The sandwich was fantastic! Much better than Quiznos, Potbelly’s or Subway. Their vibe doesn’t fit my lifestyle, but that’s no negative to them. The world would be completely boring if we all thought and lived the same. I came for the good food and that definitely did not disappoint!!

What a great sandwich shop! Super unusual sandwich selections. There Hass to be at least 25 different kinds of sandwiches up there on the board. A little bit pricey but well worth it and good quality food. There’s a full bar also!

I really wish I got the manager's name... Honestly, she is amazing, handled the situation so well. The sandwich she made was delicious even about 6 hours later. We'll definitely be back for more of that kool-aid and another Kalimist 😁

Another great find if you can grab parking on the side street. Do not block driveways and be kind to these people as I'm sure their block is packed everyday, all day. I've only had the one G-13 but it was really tasty and during the lunchtime rush too! Fountain drinks are where it's at, with lemonade to boot, made a great treat on another hot day. The inside has quite the scene for sure that leans more toward the 420 crowd, but that's part of the charm.

We found this hidden gem when wandering downtown and suddenly felt starving... Parking is a little bit hassle luckily my efforts paid off--- since we found the excellent toasted sub place with low-key street style. We ordered a 12-inch Sub, big enough for me to share with 2 kiddos. Fresh pork together with the aroma of onions and cabbage plus rich mayo sauce--- it's mouthwatering! The girl at the register was friendly and welcoming. She introduced different kinds of subs to me with patience and was joking with me... even though it took me a while to understand what she was talking about, lol. We enjoyed our to-go experience in this special place and hope we would have a chance to come back again!

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Waited over 40 minutes for one sandwich for dine in while the restaurant was not busy. People came in and ordered after us and got their food. I said something when it had been almost 30 minutes and it was almost as if they forgot to print the ticket or whatever for our order. Took another 15 or so minutes for the food. For the patrons that will dine here, you need a better system, this is unacceptable. The food isn't even that good to wait this long. Your cashiers should tell everyone ordering that there could be a 30-40 minute wait for dine in. I also tipped and I absolutely regret it. I will never come back.

I got the Kali Mist blunt size and let me tell you, it was a fat sandwich!! It pretty good, and the spicy dressing isn’t so spicy. This could feed 2 people but I’m forsure saving this sandwich for later 😋

I went in for the first time last night and while the food was like 7/10. the service was absolutely horrible. The shorter guy with neck tattoos at the register absolutely hates his job and it shows. While taking my order he had an attitude and I clearly heard his say multiple times “Your killing me” when I was ordering. I didn’t even ask a question I just stated my order which was a sandwich directly off the board with no modifications. I’ve worked in the industry for a long time and there’s no way I would ever have someone like that being the face of my restaurant as the person that’s making first interactions with your guests. I also clearly heard him make the same comment to multiple people as they ordered. At one point he even told a guest his day was going good until they showed up and ordered. Either way the food was decent but not good enough to go back after that. Avoid this place if you want good service.

Love me some Cheba!!! Hit this location because F 1st Fridays downtown lol. Way too crowded. Got seats at the bar, super nice bartender, very attentive to the refills!! Split a Jamaican Red with my nephew and man o man was that sandwich the bomb! Perfectly toasted, great mix of fixings with their super juicy and tender Jamaican Red Chicken! The night was a success even after ditching our original plans!

Love the food! My family and I have been coming here for years. My only complaint is the size of the subs have become smaller from what I can remember. Still good, but idk if I want to continue coming as often as I used to. Highly recommend the fruity pebbles krispys

Could not tell you how this place has such high reviews. No pun intended. Was recommended the beef dip by the cashier. Low quality, still cold, roast beef in an otherwise hot sandwich. Took over 30 minutes with a half empty place. Employees are having a great time, good music, but everything else about this place is just going through the motions.

The subs here are great. The salad not so much. My boyfriend always picks up and brings home, so I don't know about the service and atmosphere. I assume they are good because he has never complained. When you want just a good, old fashioned sub sandwich, this place is the best I have found.

I ordered online at 2:05pm and it gave an 18 minute estimate for pickup. My food wasn't ready until 3:06, over an hour wait time. The projection on the website is deceitful. I would have never ordered if I knew it would take an hour to get my food. Though once you get it, the food is good. However, it's not worth an hour wait.

Amazing experience at Cheba Hut, highly recommend this location as the staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere is very nice. We went here for lunch while working in downtown Phoenix and the food was sooo good it was still smoking hot by the time I got to the second part of my sandwich. Check this place out and download the Cheba app for rewards!

Cheba Hut has been longtime stable of mine(as well as many other current and post-college students) for their great food and weed-filled decor. After having a particularly heavy dinner, I settled on grabbing a sticky-icky with a beer at the bar. The sandwich on wheat bread was sooo yummy. It really took me back to the good old days. 😀 However, a shot of moonshine was $7.50, which I found to be slightly abhorrent. The beer however was delicious. I personally went for a mocha stout was more than satisfied. I can't wait to return for real blunt with ham.
