitement you have coming in for some boba drinks. Special shout-out to JL on our last visit who was ready with my to-go order and greeted me warmly when I entered. Oh, yeah...I forgot to mention that if you are on the go, you can always place your order ahead of time online and they will have it ready when you get there. This is one of my go-to spots for Boba in Gilbert. Highly recommend giving them a try!

We decided to branch out & try new boba places and this was the first on our list. It was a cute little shop and the line moved fast to get our drinks. We were helped by Hannah and V and they were so helpful and asked how sweet we wanted our drinks! I’m lactose intolerant but they already had the Strawberry Matcha with a non dairy base! The other drink we ordered was a mango Mojito and the drinks were both so good! I would 10/10 recommend this place and will be coming back. Thanks Hannah and V 🤍

Best Boba on the East side of Phoenix, hands down. The staff is always so nice and the drinks are top notch. They also have reusable cups for purchase which is awesome. And the Banh Mi’s are great!

Jal did an amazing job of taking care of the line. Service was fast and extremely pleasant. I got the Vietnamese Egg Coffee. I was offered a sample of the Egg Coffee and it tasted like a custard. I strongly suggest that if you haven't tried this place it is well worth the trip and time.

Boba Tealight is hands down the best boba place I know. I’ve been to Boba Bliss, Miss Dessert, Bubble Bee, Bobazing, etc. Boba Tealight is still the best. The flavor profiles are amazing — Galaxy and Crazy Fruit Teas are my go-to. I get them at 100% sweetness and regular ice but I wish I could get somewhere between the 75% and 100% (still delicious though). My husband loves any of the Milk Teas and my 6 yr old sticks with Strawberry Slushie! Their food is great, too. Popcorn chicken and fries are a little salty but the flavors are soooooo good! Grilled Pork Banh Mi Vietnamese Sandwich with extra veggies (no pate) was great! As for the ambience? Very chill, warm, and inviting. Plus, they have board games!!! Yay!!! The staff is very friendly, attentive, and courteous (like JL). You will not be disappointed. :)

This is the best boba shop ever! Their black boba is always perfect and they have such an amazing variety of drinks. Love how you can adjust sweetness and ice level as needed. Service is always on point. Say hi to JL while you’re there! She makes amazing drinks! You can’t go wrong with anything you get here.

The cookies and service were excellent, the place clean and not crowded. My Thai Tea didn't taste great though, perhaps bc I chose to have the Sweetness percentage reduced.

I got the Rose Lychee Galaxy Tea with boba and it was beautiful and yummy! Super quick service and the boba was very soft and chewy.

Best boba I’ve ever had! I’ve yet to have anything here I didn’t like, I fully plan to try every single flavor! The black boba is made perfectly & there are a ton of customizable options to create your perfect drink. I could not recommend this place enough

This is such a hidden gem. Not only are their drinks really delicious, but the atmosphere is wonderful. My family and I go here for dinner sometimes, it's a smaller shop but they've made such good use of the space. We play board games together, have our drinks and the best part is the food! They home make this delcious crab rangoon. The owners are wonderfully kind people. They are consistently great quality all around

I won't be coming back. Workers are nice and greets you upon coming in. Ordered: Vietnamese egg coffee, avocado smoothie, popcorn chicken and 2 banh mi sandwiches. They messed up on my avocado. First one wasn't blended all the way through (super icy) - I couldn't even drink it with the straw. They ended up remaking the whole thing. This time I watched how they made it and of course lots of ice again but they did blend it all the way through. So now, there's no flavor. Just bland. Next, popcorn chicken. Burnt. It's spicy like i asked but there was barely any chicken meat. Mostly bread. Trash. Then our sandwiches. We ordered 1 special sandwich (dac biet) and my husband said it's not the special sandwich. 2nd sandwich was grilled pork. I took a bite and spitted it out and threw it away. It was wet on the inside with some type of white mayo sauce. Way to much and something watery that the bread was wet and soggy. We were unsatisfied with everything we got. Sorry for this nasty review but it's an honest one.
