I would love to give more than 5 stars. This was my first time in Arizona, my trip isn’t over yet however I cannot begin to describe the absolute beauty, peaceful, serenity of the entire resort. Besides it being absolute paradise, my favorite part is the amazing staff, from staff at the pool, the restaurant, spa, boutique, housekeeping, room service. Each and every single employee that works here makes each day better, they’re so friendly and nice and extremely knowledgeable about the best places around the resort but honestly once you’re here, you won’t want to leave. I travel a lot and have stayed at so many places but no place have I been where the staff is as kind, sweet, and personable. The service is beyond impeccable. I need to add more photos but it’s hard to take your eyes away from the natural beauty that is all around. The calamari I got last night from room service is honestly the best calamari I have ever had. The rooms are enormous, the beds are so comfortable, I really can’t say just how perfect it is here. Also, anytime you call for anything from water, to ice, to anything, they’re at you’re room before you even know it. I absolutely love Sanctuary Camelback, if you’re looking for a place to stay, stop now. Book here, you’ll be so happy you did.

Our wedding at the sanctuary was absolutely amazing. There was nothing that could have been done better. The entire team including Robin and Jessica were top notch. The grounds are amazing, and our guests keep telling us that we had the best wedding they've ever attended. The location is prime for perfect picture taking - and the food was wonderful - and the staff was superb. Speaking of a thoughtful detail - we had a "personal" attendant from the moment we said "i do" until the end of the wedding. Once we said our i'-dos we were greeted with champagne and congratulated as a happy couple. Then we disappeared for a half hour for photos on the mountain before returning to our party. Once we arrived back - there were drinks for just us - and a personal plate of our appetizers for us to enjoy before meeting our guests for happy hour. Most married couples - don't get time to eat or take care of themselves because everyone wants their attention. We were just SPOILED by great service. I also thought the presentation of their offer for the wedding ceremony was very upfront. I think we had better confidence in what we were getting versus other wedding venues. The rooms were amazing. Thank you Sanctuary for a wonderful wedding - we will likely return often to celebrate special occasions keeping the memory of our special day alive. With great thanks Richard and Charles

This is a place you go if you want to be reminded that Service can still come with a Smile. Amazing food, accommodations, and libations, but the friendliness of the staff tops it all. Truly cozy atmosphere. Stay here for a quick break from the everyday world or for a special occasion. They will take care of you. If you are active, you should hike to the top of Camelback Mountain via Echo Canyon Trail at least one morning. It'll only make the food, the pool, and the refreshing drinks even better.

Overall, an amazing location amazing resort. Major issue at the pool. The service on Sunday was about as horrible as one could ever imagine at a resort of this caliber. All the staff could care less about customer service you had to ask for water, you had to ask for a menu you had to ask to place an order for lunch and drinks. They said they would send somebody over and never did. It was a windy morning and, an umbrella fell in the pool the staff did nothing. Guests grab the umbrella and took it out of the pool. Four of the female staff were standing around the station underneath the balcony and complaining about how the manager hadn’t been there for a month and didn’t care, so why should we. The food was average and there was no way of ever asking for a cocktail because they would’ve never come back. I’ve had many of great and memorable experiences at this pool and relaxing and enjoying great customer service. It was one of the worst experiences of my life if I was in management, I would have a shopper have the experience of being by the pool on a weekend and seeing what we saw. Longtime guests and diners at the sanctuary. It was very sad to see this experience at the pool.

Simply spectacular! My wife and I stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every minute. Staff-including every functional area of the resort-was outstanding. VERY customer centric and done with kindness. Restaurant, Jade Bar, Spa, Concierge, Front Desk, and entire support team cared about their jobs and treated you with respect. We will be back next year and will request same room as our view was surreal. Thank you for such a memorable stay at Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort.

I've been to the Sanctuary's Spa a few times and it has always been great. I get massages frequently at different locations / try new massage therapists all the time. Today, my massage therapist was Antoine and it was seriously the BEST massage I have ever had. Hands down the best massage therapist in the Scottsdale area!

Since they changed hands the quality of the food has gone down tremendously. We used to LOVE their burger in the Jade Bar...fat. juicy and super tasty. Now it is a "Smash Burger"...thin and burnt. I had to send mine back and got something else. Equally as bad. Sorry to say we will not be going here again. Views are lovely but the food is not good.

