Incredible went to nightly, Knox, and had such a great time. The food was good and the staff was incredible, and helpful, security was over and beyond helping people with disabilities. The Sound was better than stadium concerts. I drove from Tucson to this and back was well worth the time and drive I will return to Crescent Ballroom. Thank you

This venue has so much to offer! I came for the weekly jazz jam. When I arrived, I was lucky to get metered parking right across the street. I did see, however that there was a parking garage across the street as well. I got there a little early. It was pretty busy, there was trivia going on and people were arriving for a rap concert that was happening in the ballroom. Though it was busy at first, the atmosphere and ambiance was great! The head of security Kasey, was really nice. He told me the jam was fairly new and that they don’t usually get a lot of vocalist. The jazz jam was hosted by a band called Scumbag Airlines and their bandleader Jacob, who played the drums. The band sounded great. It was a pleasure to sit in and sing a few jazz standards with them. My servers provided great service and the food was delicious! I had 2 jazz jam specials which included a glass of house wine and a tostada for $10! I had the veggie and vegan tostada. I look forward to going back again really soon. If this review was helpful, please give a thumbs up.

I've gone here ever since it opened for concerts. It's a fantastic venue, and it has brought a lot of my favorite artists over the years. The Crescent Ballroom is one of my favorite venues in Phoenix.

Great concert venue. Great drinks. Great food. Great location. Their carne asada burritos are LIFE. Equally as good as Phx Burrito House. I just really love this place.

I really enjoyed the Crescent Ballroom. We went to see one of my favorite bands, Bahamas, and got tickets only a few hours before the show. The drinks were great, and the venue is very intimate with a nice layout. There is standing room in front and off to one side of the stage, with some tiered seating in the back of the room for VIP/ADA. Overall it makes for great energy and a very intimate concert experience. Looking forward to the next one!

I loved seeing the bands there that was with 10 Years! I also loved the fact that they have a water jug so we could get free refills, and I also loved that I could pay once for soda and get free refills throughout the time I was there! Unlike The VanBuren. Each time I got a refill, it was $3.

Nice place to see a show. I recently saw Boris there. They had the benches out so us older peeps can seat. There is a pay to park lot In the back and they have nice texmex food selection. Also very well aur condition so your not sweating non-stop. Also great selection of beers and spirits.

This is a great place for downtown fun you get to eat drink and Sunday was triva night with prizes. The prices are very reasonable for downtown for a night of fun about 20 bucks a head to have a great night out. It does have other events different every night so pick and choose at your hearts content. Take the family or take a date you won't be making a mistake.

Talk about a great place to see live music. Wow. Saw Glorious Sons there last night and I am still absolutely amazed at how up close we were able to be. Small place, big sound, great value. Flew in from MN to see this one and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Great place to go see your music.

This small venue is great for very intimate shows. No matter where you stand it's going to be a vibe for sure. I like the front so that's where I like to stand. There are some "bleacher" like seats in the back. It also has a small restaurant/bar attached up front for a bite or drink before or after the show.

My company and I visited for dinner and a show. Security and all members of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. They have a Mexican inspired menu with street style tacos, burritos, enchiladas, tacos dorados, and delicious nachos. The Barbacoa is so tender and juicy 🤤 I highly recommend it in taco form or in a burrito! First time I've had a Green Tea shot! 🥃 dangerously refreshing you'll forget how many you had 😂 I'll be returning!

We attended a Maine concert there and arrived 5 hours earlier to sit outside in line so we can get close to the stage and band. The employees were AMAZING. They had people bringing us pitchers of Ice water( it was August in Phoenix) and Security were wonderful. I have been to over 200 concerts and this little hidden GEM had a crisp clear sound system, fantastic food, good prices on food and drink.( cola was $ 2.oo, not $4.00+ like most bar) . my adult daughter even stayed after the show to locate a manager. She felt it was necessary to praise the staff for a job well done. .

    * one of the most thoughtful spaces for live music in the STATE. the staff always brings a smile to you (* recently maseked) face. the variety of music is so eclectic that you're bound to catch a vibe you'll love.

One of Downtown’s best venues for food, drinks, and entertainment. Staff was extremely pleasant and attentive, and the verde queso enchiladas left me panting for a good half hour (spicy!!). The space is small, with maybe a dozen tables inside, and a dozen more spread out on first and second levels of the patio. Music venue holds a couple hundred people, and no matter where you’re watching the show it feels like you’re in the front row. We watched as The Color 8 and Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra knocked the roof off the place. To say it was fun is an understatement.

This is a dope venue! Very small and not what I expected, but i mean that in a good way. Drinks are good, reasonably priced. There is also food which I heard was great too. If you have a concert here definitely go, it's a great time. Nice and intimate definitely feels up close and personal with the artists.

This venue has it all whether you are the show or the patron. Restaurant with seating indoors and a patio. The concert hall is just the right size for up and coming bands keeping it personal but not like broom closet in a cave. Security does an awesome job keeping under age patrons separate from the party crowd and bleachers set up in the back for us chaperone parents. When we go, we have a small meal in front and when the doors open we walk about ten feet, hand them the tickets then walk right in the venue. Below is a photo of a meet and greet before the main show.

