I have wanted to visit the Henry for dining for a long time and I finally got to visit this November. I have heard good things about this place but I didn’t have too much expectations before I went to the restaurant. However my dining experience at the Henry was exceptional! All the food I have tried was on point. Seasoning and searing were perfect. Salad was simple and fresh. I tried their braised short ribs for main course and it was so tasty. The meat was cooked tender and juicy. It just fell apart and melted in my mouth. The bourbon caramel on the meat was not too sweet but pleasantly complimented the dish. The mashed potatoes were smooth, flavorful and tasted great with the rib. For dessert, I tried their lemon tart and it was good but too lemon-y for my liking. I am so glad I finally visited the Henry and I cannot wait to return to try different dishes!

Really cool atmosphere! Food was tasty and we had good service. The potion size was decent and fresh. The breakfast potatoes were a little over done for my liking.

Wonderful restaurant! Great atmosphere, superb service (our server was Amanda and she did an amazing job) food was all excellent, new creative take on dishes, drinks also wonderful. Local twits to classic drinks. Family friendly and great dishes for kids. Highly recommend.

Very adorable spot with great food and a lovely atmosphere. Lots of room to spread out, have a meeting or date, eat some food and get work done. The service was great, coffee was tasty and breakfast food was delicious. There is a bar there but I didn't have the chance to check it out. Seemed nice though. It's funny, the place seems to be a bit of a scene for people to come looking good. Strange (and acceptable) number of attractive people hanging out.

I had my daughter’s bridal shower in the North room this past Saturday. It was FANTASTIC! I have been working with Dana, Special Events Coordinator, since February. She is absolutely wonderful. Since we live in California, I had to plan the shower long distance and was a little worried about how it was going to turn out. It was beyond my expectations. Dana made sure my vision came to life. We heard from so many of our guests how beautiful and perfect the shower was. Sam, our server was so attentive. She made sure the room was exactly how we wanted it. She was so flexible and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. We can’t say enough good things about the Henry!

I feel compelled to leave this review because this average rating can so easily be above average. This is for the morning cashiers: at the coffee bar: if you want to talk to the customers keep it brief especially when there are 10 people in line. A courteous good morning and then move along. With that said the pastries are great the breakfast food is creative but simple. Breakfast at The Henry is an absolutely delight.

I stopped by this place on Saturday morning about 7:30am, it's order and seat yourself until 8am. The server at the coffee bar was honestly less then helpful and its clear she didn't want to be their, this is the first time I've been to this place and she was not clear on what happens next after we ordered our drinks and food, the drinks are made and then called out like Starbucks, the food is delivered, the orange juice you grab out of the refrigerator, thanks for the heads up server. Customer service at a restaurant is paramount, she doesn't think so. Food was great and obviously the atmosphere is definitely got a vibe. I got the parfait which was absolutely amazing! 💯 my girlfriend got the flower child which she enjoyed!

Wonderful experience despite being seated next to the very loud open kitchen. Once you get used to the noise, it's okay. Service was on point. Came with a party of six total. A bit disappointed with the sangria. But the Thai Grapefruit Smash was AMAZING. We all tried each other's plates and each dish was pretty awesome. I had the diver scallops which were perfectly cooked. The accompaniment to the scallops was yummy but I would have paired each with something else. Braised short ribs were amazing as was the Korean skirt steak. And the bread pudding? Phenomenal. Yum. Perfection. A bit pricey for me overall but worth every dollar. Perfect for a first date, just don't sit too close to the kitchen, which was amazing to watch, just not great if you're trying to hold a conversation. DEFINITELY going back!!!

I’ve been here for coffees and brunch several times in the past. Finally had dinner here last night. Due to Covid, reservations are a must. Stayed with the Parmesan truffle fries with truffle aioli dip while enjoying a drink. The fries were great and if anyone needed they’re considered gluten free. Then ordered the braised short rib Substituted the mashed potatoes with rapini. The ribs are marinated in a bourbon caramel sauce for hours. Ridiculous flavor and melts in your mouth. Also hag the heirloom tomato and watermelon salad. Great selections and great service Unfortunately the photos aren’t the best.

quality meals and the scene at this spot is excellent. I should have took a photo of the food but it was too good to interrupt. Had a friend come into town and she asked me to take her here again. They have so many great reviews for a reason.

