The first place I ate when I arrived in Phoenix. I give them a 3.5 rating. The food was good and our server was good also. The location is what really makes this place. You can sit outside and have a great view of the city. The prices are what prevents me for giving this place a four. I had a chicken sandwich with sweet potatoes fries and my friends also had sandwiches. I was the only with a soda, the bill was over $55.

Our food was super good and the service was fast! The entire family enjoyed their meal! If you like spice get the veggie and steak bowl it comes with jalapeños sauce. Nice to eat outside.

Great option for breakfast in Downtown Phoenix. Really liked the options. The Chicken Fried Chicken is delicious, and maybe enough for two! Comes with three eggs on top of everything else. Loved the fresh-squeezed OJ. There’s a nice outdoor space to eat as well.

Solid brunch spot with a good variety of breakfast and brunch favorites! We had the Steak Bene and the Turkey “Cali” Benedict. The steak was cooked perfectly and the jalapeño hollandaise was super flavorful. The Turkey Cali was much lighter and fresh, both were excellent choices. I loved their Bloody Mary as well! It was extra spicy in a strong horseradish way. They do have alcoholic cocktails even though they aren’t listed on their online menu. Definitely recommend for those perfect winter month brunches on the patio!

Incredible sandwich! The Breakfast Club offers a delightful culinary experience, situated in a prime, easily accessible location right in the heart of Downtown. Moreover, the coffee served here is absolutely fantastic. I must commend my server, Daniel, for his exceptional service. He was impressively fast, remarkably attentive, and an all-around wonderful individual.

I picked up a to go order today from Cityscape. I was surprised that no masks were seen. Upon asking about the policy I was told that masks aren't being worn by staff because it's a "guideline, but not a requirement". It's very disappointing that you are putting your staff and customers at risk.

Great food, friendly service! Avocado toast was delicious and such a bargain. My friend had "the best Miche (she's) ever tasted", and I loved the iced coffee with a free refill. So impressed!

🎧pod. The location is right in the heart of downtown. Beautiful landscaping where you can enjoy your meal. The inside has amazing vibe. Very nice customer service. There is even a breakfast bar location in the inside.🔥🔥🌞☀️

Nice place. Your run of the mill brunch restaurant, but that said, it's slightly above average. The food is very delicious. I got the french toast, but I wish I would have gotten the steak and eggs. Man did that look delicious. My dad got it, let me try a piece and it was so freaking good. They have a cafe bar, so you can also order an array of coffees, teas, juices, and smoothies. They also validate your parking. If I remember correctly, it's 2 hours. So make sure you get that validation and don't pay for parking.

Stopped here for quick breakfast before the airport. Great service and great food. Our server Jack was on top of the service making sure we had water and whatever else we needed. All the food was really good. The espresso was actually a little too bitter for my liking. Service was quick from beginning to end and Jack even sent us with some coffees to go. Stop by here if you like breakfast in the city.

After a sleepy Sunday morning, brunch was the only thing on my mind, and I'm glad that the Breakfast Club did not disappoint. I went into wanting fresh coffee, biscuits and gravy, and a bloody mary, which was all present. Furthermore, it was all scrumptious! Our server was kind and prompt with the food, enhancing the experience. Beware that the place can get packed, so expect a wait time of 30 minutes during peak weekend hours. Prices are reasonable considering the array of menu items offered. I look forward to returning in the future.

Love this spot!! One of my favorite breakfast spots in downtown Phoenix! Anytime that I travel to Phoenix, I always and have to come here! Amazing food, amazing iced coffee, crazy bloody mary, and the service is absolutely great!!

Service is always hit or miss here but atleast they have a nice patio in the downtown area which is rare. The food is good but not great. Pretty standard stuff but they are consistent. The breakfast grilled cheese is a good sandwich

Good food! Not so good service! We are visiting from out of town and looking for cool little restaurants to try. Found this restaurant and was super excited. We set outside and the weather and atmosphere was amazing! The food was delicious and coffee was hot! However we ALWAYS had to get our waiters attention. For this to not be such a busy morning, he seemed to always being doing something else besides giving his table the attention needed. At one point, I turned around JUST to see what he was looking at while he was at our table.