Cool hotel venue, comfortable beds although the pillows weren’t great. The suite we had was lovely and spacious. Stayed here for a few nights in April. Staff were really nice too. Sherry at the bar makes an excellent cocktail. She made a great old fashioned. Elements the restaurant: Food is really nice although the service if sat outside can be slow and muddled which lets them down a bit. Portions are also absolutely massive - we over ordered most nights! Morning fruit platters were incredible. Highly recommend. The gym is good, a fresh electrolyte drink is prepared daily which is a really nice touch. The poolside is nice but does get busy. Poolside service is good although lost our bill - overall we were chilled and weren’t rushing so wasn’t a problem.

The Sanctuary is such a beautiful spot to have a wedding ceremony! I’ve played violin at a few weddings here and both indoor/outdoor is absolutely gorgeous. The views are so pretty, and the outdoor area space is pretty large. Inside for reception is perfect and just as pretty. Love performing here!

This hotel is the definition of paradise in Paradise Valley . Close drive to downtown Scottsdale and Phoenix. Vacationed here prior to my graduation. Spa experience was one of the best. It can get busy if bridal and other events are being held, but there is meditation room to unplug from the chaos. We stayed in a Casita which was recently refurbished. A surprise was champagne and rose petals strewd about the room as part of package purchased. We would return.

I was on a business trip in Arizona and came across the restaurant on the resort via Google. The restaurant was beautiful, both inside and outside. The service was excellent! The food was really good and the drinks were amazing! The views were great as well!

Had a staycation for our birthdays. Staff is exceptional - friendly, professional, helpful. This was true from valet, to front desk, to spa, to the hosts/servers in restaurant/bar. Room was very nice with beautiful views. Spa was very nice and our massages were very good. It's not cheap, but comparable to similar resorts/spas.

The Sanctuary is my favorite resort on earth to visit. The peace that we receive every time staying here is unexplainable. From the courteous staff to the quiet private quarters, this resort truly has it all. Every room is immaculate with details of luxury and uniqueness you won’t find anywhere else. Trust me and book this resort any chance you get. You will not regret spending the money, you won’t want to leave! Huge thanks to Majel for being so attentive to our needs while staying this past weekend for our wedding and honeymoon. The wedding planner on-site was also amazing and so friendly. Also special shout-out to our favorite Valet Matt, he is always has outstanding customer service. We will be back very soon!

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your stay. This site will compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have rates much cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the highest rated in this area. I've been coming here for years. If you choose this place you for sure will love it I'm sure! I was expecting the food to be way better than what it was - I have been here twice as I like to give the restaurants a chance as everyone has a bad day - but for the price it should be way better. We won't be going back - but our server was great

Stunning resort! The views are breathtaking, the hotel is impressive. First of all, it smells amazing, the vegetation around the hotel is gorgeous, the decor is modern but comforting and warm. The rooms are large and they have everything you could want. The beds are so comfortable I never wanted to leave. Also you MUST eat at the restaurant - it is absolutely delicious! Everything on the menu is exquisite! Honestly there’s no need to leave! I HIGHLY recommend this establishment!!

Great place for a special occasion meal! Secluded booth for 2 with a view of the mountains was a perfect setting (even with the screens down). Service is always first rate. Beautiful presentation. Melon salad and coconut cream/macadamia nut pie were particularly delicious.

I got a cup of tea at elements today. Freindly staff, nice service. I am looking forward to seeing new construction and level up all aspects. Currently unstable floor, tiny bathrooms, not enough signs for hot stove in the waiting area. This is one of my stops to enjoy with my friends. I love to enjoy level up new elements.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sanctuary Camelback Resort, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and exceptional hospitality. The resort’s location nestled in the stunning Camelback Mountain provided a serene and picturesque backdrop for my stay. The lush gardens and beautiful architecture seamlessly blended with the natural surroundings, creating an oasis of tranquility. The accommodations were nothing short of luxurious. My room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and featured modern amenities. The private patio offered breathtaking views of the mountains, making it a perfect spot to unwind. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional dining experience. The on-site restaurant served delectable cuisine, and the attentive staff ensured that every meal was a delight. The farm-to-table concept and diverse menu options were a pleasant surprise. The resort’s spa was a true sanctuary for relaxation. I indulged in a spa treatment that left me feeling rejuvenated and pampered. The facilities were immaculate, and the staff was highly skilled and attentive. What truly sets Sanctuary Camelback Resort apart is the impeccable service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction were truly commendable. In summary, Sanctuary Camelback Resort offers a world-class experience that combines natural beauty, luxury, and exceptional service. It’s an ideal destination for those seeking a tranquil escape, whether for a romantic getaway or a rejuvenating retreat. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort and look forward to returning in the future.