Probably one of the easiest 5 stars I will ever give. This restaurant truly knows how to satisfy its guests. I will do a pros and cons Pros - Employees and servers are amazing and kind. They definitely go the extra mile - Interior is absolutely stunning. - Food is ridiculously good. The honey chicken sandwich is a must - Brunch is really good here, but dinner might be better Cons - Literally nothing Again, easily one of my favorite restaurants in Scottsdale and I will easily be back.

This place was amazing! The decor is very inviting. We loved how much space they give between tables. The music was the perfect volume. It really made it a great place to have a conversation with friends. The wait staff was attentive without being obtrusive. The food was phenomenal. We were there for restaurant week. Everything was good, especially the Korean Steak which was one of the best stakes we have tasted, made perfectly to order. The food was unique without being weird The portions we good sized without being overly large. Can't say enough good things.

Lovely interior. Super friendly staff. Busy lunch service. Bolognese, hot honey crispy or grilled chicken sandwich both delicious. The crispy sweet potatoes are a must! Complimentary valet service really hustling today. Use it - parking can be very tight. Loved it! Will be back

Such a pleasant midday surprise for lunch. The space is so bright and airy with an outdoor patio and open hearth kitchen. The spritz I had had was super refreshing and the Turkey Dip Wax to die for! I upgraded my meal by pairing it with truffle fries. If I lived in the area, I would definitely visit the café because the pastries look divine. Perfect place to meet up with almost anyone for any thing; meetings, birthday, casual meet up, date, etc.

My wife and I came here for a date night and absolutely loved it. Our server (unfortunately I don't remember his name) was the best, and the food was amazing. I had the braised short rib with the bourbon glaze; it was one of the best short ribs I've ever had. If you're looking for a great place to take your significant other for a night out you must try The Henry.

We visit The Henry on special occasions because it's not close to us. Let me tell you it is always worth the drive. They made our 16th Wedding Anniversary dinner so special. Our table faced the kitchen which is always my favorite spot, we had a couple flowers set on our table and a sweet personalized card. The food was amazing, I love the Braised short ribs, the Umami Brussel sprots and the bread pudding so delicious. Our server was so lovely. I can't wait to return on our next date night.

We stopped in for Sunday brunch and the experience was very disappointing. Our server kept forgetting things and the food took about 35 minutes to arrive after we ordered it. Unfortunately the food was bland and the Bloody Mary tasted like straight tomato juice. The atmosphere was lively but we felt like everything was super unorganized for such a popular place.

Came here on my birthday for brunch, loved it. The Bloody Mary bar was great. They have a bunch of different flavored vodkas for you to try and you can add any tasty treats you want to your drink. The guacamole was super delicious and we didn’t get enough chips but they brought more, no problems. Super chic place for brunch. Cool vibes, would recommend.

4 stars out of 5 stars May 18, 2020 We ordered the Braised Short Rib and the Roasted Chicken. The presentation, portion and flavor of the short rib were excellent. Probably one of the best short rib dishes that I’ve ever had and for $28, it did not disappoint. The portion was generous, the short rib is served on top of mashed potatoes and top with arugula in a creamy dressing. What I love about this dish is that everything complemented the short rib perfectly. No odd flavors to distract you from the essence and consistency of a perfectly cooked short rib. The short rib was tender yet wasn’t slushy like a pot roast that you cooked in a crockpot, I only mention this because some five-star dining restaurants swear by their short rib and is underwhelming at best. If you’re looking for the best short rib in town, the Henry will definitely be on the list. The roasted chicken on the other hand was blah. It came with Brussels sprouts, carrots, Roasted cauliflower and an Unami sauce. The waitress could not describe what the sauce was; it is almost like a watered down hummus without the gritty texture. The problem is the chicken must be fully cooked and crispy and paired with the roasted vegetables which resulted in an extremely dry dish. Even paired with the Unami sauce, this chicken dish doesn’t go down smoothly. I could still feel the chicken “stuck” in my esophagus. The portion was ok but I don’t think it would be enough for a male or a person that has a healthy appetite. The presentation was ok. The chicken consisted of two petite pieces, one looked like part of a leg quarter and the other a split portion of the breast. The chicken was served in a bowl and surrounded by the roasted vegetables. The flavor was ok but not something that couldn’t be replicated at home. Chicken is chicken so when you pay $21 for a chicken dish, you expect a bit of “wow factor.” Skip the chicken. Foodies would be disappointed by this chicken dish. I have brought clients to the Henry for lunch and have hosted a large groups for dinner because of the nonprofit medical association that I belong to and I honestly remember that the food seemed better back then. I understand that due to the pandemic that restaurants are having to adapt. Nonetheless, with so many establishments going out of business, you can’t take business for granted and be “sloppy.” With so many dining options close by, I probably won’t be back for a while.