We had a wonderful time listening to music, drinking and dancing at Crescent ballroom last night for Latin music. My sister suggested it we go early to get a good spot, enjoyed a few.cocktails. The first band was high energy, had am amazing sax player and several members exchanged the lead roll. Of course the Latin dancer commanded the most attention. She even had her own instrument to pump up the volume on her shoes! The second band was an all woman band with plenty to talk about, each one was wonderfully talented and bilingual, singing amazing music with feeling and heartfelt stories. I would definitely recommend Cresecent ballroom!

Such a fun place. It's half a restaurant and half a concert venue. I great place to see local talent and eat good food. I was also pleasantly surprised that the food was super good and very reasonable for a downtown Phoenix night life spot. 10/10 would recommend

I've been here several times for live bands and dinner. The food and drinks aren't bad, fairly priced for the area. Staff is always friendly, and their setup sounds great everytime! So long as they keep booking the bands and artists I like, I'll definitely continue to come here. I also like the fact that they have an Alternative night, as there aren't too many places around that host goth or alternative nights too often.

I’ve been hear for a handful of concerts and each of them have been awesome. The venue is small which is an awesome place for a concert. It creates an intimate vibe with the performers. The bar has great service and the drinks are reasonably priced. Definitely will be going here again in the future

Ordered to go and paid $30 for 2 burritos. Tortillas were fantastic but contents were okay…they had no flavor, it was just unseasoned meat with no additional content. Chips were also good but can’t give a good rating when I get better tasting food at Taco Bell for cheaper by a lot. Would be interested in trying other options like nachos to see if that’s better, just don’t recommend burrito.

  • 5/5 Scott M. 2 years ago on Google
I call the Crescent Ballroom, Downtown Phoenix's classic convertible, as it's a restaurant by day and a bar and performing arts venue by night. For eats, the tacos and chips and salsa are fresh and tasty and the supply of red and green salsas seem to be never ending (I use lots of hot sauce on my food!). The venue is small, which is ideal for getting up close to see your favorite visiting band or listen to a storyteller.

  • 5/5 Michael L. 1 year ago on Google
The Crescent Ballroom is always a great place to see a show... and I've seen a ton of shows here. Most recently, MC Chris. Very happy the Crescent booked him. Keep the great shows coming.

  • 5/5 Beginner P. 1 year ago on Google
There is no better place to see a concert, hands down. They get some fairly big name bands playing here. The concert venue is obviously epic, but the lounge is a great place to hang out just by itself. The staff are all friendly, the food is good, and they have a beautiful outdoor patio. A must visit.

I-10 nachos, Bean & Cheese and Barbacoa Burritos are the best. Green salsa is on a whole other level. I love how they are a small venue because that creates a personal experience. I love the staff and the Inclusive environment they've created.

  • 4/5 Laura O. 2 years ago on Google
Very cute little venue. Much more intimate than the van Buren across the street. I love that it feels more like a very popular open mic night here than a "concert". The sound was really good here too, none of the echoing at some other places in town. Can't wait for my next show

This venue has a special place in my heart. From flyering shows here as a teen, and hugging the all ages barrier to be as close as possible to the stage, to now being of legal drinking age and being able to enjoy $3 beers on a given night. Crescent always has something going on, fantastic music, affordable food and drinks, and an unbeatable atmosphere. Crescent has become a Phoenix landmark since it opened, and I always recommend it to friends visiting from out of town.

  • 5/5 Yesenia C. 5 months ago on Google
Went for club nokturno and it was so fun. They played all the best hits in rock en español and pop. They have a really good food menu surprisingly for a bar, and I highly recommend the burritos. There's a lot of seating outside with djs playing music and there's a second floor balcony with more tables. My favorite drink is the honey badger. It tastes almost like a Moscow mule but with a honey taste and ginger.

First time seeing a show here and it was a great experience. Its such a cool venue and Im excited to see another show here next year! Staff was friendly, the sound and lighting effects for each of the bands were awesome! Parking was available right across the street, which was super easy unlike some other areas in downtown

Went to see Mouse Powell here tonight! He is from Phoenix, AZ and as always, he put on a GREAT show for his home city!!! If you haven't heard of him, I highly recommend giving him a listen! Especially if you like Grieves, The Living Legends, Prof, Hieroglyphics, Brother Ali, or any other artists with similar style to them. Crescent Ballroom is pretty small, but besides that, it is everything you would want or need in an Underground Hip Hop Venue. A small merch table on the way to the restrooms, a Bar along the side wall, a set of small bleachers along the back wall, a dance floor in the middle, and a decent sized stage for artists to move around well. The door security and other workers are all pretty chill too! I highly recommend both Mouse Powell and Crescent Ballroom!!! 😉 🤗 🤩 👌 👍 💃🕺

Good place for workday lunch with great nachos, guacamole, tacos, burritos, and tortas. Plenty of capacity with outdoor patio in good weather - crowded inside and longer wait in hot weather. Great place for Happy Hour and listening to band/concerts in the back room.

