    Living here has been an exercise in frustration I don't even know where to begin with this place. Let's start by saying I lived here for 11 months, beginning in June 2018, and have had nothing but bad experiences. To start with the apartments are not like the pictures on their website. Don't be fooled. The cabinets were just are completely worn and falling apart they were only sturdy for like 3 months until the started to fall and realized they were just painted over. Their were little repairs needed when we did the walk threw but never got fixed and under the sinks in the 1 bathroom and the kitchen were getting mold .We noticed dead roaches but were told it was bombed and it was a must to any apartment before renting .The manager Nahomi was kind and good heart of the families always trying to help with any of your concerns and making it a cozy home for families having fun things for the kids .That's why I never made a big deal on fixing the little things because she was always working hard to get it done.The new management is worst they discriminate you and are so heartless .I brought it to their attention about the things that still were a work in progress and needed done when I went to pay rent and the lady in the office was so rude responding that it did not matter how many times they went to inspect the apartment that they were not mind readers and if people wanted to live like that they should .I told theme to check the prior reports on how many time my apt needed fixing and how many bombs they did when it only seemed like they did a maintenance spray .She said that I needed download an app take pictures off all the repairs and uplo aded it and then come see her to set a date to fix things. Her only concern after all the things I had brought up to their attention she said that I needed to pay due rent and late fees after the 1 st and it had to be a money gram not a money order or I was going to go to court the next day without needed to get served because they could serve me without being present just by them having them put a notice on my door. If you get a repair make sure you get a copy for yourself because when I went to court I didn't have proof of all the maintenance that was done and pending. For some weird reason the new owners lost the files but only had my lease information. When I went to court with pictures and videos to prove how poorly I was living with my three kids. I met another tenant who was thier to she was going to be evicted for not paying and she didn't want to pay until her concerns were met .She had told me she is living on the bottom floor and had carpet that her baby was getting rashes of how poorly the carpet was being cleaned.Her most concern was that she was getting scorpions now that the heat started and flooded her outside closet and living room when it rained.I needed to hear no more I was out of their and moved 1 month before my lease .I was so mad because in my old apartment I didn't have a luxury of having a pool or gym that this apartment has but at least I didn't have to wake up and turn the lights on and find like 20 roaches crawling or having to wash my dishes before a meal and after meals because roches would be crawling in the cabinets.I feel the same as lories review because I feelt that I was treated the same .To the owners it doesn't make us bad people we pay it in full with late fees included. It doesn't make us any different and should not be discriminated or treated less . Respect the people who rent from you. You'd be surprised the .Live and Learn I guess take care the New ReNew 3030.Im glad your in my past and my nightmares are over .The only reason I gave it a 1 star was because we had good neighbors and the gym and pool were the only thing that was being maintained.Good luck in calling this your new home .

    I wish I could give 0 stars. This place is absolutely disgusting. Roach infestation and management didn't seem to care and even implied I was the one who brought the roaches. The lack of communication is hilarious. I moved in when I was told I could and the apartment was in bad shape. Stained countertops and medicine cabinets. Showers were stained as well. The cabinets, drawers, and the drawer tracks nothing but Dead Roaches and droppings. They seem to think spraying or fogging will help but if they knew anything about roaches they'd know the entire complex needs it. The pool was green all Summer because they don't know how to maintain it through monsoon season. This place needs to be turned in.

    I lived in this complex for two years, moved out about a month ago for personal reasons. The apartments are nice and maintained well. I was impressed with the management, particularly Brittany and Allan. Brittany is very friendly and accommodating, Allan is very professional and friendly too. I would highly recommend these apartments, when you live somewhere that is managed effectively and friendly like these apartments, it makes a big difference.

    very difficult getting in contact with anyone in the office !!!! seriously frustrating I got approved and have been waiting on Stacey to get back with me for almost 2 weeks now and she has been ignoring me and giving me a complete run around. Sadly frustrated at this point.

    The new property manger, Christina, is the most hands on and hard working property manager I know of. She always has her tenants best interest in mind and works to get problems solved quickly. I am guessing that everyone here will start seeing how hard she is working to make this complex the best in the city.

    I see the negative reviews and those must be from previous management. I recently moved to AZ from another state and I just want to say from the beginning Christina has been a great person to work with. I’ve been living here going on 5 months and I don’t have any roach or bug problems. Whenever I have a maintenance request they are very prompt and fast to get things done. Christina understands there are unexpected life challenges that come up and she will work with you as long as you communicate with her. By far one of the best property managers I’ve crossed paths with. She cares about the well being of her tenants and the property she manages. The pool and dog park are always clean as well as the parking lot. I’m glad I went with Portola East Mesa.

    I have tried to be patient working with the management here at the property I have lived here for two months now the conditions of the apartment when I moved in were terrible but I have tried to just work with the situation.My final straw is that management here is not doing a good job communicating .work orders are backed up they come start work and will leave to another issue in the middle of your work order . Called the management on Friday. The lady told me she was gonna send someone. The guy never came and it has been 5 days now. No call or anything

    Incredible how it was fine for us to move in to our apartment when it was not clean. It smelled like cigarettes, there was yellow on all the walls, the flooring was beat up in the kitchen already and there was roaches. We took care of the majority of this and somehow when we move out we get charged enough fees that we no longer get our security deposit back. Horrible. They were always nice before this. Maintenance was always helpful and took care of maintenance requests. But as soon as we left all professionalism on there side was aborted.

    Decent place but it's manage poorly. It's honestly like the people don't care. They hardly do the things that are broken. The apartment was in terrible shape. Our cabinet door fell off twice and they didn't come til 3 weeks later 2/10 I suggest you look somewhere else. Also they can cockroaches. I had to live with them my entire year I've been there

    The new property manager Christina is very knowledgeable and helpful with any issues that my family and I have encountered. Christina and her team have been informative and open with us and very welcoming. There is no comparison to Christina in terms of Property Manager. Great upgrade from last manager.