From the moment you walk in and are greeted by the friendly hostess, you immediately feel at home. Not only is the ambiance, decor and vibe just outstanding, the food and waitstaff make it totally perfect. The staff is so helpful, friendly and accommodating not to mention the food is always perfect. Love love love this place. It is our go to restaurant, even though it is a long drive from Carefree. Anything Fox you can count on to be as close to perfect as possible...

I'll couch this by saying we arrived at 2p on a Sunday afternoon. With that said, the Henry was the perfect spot for a Sunday nosh and adult beverage. We were seated at a lovely outdoor table in less than 10 minutes (no reservation). Our server appeared promptly with menus. I ordered a grapefruit spritzer that was only missing an Italian piazza to complete its loveliness! The brunch menu includes lots of options: breakfast bowls, burritos, salads and a burger. Vegan options were numerous. We had a quinoa/egg bowl and a Henry Scramble plus extra crispy bacon. Both bowls were more than enough and the bacon was perfectly done. Our first time at the Henry won't be our last.

Beautiful decor, friendly staff, signature drinks are delicious. Wasnt really hungry, got the house salad and it was far from just simple, croutons were so tasty and their champagne dressing was perfect with it! We felt a bit underdressed but during the day it was fine, we recommend getting dolled up during dinner time. ??

No doubt there facilities are awesome and food is usually well above average. Just beware curb side pickup. Order came out just over 20 minutes past the stated time. Which if they are really busy, one can understand the delay. But when your chicken dish comes out at 105 degrees, you know it just sat there. And that can be controlled.

We leave in Chicago and this was the first time dining at The Henry .Was recommend by my niece and other friends who visited Phoenix. It was Saturday and we didn’t know reservations needed to be made since they are very busy in the weekend. We arrived at the restaurant and the lady by the counter said they are really busy and have nothing available until 2:30 and the time was 10:00 o’clock. We said no problem and walked outside towards the car .In the meantime she came after us in the parking lot and said she will talk to her manager and see what they can do to accommodate us.They had to call other party and ask if they are whiling to take the private dining room and let us have their table .We didn’t expect them to go above and beyond for us .The service was great, excellent food so we are going to come back to this place when we will be visiting relatives again in Phoenix.Thank you for treating us so well !The best experience and people!

This place was great. I got the two egg breakfast on my last day while visiting Phoenix. It normally comes with bacon but I don’t eat pork, they had a chicken sausage that I was able to substitute for... let me tell you the chicken sausage was bomb! I normally don’t like non pork sausage bc it taste like pork but this didn’t, and it had the perfect spice to it. If I come back to this city I will definitely be back.

I have heard wonderful things about The Henry and was excited when I arrived. Host staff was friendly, patio is beautiful. But it ended there. Was seated next to server door in the dark at the back of the patio. It took 35 minutes and flagging down staff going past to get that first cocktail/glass of wine. The server kept forgetting about us all night and the evening drug on...from the first drink, to the appetizer, the meal and even the check. My filet was such poor quality I found myself spitting gristle into my napkin THREE TIMES just to get through it and seem polite. The bottle of 2013 Pinot was flat in taste, the appetizer went cold while we waited for the server to bring the requested sauce (15+ minutes). Total dinner was 3 hours long - ugh.. Not excited to return.