Went there to enjoy a wonderful dining experience. It was a bit pricey $$$$ for less than quality food. However, the views and the service were spectacular. I guess that's what we were paying for.

The service and stay was relaxing and very enjoyable. Heather, thank you for being amazing. At breakfast, Heather was not only a great person and server but went above and beyond. The bartender (Hurley) that served us and stayed late to accommodate us was a terrific person and host . Please see my pictures to see a beautiful room and setting. Thank you to the guys working at the entrance for giving us a ride to and from our room in the golf carts. There is lots to see and eat . Remember to try their breakfast sandwich .

This was an out of body experience. The resort is beautiful, the staff right from the valet parking all the way to the management were examples of the best service I have ever seen. The drinks were explosions of flavor in my mouth. I was enjoying every sip slowly because of the taste of the drinks. The bone in ribeye was the best steak I have ever had. I mean there was nothing wrong with this experience other than it had to come to an end. The best all the way around!! And let's not forget the view!! Stunning! Will be back 1 billion % for sure.

We stopped bye to view the venue for a Wedding for my daughter and her fiance. It is absolutely STUNNING! We had amazing drinks at the bar and had a great view of a wedding. The busboy took us on a fabulous nickle tour and pointed out all the attributes to the venue. What a gem he was. This is our daughter's top pick.

Beautiful property. Great location comfortable beds. Amazing views from the Casitas friendly staff overall one of the best resorts in Scottsdale. wanted to also add that our breakfast was delicious. Julio welcomed us as if this was his home and made us feel welcome. I had the best eggs Benedict.

We celebrated our 4th anniversary this month at the resort and everything was excellent! The staff was exceptionally friendly and very accommodating. We stayed in a Camelback King Suite and had a beautiful view of the mountains from our balcony. Our Suite was in the back of resort so it was quiet and offered us privacy. The bed was so comfortable, the living room area was cozy with a fireplace and minibar, and we enjoyed the large spa shower. The resort is small enough to walk around, but the staff is always willing to drive you around in a golf cart. We enjoyed eating breakfast each morning outside overlooking the pool with a panoramic view of the mountains. The food options remain the same throughout the week, but almost everything we tried was delicious (skip the turkey sandwich and breakfast fried rice) and the wait staff was outstanding each day. The spa has a very nice atmosphere with good amenities. Our massages were very relaxing and although I did not get a facial, the other guests in the spa raved about the HydraFacial being the best in Scottsdale. The concierge made reservations for us at Wrigley Mansion for our anniversary dinner. He made sure we had the best table in the house so we could enjoy the beautiful sunset! We truly enjoyed the Scottsdale area and highly recommend staying at the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain resort!

Stayed here with a girlfriend for a spa weekend and it was everything we could have asked for. It was a very luxurious stay and have no complaints. Word to the wise, they have a lot of promos that go on their site without announcements, check before you book or make a spa appointment. Will definitely come here again.

We recently enjoyed an anniversary day with a trip to the spa for their custom massage treatment. From the moment I made the reservations to checkout, everything was on point and relaxing. Although it was busy in the ladies lounge, it all seemed to flow well and comfortably. My therapist Michelle was excellent and well experienced. I highly recommend her and the spa and can’t wait to go back!

I visited Sanctuary Spa after purchasing a Groupon and absolutely loved it. Their spa is world class as well as having a spectacular resort. Take advantage of absolutely everything when you visit - go to the pool and swim float on the infinity edge; enjoy the grounds and beautiful scenery; eat some lunch at Elements and admire the view; use their fitness facilities! Top quality fitness equipment you won't find at your regular gym. But most of all use all the spa amenities - hot tubs and steam rooms, the most wonderful relaxation aka "nap room", and the complementarity beverages and snacks. I had my massage with Heather who was so delightful. Her skills are excellent.

Was so happy and relaxing at spa was amazing. We decide to go enjoy the pool after the spa and have some drinks and food by the pool. The lady at pool didn’t let us being there because we didn’t had a room Sad we are all really excited for the experience there. Steve was amazing and he help us find a mini pool to stay.

The staff was lovely. They met our every need while we were there. The rooms were clean and roomy and oh so quiet. It was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. I would definitely come back. My only critique is that the food menu was limited. More salad options would have been nice and the food service was extremely slow. However, everything I ate was tasty and the environment was again relaxing.

  • 4/5 Suki R. 1 year ago on Google
Went for the spa and it did not disappoint. My massage was fantastic! The steam room was so steamy that I couldn't see others inside. Lol! The infinity pool was warm...but the city was cold so didn't stay as long as desired. The food and drink was good. Every service person was attentive and polite. Highly recommend
