Came here for our second wedding anniversary and we were served by Joseph. He made sure our experience was above and beyond. He was knowledgeable on all the items and drinks. We are making this our regular spot for anniversaries and celebrations. 10/10 Also THE FOOD! Cooked literally to perfection

I came here for a late lunch and was seated right away without any waiting. This restaurant has great decor and atmosphere... cozy yet elegant and classic. Our server was polite, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu items and offered good suggestions. I ordered the lobster roll and it was by far the best I have ever had. It was divine The lobster was fresh, tender and well-cooked. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned. The main was quite filling and unfortunately, I didn't have any more room for dessert. What a wonderful experience.

We were greeted at the door and taken to our seats within minutes of our arrival. AJ was an excellent waiter, the atmosphere was amazing and food absolutely delicious. This will be our go to place for special occasions. Thank you for an awesome experience.

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Capital Grille for my birthday 🎉. The staff made me feel extra special with their table decor and dessert tray. My sirloin & Australian lobster tail special was absolutely the way I love to eat steak with lobster tail. I missed out on lobster bisque this time but their lobster mac was delicious. My Bohemian cocktail hit all the right tones for me, too. Very happy experience! Can't wait to try them again.

5 stars!! Incredible feast! I was unable to conclude which I enjoyed better, the steak or the lobster. Both were unimaginable. The lobster Macintosh n cheddar was additionally astonishing. Polished the dinner off with a delectable creme brulee. Certainly suggest and be back soon again.

This was our first visit here, Very friendly and professional staff, the men were dressed in suits. The dress overall is business casual, although my husband did wear jeans and a short sleeve casual style dress shirt. It is pricey as expected and the portion sizes were larger than expected for that style of restaurant. We tried the "off menu" items they offered and they did not disappoint. Our waitress answered any questions we had and since it was a date night, she surprised us with a couple of the desserts (I sadly did not take a photo of that), the cheesecake and Chocolate Espresso Cake. They were so good! We noticed one of the tables across from us had a birthday, so before the guests arrived, they put a note that said Happy Birthday and some large confetti on the table. Little things like that, I think make a very nice jester. It was tastefully simple but special, in my opinion. I would definitely go back for a special occasion. And I would recommend this place, just expect to spend minimum $200+ if there are two of you.

My husband told me to make a last-minute reservation for our anniversary. So I knew the perfect spot, and the Capital Grill did not disappoint. I put in the memo section that it was our anniversary. Not only did they set the table with rose petals and candlelight, but Aaron, our server was on top of every detail and request. The drinks.. wine, lemon drops, and mint lemonade were in heavy rotation. Appetizers - Korean smoked bacon, delicious. Entrées- surf n turf- seabass- ribeye- medallions w lobster, Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, and Brussels sprouts. All sides are big enough for sharing. They even gave us a surprise dessert. I had to do a group photo, so Aaron took that as well...he even gave the guys a single rose to hand to us! Talk about over and beyond customer service. Overall 10/10 every time. Perfect Nigh!!!

Melissa was amazing and our dinners were absolutely perfect. I got the surf n turf special and my husband got the sliced filet. He can be hard to please with food and he RAVED. Mine was delicious and well exceeded my expectations. Could not recommend more!!!

A very very good restaurant..this was a second visit and we had the same professional service. Kind and knowledgeable staff. Accommodated a birthday celebration and helped with lighting the cake. Had the Seared Citrus Glazed Salmon with mashed potatoes, it was worth every dollar.. will visit again.

Our experience there was so wonderful! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing! Our server Brooklin went above and beyond and made us feel so welcomed and special! Stephanie, who served us some of our drinks, was very sweet and helpful as well! Everything was great and if we visit Phoenix again we're definitely coming back!

Excellent all the way around as always.. never a disappointing meal. Seared Tenderloin with Butter Poached Lobster Tails and Sushi-Grade Sesame Seared Tuna with Gingered Rice, White Soy and Sambal Vinaigrette were perfectly cooked and well seasoned too. There are times when you make a decision and hope you made the right one. This was one of those moments and it was certainly a very good decision. When you want to treat yourself to fine dining and excellent service, we'd recommend this business. The wife was happy and for me, that means everything! Of course, I enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere and that was the icing on a delicious cake. Maybe next time, they'll have carrot cake on the dessert menu.