Dezmen is a stud. Great timing - we weren’t waiting long times between courses, and his recommendations were on point. True professional. Great experience all around.

Everything is exquisite at The Henry. We have made it our favorite destination for exceptional meals. The decor is lovely, the food scrumptious, and it's an enjoyable place just to people-watch. Every visit there is memorable. We love it!

Great experience. Food was exquisite. Try the Korean prime skirt steak. That was the best, you won't regret it. Also ordered the grilled fish tacos which I thought were okay but my team member thought they were the best she had ever had. Very pleasant ambience even at lunch time and the decor is very nice. Overall great experience and the staff was very courteous as well. The waitress even offered to take a group photo for us outside in addition to the one she had taken on request. So nice!

First time going there it was. Small menú yet it was delicious! Breakfast items looked good. The place looked clean. Lots of casual business people inside. The staff was very polite and helpful. Prices were good not too expensive. The only reason for my 4 stars its because my plate was dirty from the bottom when the waiter gave it to me I grabbed it and my fingers got dirty with what ever was smeared on the bottom of the plate which I didnt appreciate. Other than that good place to go eat!

I love the Henry - the service and food is top notch and the ambiance is nice too! Being in Arcadia, it’s definitely a little bourgeois but that just makes for good people watching. I’ve visited for happy hour (truffle fries are a must) and brunch and greatly enjoyed my experience both times. Reservations are available for certain times and I would recommend as it does get pretty busy.

Upscale dining, with a casual vibe. Menu had a great selection, ample seating but doesn't hurt to make a reservation. Loved the Korean skirt steak with fried rice and the cocktails. Our entrees were heavy on the cilantro, which I liked but other didn't care for. The service was awesome, our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and kept our tables drinks filled. Would recommend for a celebration or special night out, felt fancy but more affordable

Love the decor in this whole building. They're so busy with reservations that we were told we had 20 minutes and had to leave. I understood the reason just not a fan of having to hurry up and eat. The food was great and staff was friendly.

I usually enjoy this place, but the last time I ate here (last week) the experience wasn’t as good. When I am paying for a nice meal, I would expect the bones to be completely removed from my fish. I let the waitress know, and she did keep offering to get me a new meal, I kept mentioning I didn’t need a whole meal just the bones to be fully removed. (I didn’t want to wait for a new Meal and to eat alone nor waste the food). I finally gave up and said it was fine. I’m lucky to not have chipped my tooth as the bones were thick, or choked on it. Hopefully the next time is a better experience. Other than that issue the rest of the food was very good including the deserts.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a while! We the Korean Prime Skirt Steak and the NY strip. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the drinks were delicious as well. Service was excellent and love the ambiance. Can’t wait to come back!

This was my first time having dinner at The Henry and it did not disappoint. We arrived earlier then our reservation time, but the hostess was welcoming and sat us in a few minutes. Loved everything about this place! Food was Amazing (we had bolognese and lobster spaghetti)! We also had the truffle fries for our appetizer, watermelon margarita, and summer sangria. The decor is on the darker color palette, but BEAUTIFULLY done. This will be a regular place for us. Can't wait to try their brunch and lunch.

This is a nice restaurant if you are looking for some nice food. It is on the expensive side , but once in a while it’s a great treat. We ordered cocktails, soup, French fries , the shrimps as appetizer and the Korean prime steak , as well as dessert. Very nice setting and service.

Was meeting friends for brunch. Found a great corner table. Ordered food at the coffee shop. Was delivered to our table. I had coffee and the California bowl. Delicious, delicious. Oh! The coffee cake was excellent too. The vibe is so cool. The atmosphere is a comfortable buzz. Loved the free valet parking! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this place. We didn't know though it was order and seat yourself until 11, but we sat at the bar and the waiter was quite nice and let us order from there. They only serve French toast on weekends, but they have a kids French toast so I ordered that. I also ordered a I believe it's called wildflower coffee and I was quite impressed! I'm a big fan of this place and will come back again when I'm in Phoenix

The building is superb, modern and cozy. Great for any celebratory occasion or just to go eat the great food. Plenty of space to park. Food was great, I got the fish and it was delicious. The bread pudding was excellent. Service was nice a little slow but not a big deal because it gave us time to enjoy the place. I love the waitress outfits they all wear super cute ties. I will come back here sometime for sure.