The waitresses and staff are nonchalant, after placing my order and waiting almost an hour for my food. Only to find out the order was never sent to the kitchen. Now heading to the airport without eating my breakfast and wasted an hour plus of my time. Thank u breakfast club for a horrible experience....

Just didn't do it for me. Got takeout and nobody finished anything. Kid didn't even like the pancakes. Breakfast burrito wasn't very good at all. The one star is for the green chili which was actually one of the best I've had. Dunno if it was an off day or what but never going back because... Half the staff were wearing masks incorrectly or around their neck and the place put sardine cans to shame. Not an ounce of social distancing and people were packed in tight with no extra sanitizing or cleaning that I could see after guests left. While waiting for my order I watched tables get wiped off like it was last year and then somebody got sat 30 seconds later. How is this place still open? Half of downtown Phoenix was here Saturday morning. The inside was completely full and people were hanging around out front waiting for tables.

The food here is definitely 5 star review worthy! My boyfriend got the Monte Cristo, and it was literally to die for (never had one with ham and turkey before). He also got a Cinnamon Toast Crunch protein smoothie (not pictured), and it was pretty good, but tasted more like peanut butter than the cereal. I got “The Bird” omelette, and it was really tasty, but I was sort of expecting more cheese inside of it (had a lot of turkey + herb creme inside). The mushroom and avocado really added some delicious flavor, and I cannot say enough good things about the potatoes— heavenly! It was a tad pricey, but expected. The outdoor scenery is cute, and it’s very “downtown-vibes,” for sure (if that makes sense). I got a cold brew, as well, which was pretty strong for my liking, but definitely woke me up (I’d go with a fruit smoothie next time). I really enjoyed eating here!

Such good food! Big portions! I ordered the The Bird omelet and u just super satisfied. Validated parking for us, which is always a bonus. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is all the girls working had an attitude, the male food runner was super sweet and nice. I don't need a side of attitude with my breakfast.

Service was good and the servers were very friendly and i complained about the potatoes was mostly vegetables and they gave me a plate of hashbrowns no charge and they had multiple flat-screen t.v.s for sports. And the atmosphere was great and very clean. I will go back again.

Went on a Saturday for brunch. Even though it was busy, I didn’t wait long to be seated. Food was great. The steak was on point and the Steak and eggs were $20.00. Atmosphere was nice!

Great place, would have easily given it 5 stars if it wasn’t for its lack of soda drink options. (I love my Diet Coke or Coke Zero. I’ll even do a diet Dr Pepper or Diet Pepsi if I have to but no diet drinks of any kind.) Good menu, good options, healthy and tasty! Great options for outside eating too. I took my mom here today for birthday brunch and it was a hit.

Food was great. Service was friendly and professional. You can eat outside or inside. We had breakfast early so it felt really nice outside. Great place to eat. We were staying at the Hyatt Regency hotel and it was a 4 minute walk.

Server was awesome! He was like magically there whenever I needed to refresh my coffee. Nice place to go for brunch in a Sunday and sit outside to watch the world, while the last bit of good weather holds out.

Food was good. Nothing over the top. I had great service from Jesseee. The coffee was definitely different then the average Starbucks. I loved it. The sodas come in glass bottles. And best of all they kept it warm inside while it was 45° outside. Everything was kept clean and tidy. Will be back to try other meals.

This place is okay, good basics. Friendly service, although not too prompt sometimes. Has a super cute outside patio, high tables, bar area, booths and regular tables. I would recommend for a no-frills breakfast.

Would definitely return! Went at 10 AM on a Sunday as a group of 5 and was seated outdoors within 2 minutes. There’s heat lamps so it was really nice. Service was decent, and really speedy. Eggs Benedict - I wouldn’t recommend because the hollandaise sauce was way too buttery (though maybe that’s how it is in the mid-west?). Sweet potato fries - good. Corn pancakes - good. Fried chicken - too small a portion of chicken imo. Green and lean omelette - this is what I got so I might be biased but it was really good. Only thing is i felt there was too much oil. But also a lot of cheese which was delicious.

Good Breakfast. I had the what was called The Border and it was great not only that I usually order tea and even that was good, it had a good taste to it. My wife had a grill cheese with a tomato soup, Soup was great but the sandwich was on bit dry side, overall it was good.

