First time trying this place. Let’s begin with the good, love the location and the facility is beautiful and has nice views of the lake. The patio is spacious and creates a very relaxing vibe. You might have a little difficulty locating the restaurant because it is in the back for the complex and signage is a little hard to spot. Now to the food, I did try the chips queso and salsa for an appetizer and it was pretty good, especially the queso. I paired the app with a Arizona Gold, which was crisp and delicious. Now, I really wanted to like this place overall but I had to give it 3 stars because I never got to the entree part. Our server was just too busy for us and we felt ignored half the time. We didn’t order anymore food because we had sat there so long that we decided to go elsewhere. I always like to give a place a second chance because I realize that sometimes people have bad days. I would definitely try the place again.

Stopped by this hidden gem for a drink right from the Scottsdale greenbelt bike path. Was surprised with the drink selection and quality of food! The El Pastor tacos were amazing & they have a good beer selection! Highly recommend this spot! Bike path is conveniently located behind the outside patio as well. Will be back again!

We’ve had their beer in cans before, but never on tap so we decided to come here after visiting the aquarium. It is tucked away so you may get lost trying to look for it, but you won’t be disappointed when you find it. The indoor dining area is a little small, but they have a huge patio overlooking a lake, so if you can manage to sit outside, do it. Our waiter, Benjamin was great, even complimenting my pizza tattoo. He walked us through both menus. We had a little hiccup with the food order, but they were genuinely apologetic and fixed it quickly. The pizza was nice and hot, no flop on the crust either. Food was great and beers were cold. What more could you ask for?

Great vibes, fantastic service staff, excellent local brews. We shared the spicy nachos with a flight. The outside patio is right on a bike path. Just park your bike and sit down.

We had a work happy hour here last night. While I’ve been here before I was really hoping to sit outside because they have a beautiful lake on their patio. Unfortunately there was a private event. That’s okay though - they are far and few between. The Happy hour offerings are great and well priced. We had 6 people and were taken care of by a great server named Mitchell who handled a 6 top with ease. All the beers were great. The pretzel bites and waffles fries were terrific. So tasty. Might be our go to spot from now on.

If you are looking for a place that quickly has a waiter to come with rudeness and attitude when you and your friends just want a beer, this is the perfect place. Twice I and my friends tried to give this place a chance. We often ride our bicycles from Tempe to Scottsdale. This seems ideal, right off the lake, quiet and clean. Again we rode our bikes there. The waiter was quick to thrown down menus at our tables, only to tell us the kitchen is closed and we have barely 40 mins to get our drinks. You think he was talking to some of his staff versus treating us like customers. Oh other customers near by, they were giving the white glove service even new customers coming, not us! We had our first round of drinks, only again to met with a quick another round or the tab? Since we saw other people enjoying their drinks, we decided to have another round, only to be told how soon we need to leave. Instead of us enjoying our drinks, he (the waiter) proceeded to talk about our conversation about how great their bar is over others and how their beer is superior over others, which is all fine, but we came there to be like the other customers, to be left alone. He also had to let us know that our bikes being parked in the empty patio area was a fire hazard. We left and went back home. Two to three weeks later, we went back there again. Hoping this time would be different. Foolish of us. We parked our bikes away from the patio, we knew what beer we wanted, only to be met with the same rude waiter, having menus thrown down on the table and we were given a time frame or limit on how soon we need to finish our beer. I asked for our beers and our tab. I will never go back there again. I didn't appreciate being treated like I was poor, unable to speak English, or like the janitor just having a beer while on the job. I don't work there and the obvious bias was apparent. Great location, but the attitude and the rudeness, yeah I will let everyone know about this place. Good luck, better yet, not!

Possibly the best eat and drink patio in all of Scottsdale. On a recent visit to Arizona while looking at properties my wife and I found this little hidden jem. One of the best sour beers I have ever had. Wait staff was all great, with awesome attitudes and easy going feel. Patio overlooks a beautiful lake and walking / riding path. The food was absolutely amazing, I had a salmon salad that was one of the best ever. We will be back the next time we are in Arizona. Such a great place it makes me want to work there!

My family had a fantastic time, tasting PHX at the Flagstaff beer festival and finding them while staying in Scottsdale. Loved all our experiences with you and having the owner answer my review...icing on the cake! Keep up the great work! Wendy's Gang

I went during brunch this past sunday and the service/ beer were great, and the food was awesome. Dog friendly patio, which our little guy felt super welcomed. Close to a bike trail and tiny lake view.

Food was ok. Service was at best minimal. But when they auto-add 20% gratuity why does a server need to do their job? Not impressed. Wish I knew server’s name but she was never around.

There’s a lot to say about PHX Beer Co. but if you only get one thing from my review, it’s to try the Pop-tart Pie. So. Insanely. Amazing!! As for their beer selection, they have a great range. I’m a fan of lighter beers and haven’t had a bad one yet. My go-to food-wise is always one of their pizzas. The Brew Master is my favorite but the BBQ Smoked Chicken is a close second. Lastly, I love sitting out on their porch overlooking the lake there. Especially October through March when the weather is great. Hope you enjoy as much as we always do!

The food here is WOW outstanding. Tasty and sexy food, and revolving beers. The service and cleanliness could kick it up just a notch and then it would match the 5-Star food.
