Recently found out about the Real Deal Cafe. Had the Real Deal burger w/salad and fries. Fantastic. Next time will try one of their breakfasts. Go! It's a small Cafe, but very good!

I always drive past and I’ve heard good things; I took my husband and 2 littles a couple days before Christmas, letting our waitress know why I needed so long the menu was loaded with amazing choices. First timer here… They brought out a slice of their coconut breaded French toast to try. Everything tasted fresh and homemade and they were so friendly! We made sure to tip the cooks as well, that might be our new breakfast stop.

Update. Senior group of 4 breakfast meeting ~ monthly for years. Great food, outstanding waitress (Tana), a busy, cozy diner where they “know your name”, and is locally owned. Our breakfast pick from many area options. An old fashioned diner with fresh fruit, squeezed o.j., good coffee, fine food & an experience that always kick starts our day. A feel good time with close friends. Thanks for hanging in there the past two years. 🤗❤️ The FOUR CORNER GROUP

Not a great experience eating here. The food tasted alright, but my fiancé and I found it really hard to enjoy our meals due to the fact that the waitress’ excessively long thumb nails were sticking into his burger bun and into a piece of pineapple on my plate. Besides that, I have a psychiatric service animal that was with me, when I walked inside to be seated, I received very judgmental looks until I asked to be seated outside. Even then I continued to receive unfriendly service. While I understand there is other work to get to, I do expect to not be treated as an inconvenience by the staff, it is a sit down restaurant after all. As two young people who support ourselves, it’s very disrespectful to be treated as incompetent and less than someone else, we were simply looking to enjoy a meal, but instead were immediately treated with judgmental and inhospitable behavior.

Real Deal's is pretty much one of the last good places in the area to get breakfast. They've got great hotcakes, omelettes, french toast, eggs, and sandwiches. I've been here more than a dozen times, and I may have been mildly disappointed once. Every other experience has brought with it delicious food and excellent service. Don't go to Denny's or IHOP and get their mass-produced garbage, go to Real Deal's and get, well, the real deal.

Today I sat at the bar and ordered what I always order: a cup of coffee and those potatoes. Oh my god, those potatoes. I can't even so hard, I'm at odds. They are cheesy goodness, and they *never* skimp on the bacon. The staff is always friendly and quick to refill my coffee. I highly recommend Real Deal to anyone who loves tasty diner food.

Amazing food, they hit it out of the ballpark everytime. My boyfriend and I come here bi-weekly, if not once a week. It's quickly become our favorite restaurant in Medford. You always see the same friendly faces who are quick to serve you. The crossiant breakfast sandwhich and French toast are amazing. The small appetite plates are a great deal as well.

it's where I take my out of town family when I want to impress them with great food for an affordable price. Have never been disappointed.

Our food was overcooked. Pancakes were borderline burnt. I saw the older lady working the counter wiper her nose with her hands twice and then touch the prep counter behind her without washing her hands. Super gross. Our server was very nice, answered our questions kindly. She was the best part of the experience. Everything was also a bit overpriced for the serving size. We won't be returning unless management changes.

This is one of my mother's and my favorite places to get brunch. The food is always good. The staff is always friendly. Our food is always fresh and delicious. The restaurant and bathrooms are always clean. It's a great local family restaurant.

Very disappointed in the quality of food and service. The food had no taste and wasn't special by any means. When I asked our waitress what kind of fruit they served, she had no idea and wouldn't ask the chefs for me. I would NEVER go back.

Love the food but I’m done. My dad can’t get out to eat anymore so I have called in to go orders for the last year and have never gotten it correctly. Something is always missing or the entire order is messed up.

Wasn't impressed, girlfriend was trying to be nice, but the food is incredibly bland and I couldn't really eat anymore of it... And the price was ridiculous... $26 for something I could get for $11 but better tasting..will never return.