  • 4/5 WorkHard 4 years ago on Google
This was my first time at the Breakfast Club. I ordered the Border Bowl with an Arnold Palmer. The food was great! The staff is friendly, the service was quick. My only disappointment was there are NO FREE REFILLS. My Arnold Palmer was $3.50 and $1.50 for a refill. I would rather give the $1.50 into the top. This is my reason for a 4 star review. The portion was huge!

  • 5/5 Rick M. 4 years ago on Google
If I'm spending a weekday morning in downtown I usually stop here before going home. A little pricey but the portions are large and the food is excellent. Recommend the border bowl if you do stop by!

Parking sucked. Haha other than that the food was very good. We ordered pancakes, and the traditional eggs Benedict. The coffee was great as well! Would definitely be back the vibe and location were great as was the service! The only reason 4 stars instead of 5 is because the good was very good but not amazing. ‍

I tried a little of everything: eggs and bacon, oatmeal, blue corn pancakes, and a breakfast sandwich. The eggs and bacon were done exactly as I asked for them, the breakfast sandwich had a hint of zing due to horseradish mayo, the oatmeal was a huge portion, and the blue corn pancakes were over the top (as expected)!

Ordered medium hard eggs on a breakfast sandwich since I was eating in the car. I didn't want it to be a mess. When I bit into the sandwich both yolk AND whites literally POURED out of the sandwich over me and my car. I called back to let them know, and please let the chef know to check his eggs when cooking ... the hostess was totally apathetic. Didn't enjoy the food thus with a completely undercooked egg and a mess on top of it. I won't be back.

This review isn’t regarding the food, food is great. This review is regards to their online delivery platform and their service/support. I ordered through their website which redirects you to toasttab. I received my order minus the mimosas. So I called door dash because they delivered it, who then told me to get ahold of toasttab who then told me to call the restaurant itself. So after about 30 minutes on hold I got through, the gentleman at the breakfast club apologized, said he would have my mimosas plus an additional one sent out and hung up before I could even give him my name, address, order confirmation etc. Waited an hour thinking maybe he would just look up the last picked up order that had mimosas. An hour later I called again and I’m still on hold and they close in 6 minutes. Love the food, very disappointed in the service and support.

When it comes to breakfast in downtown Phoenix we always go to Matt's big breakfast. I mean how can you not right. However today we went to the breakfast club and we're pleasentaly surprised. I ordered the biscuits and gravy as I liked to do at new places. If you mess that up then it's hard to trust your other options IMO. I very much enjoyed my dish, the gravy was not totally warm but the flavor was enough for me to not say anything and just eat it. The potatoes I would say need to get improved, they were edible with the peppers and onions but I think a better tasting potato and not totally cooked down would serve as a better option here. Still the gravy and biscuits did it for me. My wife had the breakfast sandwich which was very unlike her. She liked it but didn't need all of the bread so I actually helped use some of that to finish my dish. I enjoyed how the toast had cheese melted on it. Our service was good and we didn't have any drinks other than water this time so not much else to add here. All and all we would recommend to you.

Just had a fabulous breakfast here with my wife. She had the 'Border Bowl' and I had the 'Huevos Rancheros'. Both meals were absolutely delicious! This along with some good coffee served by our very friendly and attentive waiter Christian made the whole experience a great one. We're in town for the week, and certainly hope to visit again before we go home.

Ehh is what I have to say about this place. The burrito bowel was pretty gross and the “chorizo” was shredded pork with hot sauce on it and even that didn’t taste good. The best thing I had was the orange juice. I had to cover my bowel In Ketchup in order to eat it but I still couldn’t finish no matter how hard I tried. My bf had the chorizo burrito and he said it was okay but the Belgian waffle was great he said. All In all I will not be returning unless I want to pay $50 to eat trash than I’ll return otherwise I will steal clear from this place

I was impressed with the quality of the food, it was delicious. My only concern was that our waitress forgot to put our order in. Then our waitress did not return for sometime, this was of some concern since we are sitting outside with an empty coffee cup in the mid 50s at 9am in the morning. There was a young man named Steve who was lighting the propane heaters and he did not give up on some of these heaters until they were all lit up so we could enjoy our outside dining experience. In fact, Steve noticed we were not getting any service for a prolonged period of time and took matters into his own hands and got us what we needed. Had it not been for Steve, our dining experience would have been ruined. I didn't get a chance to thank him personally so I hope this review reaches him, Thank you Steve! Art

Pleasant staff. Food was unseasoned and flavorless. Bacon was undercooked and there was so much unsalted egg on everything. The breading didn’t stick to the chicken fried chicken but tasted nice. French toast was quite good. Their house sauce doesn’t taste like anything. Hashbrowns weren’t crispy or seasoned. The food was just so bland. But I’ve come to find a lot of Arizona food is unseasoned. Spicy Mayo people.