I stopped here for dessert before leaving town. You might think that because I wasn't ordering a full meal that the experience would have been less than incredible. That couldn't have been further from the truth. Tatum, my server, was incredibly kind and warm. The dessert I ordered was fantastic and I couldn't have been more pleased with the dining experience. Outstanding! Dining there for Thanksgiving was a great experience. The turkey dinner and peppercorn steak were beautifully presented, and perfectly cooked. Chef Matt Miller is clearly talented with a gift in understanding flavor profiles. The wait staff were professional, friendly and made the dining experience feel like you were a welcome guest in their home. Jessica, our designated wait staff, checked in with us often, and offered insights and suggestions. (Be sure to try the amazing salads - how can a salad be that good!). Ambiance was great, had soft music in background, easy to have a conversation. Much bigger inside than it appears with a range of table top sizes (good for singles, couples, groups )also small outside patio dining. Also the Long Island cocktail and the virgin Mojito were perfectly made. Kudos to the bartender. Overall, highly recommend.

Best take-out in the Valley, you can select from a great custom menu to a private cut meat selection you can cook yourself from home! Service here is always top-notch, I didn't even have to leave my vehicle! Big Thank you to Capital Grille and all staff members during these times, can't wait to dine-in soon!!

I proposed to my fiance here on 5/23/20 (she said yes!). Cinnamon took my reservation and coordinated with the rest of the staff to help make it an unforgettable occasion! The entire staff was on point and provided phenomenal service with a personal touch! The food was perfectly prepared, right down to the complimentary congratulatory desert! Excellent service from beginning to end! We will return.

I took my wife for her birthday to The Capital Grille and it was an unforgettable experience. When we arrived to the restaurant, a table was prepared for us with birthday confetti and a birthday card. This action may seem meaningless to others but little details like this go a long way for us. It demonstrated a level of care that they show to their customers. Our server, Rocco, was the best. He was attentive, informative, and friendly. He took very good care of us. The steaks served at The Capital Grille were the best my wife and I have ever had in any steakhouse we have visited previously. She ordered the filet mignon; a chef suggestion. I got the 22 oz. ribeye. They both were unbelievably good!!! We highly recommend this place.

Lunch there today and they should be featured as the poster child for best anti-Covid practices! Staff gloved and masked, disposable menus, tables spaced, no condiments on table. Server told us they were strictly enforcing all CDC standards. They aren’t even allowed to remove crumbs from tables or box up leftovers. They are expensive but the food,service, and willingness to do whatever it takes to please a customer makes it well worth it. Our server was Rocco C and he is as good as it gets!!

We came from Arizona to attend a convention in Indianapolis and were looking for a fine dining restaurant. The concierge at the Marriott suggested Capital Grill which doesn’t sound like a fine dining establishment, but boy were we surprised and delighted! The food and the ambiance were outstanding and the Capital Grill will be at the top of our list for fine dining in Indianapolis. This restaurant is a real WINNER!!

Always a great experience. Impeccable service and great food. I stepped out of my comfort zone and got the seared tuna instead of their always delicious steaks. I was not disappointed! I took the waiter's recommendation and had it very rare. It literally melted in my mouth like butter. The white soy dipping sauce was to die for. Also had the cast iron shrimp as an appetizer...so full of flavor! We only go here about once a year and it is always worth it!

Great sop for lunch. Had a fantastic cup of clam chowder, glass of Mosel, and the Capital G Cobb. It is a standard Cobb but with a great scratch made dressing, crispy lardons and about 6 oz of perfectly grilled prime fillet. Randi is an outstanding server. Easy place to go for lunch anytime.

Wow the service here is impressive. The food is fresh and flavorful. We had the salmon and chicken. Unfortunately yes the entrees are a la carte but you get a decent amount of food and if you do decide to order the sides, they are big and fill you up! We made reservations for my boyfriends birthday and put that in the notes and they decorated a table for him and gave him a complimentary dessert! That was a very nice and thoughtful touch. I highly recommend coming here for any type of celebration.

Mushrooms were an excellent compliment to our steaks. Spinach was shared and okay, not a real big spinach person. Asparagus was a generous side that everyone enjoyed. Private Room we celebrated multiple birthdays and was nice to have available a private room for our party of 20.

It was amazing! Participated in restaurant week, definitely going again. We were concerned with going out with everything going on, but their standards exceeded expectations. They cleared off linens and disinfected all surfaces and put new linens for each sitting. The food was great. The claim chowder was really good. Perfect consistency. The new York strip was cooked to a perfect medium. The mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were a great pairing.