Great atmosphere and food here! The building is super cool with soaring ceilings and a rustic warehousey vibe. Our server was super attentive and an expert on the menu. We had guac to start and a variety of mains and everyone loved their food. Cocktails and wine selection good too. Definitely on the pricier side for a random Tuesday night dinner but would return.

Nestled in the heart of central Phoenix, The Henry stands as a testament to the city's rich culinary tapestry. With its roots deeply embedded in Phoenix's history, this establishment is more than just a restaurant; it's a story of passion and dedication. The Henry's inception can be traced back to its founder, whose vision was to create a space that resonated with the essence of the neighborhood. A place where every individual, be it a local or a visitor, felt a sense of belonging. And true to its vision, the first location was strategically chosen to be in the midst of Phoenix's bustling streets, ensuring that it was accessible and welcoming to all. Stepping into The Henry is like stepping into a harmonious blend of the past and the present. The fusion of industrial and classical influences is evident in its decor, creating an ambiance that is both chic and timeless. The open dining space, with its high ceilings and expansive windows, is a hive of activity, buzzing with the laughter and chatter of patrons. Every corner of the restaurant, from the cozy coffee bar to the vibrant dining area, exudes charm and energy. But what truly sets The Henry apart is its people. The baristas, servers, and bartenders, with their genuine smiles and warm welcomes, make you feel like you're not just a customer, but a part of their extended family. Whether you're there for a business meeting or on a first date, the atmosphere is always just right. The outdoor seating area, with its fantastic patio, offers a refreshing change of scenery. Overlooking the coffee bar, it's the perfect spot to enjoy Phoenix's balmy evenings, sipping on one of their signature cocktails. Speaking of which, The Henry's menu is a delightful surprise. With a range of craveable eats and downright delicious cocktails, every dish and drink tells a story of its own. Each ingredient is chosen with care, and every recipe is a reflection of the love and passion that goes into making The Henry what it is. The Henry is not just a restaurant; it's an experience. It's a place where every visit feels like a reunion with old friends. A place that, no matter how many times you visit, always feels like home. So, the next time you're in Phoenix and looking for a place to unwind, be sure to check out The Henry.

We had the most delicious meal here, however our server stood out even more than the food! I believe her name was Caroline, and she was fantastic. We ordered all of her recommendations and they did not disappoint. The short rib potstickers, umami brussel sprouts, and Korean prime skirt steak were our favorites. The spicy mango habanero margarita was lovely and had the perfect amount of spice. I would highly recommend and will be back the next time we are in town.

There is no handicap parking in front of restaurant, but there is valet parking if you like using that. We had to park down the side a ways and walk (and push me in my wheelchair) to restaurant entrance. Wheelchair friendly inside if it’s not crowded (it was crowded and a bit noisy when we first got there about 1:15). We were seated when our reservation time was up. Nice table. Our waiter (Ethan) was great. We ordered the short rib potstickers and crispy coconut shrimp as starters. YUM! My husband ordered the blackened fish tacos and our friend ordered the Bolognese. I ordered the Turkey French Dip and it was fabulous. The bread was my favorite part of the sandwich. I saved the sauce from the potstickers and dipped my sandwich in that to try it (Ethan thought it was a brilliant idea), plus the au jus that comes with the sandwich. Everything was excellent. We ordered the bread pudding for dessert and Connor brought out vanilla ice cream to go with it, along with the caramel ice cream that comes on top of the bread pudding. It was so good!

We went here for NYE dinner and it was fabulous! Our waitress was lovely, and service was quick. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were actually great for a nice restaurant. Everything was full of flavor and tasted fresh, not one thing disappointed. Will be back.

Loved everything about The Henry! A really nice place for dinner with girlfriends I haven’t seen in a long time. Our server was fantastic and made great recommendations. My holiday cocktail was so tasty and the braised short ribs were out of this world!