This place is fantastic! Located in central downtown Phoenix, it is within walking distance of hotels and other downtown fun. They serve breakfast and lunch all day and their beverage and adult beverage menu does not disapoint.

Came here for brunch for my wife's birthday. Had been hearing great things about this place so I figured I would try it out. The food was delicious & iced coffees were so flavorful! The fruit served with the dishes were fresh & yummy! Definitely a great place for brunch or breakfast. Such a great location too, right in the middle of CityScape, a little hard to find if this is your first time. It is right across from EOS, you can't miss it!

Great food. Really good service. Very long wait to be seated, a full hour. The juicebar is really good. Had an omelet and it too was good. I recommend this place if you're willing to wait. The food is worth it.

Good stop for a quick breakfast bite and delicious breakfast cocktails. Nice patio for outdoor dining. Food was tasty but not next level. Good location if you are staying downtown.

Breakfast Club never disappoints- if it’s nice weather , the patio is the best for people watching. If it’s too hot- hit the bar for best in class service and the coolest air conditioning. The potatoes O’Brien are an absolute must. The steak and eggs Benny mouth watering. We loved the food so much we ordered the grilled cheese to go. I mean how could we not - fontina, cheddar…. Yaaaaas please !

The Breakfast Club has a lot going for it, including a large indoor dining space and plenty of outdoor tables, nestled in the heart of the CityScape mixed-use complex. Having eaten there three days in a row during a stay at the Kimpton, there were some pluses and minuses, but each day’s meal and service were better than the one before, and I would honestly give this around a 3.5 rating overall (and 4 on the last day we went). In general, I didn’t like ordering a plain coffee and having no idea if a free refill was available (no coffee service without asking for it, when the check was presented), and the pile of slimy yellow arugula on my avocado toast was not particularly appetizing. To their credit, I didn’t bring up the arugula until after finishing my meal, since I didn’t realize the extent of the problem upon first digging around the avocado. On the flip side, the staff does a good job of asking questions while taking your order — what type of milk, toast, bagel, egg, etc. — and the meals were served extremely fast and tasted great.

Great food, reasonable price. Orange juice tasted fresh squeezed and coffee was good. Service was fine, could have been a little more attentive when dropping off the food but overall experience was positive. Nice outdoor seating area as well.

The food was good. The portion was just right, and we liked the place. I give them 4 stars because our server was very grumpy and we found a hair in our food. When he brought me coffee, it was cold, so I had to ask someone to change that. Then we found a hair in my mom's food and when we told him, he took away the plate, came back and asked what would we like to do? No apologize, no saying "hey! I'm sorry for that" nothing!!!

Went to Breakfast Club just before noon mid week and was seated quickly. The location is great and within walking distance of downtown hotels.Service was fast and there is a huge menu. Being from the southeast, I had to try their spin on biscuits and gravy, and it was SO GOOD! The cold brew was delicious and refreshing. Would absolutely eat here again.

This place was amazing! We would give it 10 stars if we could! We got the OG eggs Benedict and the chicken fried chicken and OMG, delicious!! Service was great, and it was a perfect day to sit outside. Their coffee was also A+. We will definitely be back!!

On one day I ordered the same sandwich and in the morning the sandwich was so good and saucy I had to have it again but in the afternoon mind you it's the same sandwich the staff forgot my hash browns and when I took it back the hash browns were not crispy like I requested and the sandwich was a mess in a bad way. I asked if the cooks changed and was advised that they don't cut their cooks. To say I'm pissed the level of delicious food I received in the morning as opposed to the after noon was night and day. It also cost more for the same meal in the afternoon. I have attached receipts from the same day. I'm low key mad.