  • 5/5 Erin S. 3 years ago on Google
Delicious food, daily handmade salsas, fantastic drinks (try the Rest Stop!), and a brand new vegan menu in addition to the classic one. Perfect concert venue for small shows, and an ever-updated list of things to do every night of the week, both at the venue itself and in thr community surrounding it. My absolute favorite place in all of Phoenix.

It is small but that means there isn't a bad place to stand or sit in the whole venue. We saw Loveless and it was an all around great show. Drinks were fairly priced and food was available before the show if we wanted to eat, we didn't eat but the food looked and smelled great. They have a full resturant and bar with the shows being held in the back. It was a great use of the space and made for a fantastic night. The staff was super friendly and there were a lot of them so someone was always around to answer any questions.

  • 5/5 Savannah R. 4 years ago on Google
The Crescent is a wonderful place to go to a concert! It is usually split in the middle of the venue for underaged and of aged drinkers. Also, if you want to sit, there are stands/seats in the back of the venue (which still have a great view of the stage). Besides that, the food is great especially as a hangout spot with your friends!

  • 5/5 Clancy O. 4 years ago on Google
What a great place! Went to go see a concert. The ballroom was spacious yet intimate. Bartenders were very nice and fun and you could buy burritos and food from the bar which my spouse loved! Camt wait to be back!

I went to yet another show at the Ballroom and I am always happy when I leave there. The show was great! It seems that the crescent knows what people like. I go to lots of shows in the valley and the Crescent Ballroom is one of my favorites. Air conditioner was cold, drinks were awesome, they have delicious food! Do yourself a favor, take your date here and *maybe* get lucky cause she'll think the atmosphere is sexy.... just go!

Went here last Sunday for their “cumbia” dance night. I was DD for my friends and it was a great time. Pretty much everyone was dancing and the atmosphere was electric. Service was great and all the employees were very friendly. Probably the cleanest club venue I have been to in the valley to be honest. Would highly recommend!

  • 5/5 Serena H. 1 year ago on Google
AWESOME!! Saw the venomous pinks and Anti-Flag. Small club with a great patio bar. Great for getting up close, the stage is only a few feet high with no walkway, very exciting. Also bleacher seating in the back for people who don't want to be in the thick of it all. One of the best venues I have found in Phoenix thus far.

  • 5/5 Blake 1 year ago on Google
I really like this venue. Their sound system was loud n clear yet not so loud that my ears felt like everything was muffled for days afterwards. The staff were great, security was unobstrusive yet diligent. The bartenders were quick, friendly and the Vegas Bomb I ordered was perfect. The under 21 area adjacent to the stage has plenty of room, the over 21 area has roughly equal standing room as well as riser style seating which is nice after intense bouts of fist pumping and head banging. 😀 🤘 Parking was easy and plentiful, however most lots downtown aren't cheap. Can't wait to see some more shows there!

The Crescent ballroom is such a good music venue in Phoenix. I've been there total of four or five times now and thoroughly enjoyed my time each time. There is some seating area in the back but most of the space is standing area. It has a real up close and personal feel which is really nice. There's also a restaurant. I have not eaten there but I've heard from others that it is really good. Overall just fantastic place to be.

This was a fun venue and the food/drinks were really good. They had a hip hop night going on that would be a $5 cover charge. We didn't end up going inside but we could see in the ballroom and there was a DJ and room for dancing.

  • 5/5 Alex S. 4 years ago on Google
Large outdoor seating area, wide selection for the bar. The dance room has a $5 cover fee but at the end of the night my friends got in for free. There's a bar in the dance area also. We went to the 90s hip hop event and it was super fun, lots of dancing and good times. They have water easily accessible and the staff is chill. Dark lighting at night which makes the vibe very cool and fun. Clean bathrooms and good drinks, except they don't know how to make a long island iced tea (lol)

In Mesa, AZ., at the Nile Theater, I think it was, at a wrestling event, I got the chance to meet 2 Cold Scorpio and Tim Storm. That was an awesome night. These 2 veteran wrestlers spoke highly of my son, EJ Sparks. We also took pics together and both wrestlers said, that they were surprised and honored that I was a fan and remembered them. That's how much fun I have at the wrestling events. As Mama used to say, "I've been a wrestling fan since I was knee high to a puddle duck". It just means, since I was a little child, for those who never heard the saying.

Love this venue, hands down one of my my top three places in the valley to catch a show. The venue is fairly small but makes the atomosphere more cozy and intimate. The acoustics here are great, good beer selection, cocktail and fantastic food! If you see an artist or band you love playing a set at the Crescent Ballroom......stop what you are doing immediately and buy a ticket. This place typically sells out quick.

  • 1/5 Cora T. 4 years ago on Google
They provided no information on the fact that they separate those under 21 in a tiny fenced off area to the side of the stage in a way that no on could see the musicians for a concert you have to pay full price for and only get half of the experience. The 6 of us watched dreadfully as the audience interacted with the artists, as they were the only thing we could really see from the fenced off area.
