I am homeless at the moment and had no choice but to stay here. The photos are very misleading. Upon me entering my room there were 4 dead roaches on the floor. That night I killed over 30 roaches. I stopped counting after 37. There were roaches everywhere. And I do mean everywhere! Big ones and little ones. The stove didn't work but I wasn't comfortable cooking anything there anyway. The floors were filthy, the room smelled like mildew, there were burn holes all over the blanket even though this was a non smoking room. The front desk staff wasn't surprised that I saw roaches and informed me that I wouldn't be able to get a refund. I killed roaches on the bed, in the bathroom and the kitchen my entire stay. There were also 3 dead roaches in the fridge. I had to clean the room with bleach before settling in. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had staying at a hotel. They charge too much to have such a bad roach infestation. Not to mention they have the nerve to charge a $100 deposit for the stay. Never again.

I don't know what happened to our room, but it's very filthy. The bed had dirt or something all over it, even though it was made nicely. There's roaches, too many. It's disturbing and gross. There's been patch work done all over the tub, the walls are sticky and dirty. Smelled like smoke even though this is non smoke. Some fellow knocked on our door and said pay your bill? Even though we had someone already pay for our stay. It's just not that pleasant here.

Tried to check in but the computers were down. Booked with Priceline. Still have not received a refund. Not necessarily this location's fault and actually the front desk allowed me to put them on speaker and talk to Priceline to confirm cancellation.

Don't ever go there. Cigarette burns in bedding. Mold on walls, drawing on walls. Bathroom was disgusting, curtain hanger was broken and barely hanging on. Cigarette butts all over the property. Garbage bags sitting outside the rooms. I could go on but I think you get the picture.

Horrible experience, staff was rude since minute 1. Room had not been cleaned (trash in the bathroom, smelled like drugs, infested with roaches, keys of previous guest still in the room, door not locking appropriately) we checked out immediately and although I was respectful and showed the staff and managers recordings of the room and explained the situation they did nothing but threaten us, were very rude and nasty and never returned our money. PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS TO YOURSELVES, sleeping in your car will be 100% a better option.

Where do I begin? Arrived around 4:30 for check in, they didn't have any rooms ready, said it would be 15 minutes to an hour to be ready. I went back into the office after 20 minutes to get a status update, no one was at the desk & there was a sign to ring a bell for assistance but no bell. I could hear talking in the back but no one came out. Finally the gentleman from earlier came out and said he would get and update. I waited maybe 10 more minutes and he came back out and said the housekeeper was just going to change the sheets on the bed l, everything else was done. So he said come back in maybe 15 minutes. By this time since arriving it's been close to an hour. So I go back into the office, see the guy move from a desk in the back and walk away, I waited about 5 minutes, then very loudly said excuse me, no to answer. I called the hotel from my phone while standing in the office and it rang and rang and rang. I yelled out excuse me about 3 more times, still letting the phone ring off the hook. It's been maybe 10-15 minutes and the gentleman comes in and says sorry, I was helping the house keeper make the bed. Checks me in, gives me keys. It's around 630 pm by the time I park to get into the room. When unlocking the door, the house keeper is still in the room. CHANGING THE SHEETS ON THE BED. He stated he still needed about 15 more minutes. I get into the room at around 6:55. 2.5 hours after initially arriving. After being in the room for about 30 minutes I noticed that there were 0 towels. Not one bar of soap & less than half a roll of toilet paper. At this point I was so over this place I just walked out and went elsewhere. If I had to wait that long for a room I'd expect atleast 1 towel. I do understand places are short on help. But the whole experience was awful. Front desk person never being at the front desk? Just awful.

Pre booked a room for the night with a 3pm check in. When I booked they had 6 rooms left. When I got here prepaid mind you, the staff is turning folks away. Overbooked. It is now 4:35 I've been waiting in the lobby for my room to be cleaned for an hour and a half. 4:50 got registered got Into the room and the tv has no signal. I just wanted to relax and figure things out. Although no bugs. Room is decent enough. I asked about a late Check out since I'm waiting on the room 2 hours. That kind of service should be automatic. No response from desk clerk.

I stayed here 2 days 6/5 and 6/6 this hotel is not worth the money. Appliances are broken, bathroom fixtures are broken and don't work, Roaches are everywhere in the room. I went to complain and I locked myself out the room the gentleman in the front desk would not let me back in my room. Told me anyone can get access to the key even tho I have proof of ID but the night clerk didn't do her job and didn't put the right info in. I would not recommend this place to anyone i will sleep in my car before coming back here and it's cheaper.