A stroll away from the hotel just admiring the surrounding mountain view oh so serene led me to this cosy cafe that can be easily overlooked. Causal atmosphere strategically place 4 seated tables in the middle. The staff takes pride in making sure tables and chair sanitize wipe down after every customer. The booth was taken at the time and I was disappointed... Don't like airplane middle seat for the same reason seating too close for comfort and the customer coughing at interval behind me made me feel really uncomfortable. The large pancakes with maple syrup and orange butter on the side I could not eat it all. It was well-done not burned... Happy customer. Depended on what you order, the people who came behind me serve first. Fresh fruits was a welcoming tasty treat. Potatoes the local rave about was ok the plus it was not greasy or salty with avocado on the side. A little disappointed no turkey bacon or vegan. The orange juice was a little acidity which was easily diluted in water. If you have a healthy appetite, and passing though, then this little local gem should be on your list to check out. The real deal for less than $20 bucks breakfast that is satisfying.

Very disappointing- I was invited for breakfast there this morning. My friend was waiting outside and told me he was refused seating until our entire group was present. This has never happened to me so I thought I’d give them a second chance and went in and was told the same. I said they might lose a customer and we left, After enjoying a great breakfast at Black Bear Diner I went back and asked to talk to the manager who WAS there. The waiter talked to him, but he didn’t come out. I told the lady that they just lost $100, but she kept to the story. … and it was 3/4 EMPTY originally!! Too bad! Shameful!!

RUDE PEOPLE!!!!! If I could give no stars this would be the place! We had a party of four and two of us were five minutes early to our meet time there. They said they would NOT seat us until all of us were there!!!!! I have never been to a restaurant in this country where this happened! I have been in restaurants in all lower 48 states in my 30 years driving trucks. I will never give this place a dime!!! AVOID these rude people!!!!!

Food was great, atmosphere is alright but nothing to write home about, service was friendly and quick, except for us getting in to eat, that was a wait. The wait is my only complaint.

Always great service and delicious food and decently affordable. If you're feeling a craving for delicious breakfast eggs this is the place to go.

RUDE, RUDE, RUDE! / Hedging on illegal practices! What can you say about a cafe who will not seat three ( two with mobility issues) people who wish to order drinks while waiting for two other people to arrive? (Who, btw are at the gas station literally next door to this cafe!) We were supposed to stand in the small entry way, drink our beverages while there were plenty of empty tables and this cafe WAS NOT BUSY! I do not care what your policies are. When you have 3 people, 2 who are having difficulty standing, waiting to sit down and ORDER, your restaurant is not serving it's purpose by forcing people to stand in the doorway! RUDE!

Menu lied about what was included, staff did not see the error. Food was fine, outdoor seating nice. Long wait for one plate of food

Went with the family. There were 9 of us. Great food and enough variety for us all. They even had salsa for my omelette.

Burnt cold food, RUDE waitstaff, and then overcharged on a had written ticket. When you politely ask for it to be fixed, you get told "I have worked here 32 years, I know what I am doing, if you don't like it the you can go somewhere else" I showed the menu price and still was told I was wrong. Happened more then once. I paid exactly what the bill should have been according to the menu pricing in cash this time and was told not to come back. Apparently they don't want customers at this restaurant. Also have been very non compliant with disabilities, allergies and food handling. I would compare the waitstaff to that at a terrible drive through.

Had a wonderful server everyone was kind and attentive. Food was wonderful and for some reason someone paid for our meal, maybe because of my disability or maybe just out of kindness. Either way it was one of the nicest treats I have ever received. So thank you so much 4 your kindress who ever you where.

First time going there for a dine-in experience; we'd ordered take-out from here a few times during the pandemic lock down. The service was prompt, courteous, and friendly. The food was, well, the precise breakfast experience my son and I were looking for! Stick-to-your-ribs, down-to-earth breakfast just like your mama used to make for the family on lazy Sundays. And very close to home! We will be going back 😋

I don't eat much so I ordered off the small menu. Good service and very attentive. Food was great!.

I went in, heard the food was good. I was lied to. Its no different than black bear i hop or any other breakfast stop of that caliber. The only realistic thing about the restaurant is its not that good.

This was an amazing meal! You can tell they used fresh ingredients and the people were friendly and happy! Super yummy! Definitely a 'Must' place to eat in Medford!

Service and staff was ok. Get a booth because the chairs at the tables are very uncomfortable. The food was less than desirable. Broccoli cheddar soup was very curdled and oily for some reason. BLT sandwich had one slice of bacon, very dry, no mayo, very thick bun. Reuben sandwich was very small with barely anything in it.
