Such a great hike- there are some steep parts and some easy parts of the trail. You climb up rocks using foot holes in some places. We reached the top and also found the Vortex. It's hidden around a corner pillar past the 'end of trail' sign. Fun hike with some amazing views. I used water as the air dries out your mouth- but didn't really 'need' water as the hike is rather short. The trails are visible and you won't get lost. Elevation is quick and often; take your time and move with intention.

Started my hike at the Baldwin Trail. It was a Friday afternoon in May, around 3pm, there was lots of parking. It wasn't crowded at all. When you get to point where the road splits (see picture), follow Templeton to go to Cathedral Rock. The whole hike took me about 2,5-3 hours. Very well worth it!!!

This trail is very deceptive. I would consider myself in moderate shape, and it was tough. It is a basically straight up incline 1/2 way up. I would tell people who are not exercising to NOT ATTEMPT. took me about 45 min to get all the way up, and about 15 minutes to get down. Breathtaking views so it is worth it. There is basically no shade the entire way up so bring water and hydrate before.

This hike is a Sedona must! Depending on your level, this hike could be very hard. I would not recommend dogs as you will be required to scramble over several points. Once coming down, it can be slick and you just have to be careful. The views as you go up and from the top are truly stunning! It is a fairly short hike but is a high elevation gain over the short distance. Trail is marked well and depending on what day you go, it could be very busy and have to wait on people as they are going up/down. Two lots of parking available at the trailhead but it does fill up quickly and you may need to wait for a spot to open.

Moderate Hike Bring hiking shoes; lots of rocks and slippery surfaces while climbing. The trail is only 1.2 miles but the climb is challenging. Amazing view from the top.

I really like that there was a shuttle to the trailhead. It was pretty busy. It was not a easy hike but people of all different abilities were able to do. Once you get to the top it is absolutely beautiful!! Ps at the end of trail sign go to the left and hike around. That's where the vortex is!

Such an amazing experience. The hike is not easy, a lot of rock scaling, I recommend you wear good hiking boots with good tread. The rock is extremely slippery and can pose a danger if you're not wearing proper shoes.

Hearing so much about Sedona's outdoor stuffs to do, areas to relax by the water, we just had to check it out! • The drive to Sedona from Flagstaff was short and scenic. Seeing all the Ponderosa pine trees and red rocks is another level. We already planned a couple of places to visit with short hiking trails. Apparently, there's over 400 hiking trails in Sedona, and we didn't plan to do all that. We were not in the mood to hike but weren't in the mood not to either 🤣! We decided to drive to #CourthouseVista, a popular trailhead hub with red rock views. From here we can see the #CourthouseButte up close but we went further up #BellRock to get a perfect view of the whole Sedona. It did not disappoint! We didn't have to hike all the way up, just turn around and it's right there! Breathtaking, peaceful and we were speechless! We stayed for a few hours and took it all in. • "Thankful for days when my body takes me to places like this. My heart is so grateful every time nature takes my breath away. I can't imagine life not seeing beautiful destinations." • For more outdoor adventures, follow @Bodintures2
