I
have
been
meaning
to
get
to
Backstreet
Asia
since
it
opened
-
was
hard
to
make
it
out
to
the
West
side.
Super
happy
I...1)
got
to
try
the
food,
and
2)
expose
my
friends
to
Filipino
food.
We
ate
family
style
to
ensure
they
got
to
taste
each
dish.
I
had
done
a
mini
tasting
of
different
items,
and
wanted
to
recommend
these:
-
Chicharon
Bulaklak
-
The
pig
skin
is
fried
to
perfection
and
has
good
crunch
and
flavor.
It's
fine
on
its
own,
but
as
usual,
I
highly
recommend
using
the
vinegar
to
dip
it
into
and
a
Red
Horse
beer
to
accompany
it.
Makes
me
very
nostalgic
(outside
of
the
beer
part)
of
growing
up
with
my
Lola
and
she'd
put
those
out
for
a
snack.
-
Lumpia
-
Made
in
the
Lumpia
Shanghai
style,
it
had
great
savory
flavor
and
I
almost
wonder
if
the
sweet
chili
sauce
was
an
inhouse
creation
because
it
had
a
bit
more
kick
than
the
ones
in
the
bottle.
🤔
-
Chicken
Adobo
-
Every
person's
gateway
drug
😂
into
Filipino
cuisine.
Her
Adobo
is
more
of
the
gravy
consistency,
but
what
I
love
about
her
version
is
that
the
chicken
is
crispy
but
still
falls
off
the
bone
easily.
A
little
different
than
the
ones
I
usually
have
but
I'm
a
very
good
way.
I
feel
this
is
the
best
Adobo
in
AZ.
-
Pork
Sinigang
-
More
Filipino
comfort
food!
Just
delightfully
sour,
meat
tender
and
the
veggies
soaked
up
the
flavor
very
nicely.
-
Pancit
Bihon
-
I
told
Lindsay
that
although
I
do
love
her
Pancit
because
it
has
lots
of
flavor
and
a
bit
of
spice,
I
can't
love
it
above
my
mom's
version
but
her
version
is
pretty
good!
-
Bulgogi/Korean
BBQ
Rib
-
my
friend
got
this
for
her
daughter
to
go.
She
stole
a
bite
and
said
it
was
very
good.
-
Shrimp
Chips
-
as
a
pre-appetozer,
we
got
fresh
fried
shrimp
chips
at
our
table.
So
good!
They
are
expanding
currently
so
they
are
doing
construction
BUT
they
are
actively
building
a
good
connection
to
the
community.
They
have
standup
nights,
karaoke
night,
sometimes
they
do
boodle
fights
-
or
Kamayan
Feast
-
events
(where
they
layout
banana
leaves
and
have
food
out
on
the
leaves
buffet
style
but
for
each
pair
of
people),
and
they
are
participating
in
a
West
Side
First
Friday
event.
They
also
do
their
best
to
accommodate
deliveries
as
far
as
Maricopa
dependent
on
availability
and
staffing/check
with
them
first.
The
pricing
is
also
very
reasonable!
Please
go
check
them
out!