My wife ordered a steak of which I advised her not to. It’s never cooked right. She will only eat well done. It didn’t come out well done, it came out medium rare, at best. We sent it back. When it came back it looked as if they threw it in the fire, not above it. Inedible The service was good but a bit slow and my meal was fine. For the prices, definitely not worth it. If you have plenty of time and want to drink, not eat, the ambience is great

My absolute favorite special occasion restaurant in Arizona. We came here for my birthday and I got my usual, Seared Tenderloin with Butter Poached Lobster Tails. Saying it's amazing, is an understatement. The steak is always cooked perfectly and it's so soft and flavorful. Since COVID started back in March, I've been very hesitant to go anywhere. This was a huge treat for us to be out in a restaurant. I was extremely pleased to see that Capital Grille was actually following guidelines and not seating people close to each other. Service was spectacular as always!

Great addition to the island. Simple food, excellently executed. Great drinks. We've had a few of the specials - Eggplant Parmesan, lasagna, lobster tacos - all delicious. The burger off of the regular menu was what brought me back after my first visit.

Best dinner I've had in a long time! The Stole Dole martinis were smooth and fresh. Each course built on the previous and provided a delightful culinary experience. David was a top notch server with excellent recommendations. Will definitely be back!

The best restaurant to celebrate at. They helped make my husbands birthday memorable! Their service was wonderful. Their food is incredible. Our main dish was the filet mignon with their mashed potatoes. Hands down my favorite meal. Their dessert was cooked to perfection. The only downside with this location is if you aren’t familiar with the area, it can be difficult to find!

Tonight was the first time everyone in our party dined at this restaurant. We ordered the Prime Tomahawk Special with 3 side dishes, two starters and two desserts and obviously a few drinks. Everything was delicious. What made it 5 stars for me wasn’t the food, it was our waiter. Kenneth C not only read the atmosphere of our party, but added to it. He was able to add dialogue aside from the menu interact with each individual and create continues dialogue and laughter. He also recommended some amazing drinks and dinner options. Simply the best for any event, my daughter had a memorable night. The food is exquisite every dish from chicken to seafood and best of all steaks. Service is without a doubt the most memorable. They made sure we were very happy and feel at home. They take all covid safety measures very seriously. I plan to do dinner there again in the future.

Had a great meal here during a layover in LA. This little hole in the wall is actually very hard to find. We arrived early and it was a good thing we did as it is a very small dining room. My biggest complaint about the room is how dark it is. It was almost impossible to read the menu or to even see what we were eating! However the salads were very large and delicious. We ordered 3 pizzas - there are so many different ones on the menu that it was hard to decide between them all. I loved the sausage pizza.

Brandon was an absolute pleasure to have as a server along with his sidekick (who brought out the wine). They made our experience worth while and went above and beyond to make sure we were doing well and had everything we needed for our meal. To start, we split a Caesar salad 🥗 and then for entrées had the shellfish platter which consisted of shrimp 🦐, lobster 🦞 and oysters 🦪. My bf had the steak 🥩 with cream spinach. As far as drinks, the Dirrty Goose 🍸 (w. bleu cheese stuffed olives) and Blueberry Bourbon Sidecar 🥃 were soo good and were perfectly balanced drinks. We had the En Route bottle of wine which was also killer good! 🍷🍷 The food was PERFECT for what we were looking for and it was my bf's first time going to Captial Grille. Excited his first time was at this location and with the servers we had. The host was nice too! Thanks you guys! Until next time✌🏽

I had the bone in filet with a South African Lobster tail and a side of the lobster mac and cheese. I had an appetizer of A5 Wagyu beef, incredibly flavorful, the finest meat to be had. The food was prepared and presented perfectly and the customer service was outstanding.

Service: All servers that I have observed around were present and friendly. Ours was very attentive as well, however, I wish he were more knowledgeable about the food. Maybe he was new :) Noise Level: On a Christmas Eve at 6pm, the restaurant was fairly full. Despite that it did not feel crowded or noisy, as they have good acoustics. Prices: This was not a cheap dinner, but the bill was appropriate for the quality of meal and overall experience that we have received. This was our fist time dining at this restaurant. We went with our server's recommendations and received very savory, cooked to perfection, well presented food. The perfect timing of appetizers, soups, entrees and deserts making their way to our table allowed my wife and I to enjoy private conversation and a romantic evening. The portions are generous and they do offer take home boxes. Their Brussels sprouts are amazing.

