Ok… so it was about 65% gay bar, 30% approachable girls…. Definitely fun! I was there to smoke cigars and drink a few, it was a very nice atmosphere! They could add a few comfortable chairs for a smoking section, but overall I loved the vibe! If I lived here it would definitely be a regular hangout! Great bar!

💖I found my new favorite place downtown!💖 The drinks are incredible, the vibe is so chill, and the service is outstanding! Wednesdays you can catch the coolest piano player/singer! Highly recommend checking this place out. Eat before you go, bring your own food, or you can order from your favorite third party food delivery service because they do not have a kitchen! I repeat, they DO NOT serve food! Their focus is drinks and beer and they do it well!!

This was my second time here and I won't be back. The bartender in the picture refused a serve my group siting us being drunk because ONE of the guys was loud. We are all teachers and we all naturally speaking loudly. I only had two drinks the whole night and was very offended by his statement. Why be a bartender if you can't brush off loud speaking people. Utterly ridiculous! I even set the timer on my watch to see how long he would ignore us and it went well over 25 minutes before I stopped timing it and decided to just go ahead and post to all my social and travel groups that this may not be the place they want to visit while in Phoenix. Too bad since it is a cute spot with a decent cigar selection. One bad worker can ruin an entire experience.

A perfect downtown escape! It’s so hard to find a decent bar after 9pm in Phoenix on a weeknight. Pssst... not all of us have a curfew! The bartenders impressed me because they cared, because they were curious and had a taste for flair. Don’t miss your chance to call this home, even if for just one night.

What a great bar. I want a place like this in my neighborhood. Great drinks, great location, and fun crowd. I’m looking forward to my next visit to Phoenix, I’ll be stopping by again.

Super cute bar, it was surprisingly big on the inside. They have a really nice outside patio area with loud music, cool lighting, and amazing fans with misters!! This was a fun spot! Will definitely return!

Cocktail bar in the Roosevelt Row district. Huge selection of spirits and beer, some wine options. Club feel with live Dj. Beer garden with misters. Humidor for a big cigar selection. House margaritas for $7.50. Diverse crowd, fun atmosphere.

One of our favorite local places, the patio is massive and a whole vibe and inside is as well. The food truck is bomb. Anything you get from there is fire. They have a bar inside and a mini bar outside which makes it convenient to order. All walks of life come together at this place. Music is good and the people at the door are always friendly. Back a few months ago there was a couple who were not the friendliest tried to fight us and my cousin was visiting from out of town. The staff handled the situation right away not to mention the owner personally came right to our table and made things right as well. Thank you!

Happened upon this spot on a Saturday night. What a blast! They had a full bar, great beer selection, and a taco guy! Plus they have a life size beer pong set, giant jenga, giant connect four and more! Great vibe. There was a dj who was keeping the mood going too!

Drinks were so good and the energy was great! Loved the bartender there - they were awesome and offered to make me a surprise drink with gin! Very friendly and the outside area is so cute and cozy! Also, they have Luxardo cherries which, to me, is a huge ++++++

Went for the first time last night, it was pretty great! Reminded me a little of Valley Bar meets the old Sidebar. The drinks were great, the vibes were good overall a great time. Only critique from my night was the music. They played way too much house music. If you want to relive your house/dupstep era from 2010-2014, this is your spot! I would have definitely appreciated a more diverse range of music.

I usually have a great experience here; however, tonight, with the temperature exceeding 100 degrees, I patiently waited at the bar to order three iced waters. After waiting for over 10 minutes, I politely approached the bartender and asked for my order. He inquired, "Is this all you're ordering?" I confirmed that I only wanted water, and he informed me that I could get my water outside because he needed to prioritize serving paying customers. This experience was quite upsetting because I've always enjoyed this place and have never encountered such treatment before. I was simply trying to stay hydrated on this exceptionally hot day.

Loved this place. Karaoke Monday was AMAZING! The shrimp tacos they serve in a food truck in the patio area right outside is super delicious! Would definitely be going back here.

Nice ambience. We stopped by on a Tuesday. There was a piano player singing great tunes. The bartenders were friendly. Apparently Fridays and Saturdays are the best days to go. But we enjoyed ourselves! Street parking. Accessible entrance.