I helped someone with a bad situation and secured temporary lodging at this hotel. The prices were the cheapest in the area. I was able to do an online reservation. However, one thing that isn't mentioned when you reserve a room is that there is a $100 deposit. The deposit is finally disclosed when you check in. As mentioned on other reviews, the housekeeping and maintenance needs to be improved. This is a major sticking point as the room we got had preexisting cosmetic damage on the wall by the bed and there were flecks of color on the tub when we checked in. We checked out before the 11:00 am checkout time. I believe the preexisting damage is used as an excuse to keep your deposit as I haven't received a refund on that yet. The takeaways on accommodations at this hotel is to inspect your room for preexisting damage after check in and document. Mention to the front office if you find any damage. The rates are reasonable, but the surprise $100 deposit requirement diminishes the value. I would expect better since this hotel is part of the Red Roof chain.

False advertising, the title says it has a gym but it doesn't. The room reeks of cigarettes and the blanket has many burn marks. My throat hurts just being in this room. The walls and floors are sticky and filthy. The AC unit is on full blast and barely cools the room. I would never recommend staying here to anyone.

The pool was locked up and I was told we couldn't swim. Then the laundry room stairs locked all the time, so I had to drive 5 miles away to a laundry mat. The room had roaches and was disgusting. Will never stay here again

This hotel is a joke. I never knew about a 100 dollar deposit. They took my money for the room and didn't refund me because I didn't have the 100 dollar deposit. DO NOT BOOK WITH HOPPER. THEIR A JOKE. NO HELP WHATSOEVER AND DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. IF YOU CAN READ ANYTHING READ THIS!

If you're staying in the area you already know the area and paying this cheap is all you care about. Night staff Brian and April are cool and easy going. Security chases off zombies all night and puts on a show. This isn't a 4 star hotel so don't expect it to be. Shower, sleep and go to work that's why you're really here.

Terrible front of house staff. They make you wait until exactly 3pm to check in. We were there 10 minutes early and they refused to help us. We booked expecting to have a pool as advertised, then we were told the pool has been broken for 2 years.

The place is ok. I booked my room online paid with my debit card . When I arrived they. They said there's a 100$ card only. deposit.I understand the reason for the deposit my issue is being upfront and transparent about the deposit online when you book and pay for your room. Knowing it's not refundable once you book if you don't have the extra 100$ for the deposit on a debit/credit card you will lose the money you paid for the room. The room had missing drawers in the desk. half the channels didn't work on the TV. The wifi didn't work. The bed was clean and fresh washed bedding clean towels and washclothes I give the room a 3 its not terrible didn't smell no bugs. Other than not being transparent and upfront about costs. I would stay here again.

Jessica is very nice and helpful. I appreciate good customer service so I really appreciate her patience. Justin and A.J. have been really nice and helpful too. The king size bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is huge and the kitchen is perfect for me. The location is perfect, near grocery stores and hospitals

The management is hospitable and customer friendly., Security was nice and made me feel safe. The rooms are clean, the swimming pool is also. I recommend this place if you are looking for an affordable night or extended night stay.

Absolutely worst experience of my life. I'm not one take time out of my day to write a review, but something needs to be done about this location. Here we go! I walked in to the room I reserved, only to be greeted by another guest which I found unsettling. No, this guest was not human in any kind but a pregnant ROACH 🪳 now I barely had enough time to turn on my bathroom light before I was greeted by our live-in guest. I immediately turned around and went back up to the office to get a refund where the employee acted "shocked" when I told them what happened, but never apologized for the occurrence and seemed kind of use to issuing refunds for this very same issue. Going forward from this experience, I will never step foot in any HomeTowne Studio location. I suggest the same after you ready this review.

There were bugs all over the floors and in the bathroom. Somehow they weren't on the beds but the sheets and blankets were stained and burned. Whose to say they were actually clean or not. There's only one towel in each room and they do not have extra towels to ask for. Cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom were basically falling apart. They had a nice clean microwave, though.

I visited a friend here but I sprung for a better place. The location is right on the fence of being run down. On top of that there's some characters that I wouldn't turn my back on walking around the property. Thank you Expedia!

Construction and maintenance in each room today. So loud and no privacy. Guests were loud and fighting last night and their dogs barking. Couldn't reach or find anyone at front desk to complain and no response via email either. Rooms are a little in need of updating and deep cleaning. But I got a decent price for 2 nights.
