Highly recommend trying out this new local gem!! Portions are great, food tastes great, chicken is juicy & the RED BEANS AND RICE 😮 Very cozy comfort food, perfect for this weather!! We went for a late lunch and it was probably the best decision we made all month. We ordered almost everything and it was amazing!!! The rice and beans were so good and the fried chicken was the best fried chicken we’ve ever had. The kids devoured the mac & cheese too! Great beer on tap as well. We’ll be back!

I was so excited for a new type of restaurant I haven’t seen in medford. Had to try everything from the menu. The chicken was so crunchy and cooked to perfection, The greens tasted phenomenal, and the beans and rice were seasoned perfectly. Can’t wait to go back and see what else they will offer!

If Hen and Flour is 'open and near you' you need to do yourself a favor and get down there. Even if it isn't near you, get down there! This is THE BEST fried chicken I've ever had. I can't wait to go back and try the chicken sandwich!! I feel like Sam at the end of Green Eggs and Ham; I would eat this chicken here or there, I would eat it ANYWHERE!! It's perfectly crispy and exquisitely juicy. The seasoning and brine are on point. I love how bright the space is, the staff and owners are lovely. True southern cooking at its finest.

My husband and I had the chicken sandwich and sides. The price was great! The sandwiches were huge!! The flavor was delicious. My husband loved his beans and rice. We will be back!!

This place has the most amazing chicken . The red beans and rice are top notch. The hush puppies will also keep you coming back. Love this place!