On a visit to PHX, my sister insisted we go, and it was a great decision! Incredible selection of drinks and the bartenders are knowledgeable in the art of mixology. The doorman is super sassy and funny! Great vibes, guaranteed to have a fun time! Taco trunk in the patio is sooo good too! Don't miss out on this gem

Just happened to park next to this place so stopped in for after dinner drink. Glad I did! Great little cocktail lounge with a quiet patio. Nice vibe inside. Great cocktail menu and the drinks reflect, great service. Will most likely be a consistent stop when doing dinner in the area.

Great bar, amazing whiskey selection had the goerge t stagg, e h Taylor rye, and Weller 12 year. Bartender's were super friendly, music was great outdoor smoking area was off the hook. Taco cart was also very good, wings, tacos and cheese curds did the trick, best bar in Phoenix so far.

This place is absolutely incredible. The venue itself has an almost exclusive, VIP sort of vibe to it. Yet, the staff, and overall design are exceptionally comfortable, and inviting. The service was top notch! The selection of beers on tap is just as remarkable and impressive as the venue itself. If I could give 10 stars instead of 5, I would. Love this establishment and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality place to grab exquisite cocktails!

LOVE this place! I colud go on and on and tell you everything about the bar, EVERYTHING! But, its better to go in and experience it yourself. The bartenders are great and will tell you all about the Sazerac. Sean the bartender loves to tell it! Its a really cool place to. Try it and you'll see.

There was a super long line to get in but it went quick. The bartender is very fast! Asked for an espresso martini and he said, “I got you.” I received something of a hybrid between an espresso martini and Irish coffee. Still great!! There’s a Mexican food truck on site. It’s close to other bars too.

The four seasons gin cocktail was so tasty! It had a lavender side and a very colorful pea flour ice cube. Chilled vibe on the outdoor patio with a Mexican food truck. Red salsa was VERY spicy. Happy hour went late - Until 8pm! $2 off wells and cocktails.

This place is pretty chill. It is more on the expensive side but very welcoming. Some interesting selections of beer. But you always find something new.

Awesome modern bar with a very old school feel. Tons of beer, cocktails and spirit options and friendly bar tenders. The ambiance inside is great and the outdoor patio is a great spot to chill too. We enjoyed the street style tacos they serve. Great spot to relax, eat and drink on any night of the week! Will be back.

Love the lounge music. Probably a tie on the best gray bar in the valley. Drinks are reasonable priced. Not a fan of the groups of straight girls that get BLASTED and obnoxious AF ...but Saz cannot be held responsible for their actions. Drinks are crafted carefully and they also have Heineken zero on case you don't drink alcohol.

Oh this place is great! Cool building, beautiful patio. Fun people, excellent bartenders, food truck inside patio. Try the Old Fashioned. Great vibe

Great cocktail list, but the younger bartender was very rude. We simply asked about a few of the cocktails and he replied “Can’t you read”. After that we were ignored the entire time. He ruined our experience and we will not return because of him.

  • 3/5 Saif A. 11 months ago on Google
We waited 45 minutes on First Friday just so we could eat from their taco truck inside. Watch out for line cutters trying to smooze their way inside but security seems to have a lax attitude about this and their own system of favored patrons. I watched friends of the door people jump the line as I waited like a sap. Maybe a $5 or $10 handshake can help speed things up otherwise it may be busy and you'll have to wait your turn. Because of my level of intoxication the food was worth it but my stomach didn't agree the next day. Maybe just get a cocktail when it's not as busy.

Excellent place for drinks and they even have cigars! They have a massive outdoor patio with plenty of seating. Highly recommend the Sezerac drink. Lots of flavor and pairs well with a cigar. The service was great and the staff was friendly. Definitely check this place out!

Saz is always the place to be in the Roosevelt Row area! The service & atmosphere are next level, the music is always phenomenal, never had a drink too strong or too weak, always just right! Cigars are sold here too for those wishing to have a solid drink & cigar to smoke, just be courteous to those around you whilst doing so & they also have a food truck out back. By far one of our favorite spots, we will always recommend and bring our friends here too!