The salmon was excellent and they had us spaced out appropriately for these times. Tip your servers well! They are on the front lines just trying to make a living. Stay home if you cannot tip well!!!

The atmosphere and professional service was top notch. Excellent choice for fine dining in Phoenix. Melissa, our server, was very personable. I had the bone in ribeye, done medium rare as ordered, perfection. Others had the sea bass, which I usually like, in a delicious sauce, and a filet mignon, which was also excellent.

3 weeks ago Staff is excellent, so friendly and personable. Bartender picked a great wine, server and team were quick and helpful and really great. We were looking forward to a good steak but it seemed to be not a great cut or something was just off about it. I was expecting the steak to just be better overall, especially at about 40 bucks for a NY strip. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great probably just wouldn't go there for dinner again. But would definitely go for drinks and appetizers or maybe just order a sandwich next time since it isn't really a "steak house" like we were expecting it to be, by the name at least. Cool atmosphere and even has a nice patio. Really liked the bar area. The crispy shrimp was good and not too heavily breaded either. The brussel sprouts were delicious.

We came here to celebrate our 28th anniversary and they did not disappoint. We were seated immediately and the table was decorated with confetti, a rose and a card congratulating us on our anniversary. They made the night even better with their outstanding service and food made to perfection. Kevin our waiter was great at explaining all our options and showed us what a great waiter/waitress should always be. We started with the French onion soup which was amazing, I’m going to dream about that soup tonight and my husband had the Cesar salad. Next was the lobster and filet with roasted mushrooms. We never had to ask for refills staff was very attentive. They topped the night with dessert which was beyond delicious. We can’t wait to come back for my birthday! Incredible! Would highly recommend for a Mother’s Day celebration. We reserved a few weeks prior and we’re reserved in a more private area with only 20 tables or so and we could hear each other speak. Krystel was a very knowledgeable and attentive server. She knew the meats, the wines and the menu very well. We each ordered something different but we were all impressed with everything. The pineapple cocktail, the salads, the soup, and the main entree. Since we were celebrating a birthday and Mother’s Day, we also had a bottle of wine and a complimentary desert. All was so delicious! Highly recommend the au gratin potatoes!

I love coming to the Capital Grill! The steaks are some of the best in the restaurant world. This visit we had the mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. The potatoes were great but the spinach had too much salt. I had the chocolate mocha cake for dessert. It was fabulous

I don't have much to complain about. Only thing was that I made reservations for a party of 4 well in advance (like 2 days) and was kinda annoyed at the fact we got there 10 minutes early and still didn't get seated until 20 minutes after our reservation time. And we got sat in a very back room that was very bland looking and we felt cut off as we were the only table back there. Our food took a long time to get to us. Refills on drinks took a while. We had to ask our water guy to please find our waiter and ask him to bring drinks. But other than that the food was great!! I would definitely come back again and give it another shot!

I surprised my wife to dinner for her birthday here and let me tell you it was definitely worth it. Yes, it was on the more pricey side but for this occasion it was worth it. Our server Jessica was phenomenal with her service and recommendations. The food was amazing we got the steak and salmon. The portions were kind of small but we left full.

Went here for lunch. Their prices are very reasonable for a high-quality fillet. The service was very good, and our server was polite and efficient. I would say this is not a great place for a date, especially at lunchtime. It seemed like everybody else was there for business or political meetings, and the vibe is too old-fashioned for me.

Celebrated Mother’s Day with my family here! Wonderful service and great food, we actually had a reservation set for another restaurant very close (Hillstone) that had horrible customer service before we could even get seated. So glad we were able to get in with Capital. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant, Jade and Jose were great.

Excellent Thanksgiving Day Prix Fixe Dinner Our first visit on a Thanksgiving Holiday and ordered the Pre fixe menu option. Slow/roasted, moist Turkey and mashed potatoes. Outstanding brioche stuffing and pecan honey sweet potatoes prepared to Perfection, ending with the pastry chef’s Holiday pumpkin cheesecake. Mark and Cinamon on the management team welcomed us like family and our supurb experienced server Joseph created a well-rounded, memorable dining experience! I got a table for two in the perfect bar section. Service was great. Had the 22oz bone-in ribeye, asparagus, bowl of lobster bisque, and ahi tuna tartare with avocado, mango, and Sriracha.

Had a wonderful experience here for our 30th anniversary. The staff and food was great and went above and beyond thank you we shall return!!!!