Sazerac has the best cocktails in Phoenix metro, period. The drinks are delicious, bartenders are very friendly, and the decorations are on spot. It is the most inviting bar in Roosevelt Row. Especially love the fire pit by the dog friendly patio. Oh and the tacos 😍

Came for karaoke around 9ish pm but unfortunately the last was already full up until close. We still had fun listening to everyone else and the other people at the bar were so fun and supportive!

  • 5/5 Jose M. 4 months ago on Google
Sazerac exceeded all expectations and was the perfect spot to celebrate the end of our week-long all staff retreat in Phoenix. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere felt inviting, fun, and comfortable. The outdoor patio area, in particular, provided a perfect setting to enjoy our food and drinks. The food was full of flavor. The drink menu was equally impressive, featuring expertly crafted cocktails that added an extra layer of enjoyment to our evening. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional customer service. The wait staff, including the standout bartender Miguel, demonstrated a genuine passion for their craft. Sazerac's prime location, coupled with the great music, made it an unforgettable night, and I can confidently say it has secured its spot as one of our favorites in Phoenix.

I really enjoying coming to this bar. There’s always a great atmosphere and on certain nights they have events like karaoke which is really fun. The food truck has some delicious wings and tacos! One of my favorite bars in Phoenix !

How to find peace of mind: come to Sazerac PHX. Everyone is welcomed in this lovely venue, and given the absurdity of the social climate, it's a true godsend to find a place where the Grown & Sexy folks can enjoy sanity and grace. The music suits the mellow mood. Plenty of space to enjoy distancing. The drinks are inexpensive and well crafted with generous amounts of love and respect. Please support a local business with a universal view of inclusivity. It's so worth it.

Sazerac is overlooked and well underrated. It’s a go-to spot for amazing craft drinks, incredible ambiance, and a fun patio with yard games. The layout encourages social interaction and their music playlist is forever keeping my ears perked up. Catch @stackintacos there every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights for some delicious street food options. I HIGHLY suggest the carne asada or brisket taco options!

Amazing cocktails and a mouthwatering draft list! The staff is super chill, and the weekly music is a lovely touch. This is THE spot where all the cool kids go, and it gets loud and chaotic very quickly. Would recommend for bar-hopping, but not for an evening of sitting and having conversation with friends.

This was such a cool place. A nice escape from the places catering to the college aged crowd. With that said, it's a little on the upscale side, and a little bit higher prices, but this helps keep the riff-raff out. It reminded of a classy lounge. The bartenders were cool and knew what they were doing. Their cocktails were on point. And they have a great choice of beer on tap. I had just come from Angels Trumpet across the street, who has an extensive selection of beer on tap, and nothing overlapped with their's. So if you're bar hopping, you can drink different stuff at both places. Also, the wallpaper in the restroom is worth a look.

I never doubted visiting this club at all. Their staff was very welcoming, attentive, and professional the way they assist any customers. I was not mistaken about visiting this place at all. They provided me a great service that worth paying for. I'll give my 100% satisfaction rating for this club. Until the next visits. Ideal!

Just discovered this place, it is the best! Started the night here for New year's Eve, hit up wilderness mainly for some food, then the flannel ball that was a total bust and then ended up back here, it was just simply the best! Every cocktail we have tried has been beautifully and perfectly crafted, seriously the best cocktails I've had. The bartenders have been friendly and helpful and clearly just enjoy their job and enjoy to talking to their customers. Way busier now then our first drinks here earlier in the night and they are busting it out with smiles and friendly talk and great service. They also have a great selection of beers on tap. Glad to be winging in the 20s here and I can't wait to come back!

I walked into this bar and the energy was just amazing. It was during happy hour and our first stop on a 3 bar crawl lol. I already knew what I was having when I sat down. The red lights set a mood and the option to hang on the patio is great to have. I will definitely be returning and bringing more friends! We had the Track Record Gin, Genepy Herbal Liqueur, Apricot, Lime, Bitters - Fruity & Floral - The flavors were great!!! I want to try the Mili Vanili next!

Probably one of my favorite bars in DT Phoenix! The bartenders are always a pleasure and they really take care of my cousin and I every time we go. Anytime we are in DT we have to stop here for a sage gimlet! Also, if you happen to come on a night with tacos, you NEED to try the brisket taco!!! It is a religious experience!
